What Love Can Exist? (Phoenix Wright Fan-fic)

Permalink Closed

Franziska couldn't help but glare at the two men sitting in her office, holding hands no less. One was her half-brother, Miles Edgeworth, who wore his usual magenta suit with ruffles. The other was Phoenix Wright, wearing a grey jacket, black pants, sandals, and a knit beanie. She couldn't help but stare at the bulge underneath the fabric, thinking that he let himself go in the past few years.

"Marriage!?" she repeated again, "Miles, you fool, you can't be serious! How could you marry this fool?!" The ex-prosecutor sighed and answered, "Because I love this fool. You knew that from the start, my dear sister. He saved me from living the life of a criminal; he cares about me! And I care about him! You should be happy that I am getting married!"

"I am happy brother." The young lady answered as she pinched the bridge of her nose, "It's just that you're marrying Phoenix Wright; the man that pulled our family name in the mud!"

"He proved how wrong we were." Edgeworth argued, "A case must be won with dignity, grace, and honesty. Forging and hiding evidence is wrong, and you know that. That's what Wright has taught me in all those years."

Miles and Phoenix exchanged loving glances while Franziska groaned and walked over to her desk, pulling down her trademark whip. "Looks like I will have to slap some sense into you two." she reasoned as she snapped her whip. "Just hold still; it will be over soon."

The two looked at her as she prepared to begin her punishment on the two. Phoenix put his arms around the bulge as Edgeworth stepped in front of him. "Franziska, don't do this!" Edgeworth begged, "Wright's in a very delicate situation right now!"

"Oh what, he's just a little fat." The young lady reasoned, "The little fool has foolishly let his foolish body go. Not an excuse to whip some sense into him." But Edgeworth shook his head, saying, "No, it's not that!" Franziska stomped her foot on the ground and asked, "What, do you expect me he has a tumor growing in his stomach!?"

"No, something that is more darling than that." Phoenix said as he stood up, "Franziska, you're going to be an aunt; I'm pregnant with Edgeworth's children."  The German prosecutor dropped her whip instantly, staring at the attorney with intense eyes. "THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!" She screamed, "You are a MAN! A MAN!!! Women get pregnant, not MEN! THAT'S SUCH A FOOLISH STATEMENT PHOENIX WRIGHT!"

"I know it's impossible." Phoenix explained, "But it happened. I've just reach the six month mark, and they're healthy. We've even heart our children's heart beats for the first time." But Franziska slapped Phoenix in the face, causing a harsh silence to fill the room. The young lady stared at the older man as he stared down at her, a red mark forming on his cheek. "That's just a lie!" she spat out, "Nothing but lies!" But the ex- attorney spoke, "its true; every word of it. I have Edgeworth as a witness. Besides, if I was fat, wouldn't my cheeks be a little chubbier? And if I had a tumor in my stomach, then I wouldn't be here."

"Get out." she ordered, "Both of you. Get out!" Phoenix shrugged and began to walk to the door, with Edgeworth following him. Franziska let out a soft sob as the door clicked shut, tears beginning to fall from her cold eyes. "Why? Why him?!" she questioned, "Why him of all people?!"

"I thought your sister would be happy about the news." Phoenix questioned as he and Edgeworth stepped onto the elevator, "I knew Trucy was excited, and so was Apollo. Even Maya and Pearl were happy for me."

"As well as several of your past clients." Edgeworth added, "Even Gumshoe wanted to congratulate you. But, you know Franziska; as cold as Manfred, but cries as easily."

Phoenix chuckled in response, rubbing his stomach gently. He turned to Edgeworth and asked, "Did you really want the twins? I've gotten a lot of bad rep from a lot of my old clients as well. Apparently, I'm making you look bad because of this." But the ex-prosecutor curled an arm around his shoulders, replying, "Phoenix, I loved you then, I love you now. I don't care what everyone thinks anymore. I'm going to be the proudest husband and father ever. Nothing will make me think otherwise. I love our children, and I love you."

A kiss on the cheek made Phoenix grin, and then nuzzled close to Edgeworth, whispering into his ear, "You've made me the happiest man on Earth."

I'm sorry I keep writing stuff like this. I've been really stressed, and I've been getting a little edgy.

Anyway, you can say this is another fan-fic, with Phoenix Wright. I've only seen five fan-fic of MP Ace Attorney; two with Edgeworth, two with Phoenix, and One for Apollo. Most of it's been one shot, either in the beginning, middle, or after the pregnancy. Only one has gone all the way, but it was high school themed, and it was too confusing.

I don't know if I want to continue this; it's already in the middle, and no one wants that these days.

I own no character in this; all belong to Capcom.

Please review, and comment fairly. All forms of Judgement are welcomed. And no fights please.
