Jacob’s POV

Shifting onto my side I winced as pain filled my body. Something wasn’t right but what?

Shifting again I realized I was in a bed with covers covering my naked bandaged body.

Moaning softly I opened my eyes closing them again and opening them back up after getting use to the light.

‘Where am I?’

“In my room mutt, and let me just say that you’re stinking it up.”

Blinking and looking to the voice I found myself looking at Edward Cullen. He was sitting on a black leather sofa and reading a thick book.

‘Your room? What do you mean I’m in your room leech?’

Edward’s eyes flashed up and he marked his page putting the book down and stared at me. “I mean what I said. You are in my room healing since you’re not healing fast enough and you got pretty injured.”

I narrowed my eyes as I pushed myself up onto my side stopping for a moment when I became dizzy. Throwing back the covers and standing remarkably steadily I headed to the balcony. “Thanks for your concern but I don’t need nor want it.”

Throwing the doors open and stepping out I swung myself over the edge shifting before I landed.

Hitting on all fours I take off for the trees remembering what I had told the two vampires to get them to leave me be. Well if they where gonna come here then it wasn’t going to be wise of them.

Slowing to a trot once in the woods I walked in a brief circle and laid down resting my enormous head on my paws and closing my eyes.

I drifted off still staying alert.

Screaming. The smell of smoke. People yelling. Waves of terror, fear, sadness, and failure.

Opening my eyes slowly my ears flicked as I heard noise. I lifted my head and looked to where it was coming from.

To my horror I saw that the Cullen’s home was set ablaze, the vampires not getting to close but having a sense of needing to. Then I realized why.

Bella was shouting from inside the burning structure.

Lurching painfully to my feet I ran as fast as my weak legs would carry me. Running right past the Cullen’s and shifting as I jumped and crashed through the large windows.

Regaining my senses I ran to the stairs and up to the top floor.

“Bella!”

“Jake! Jake I’m in here!”

Going toward the sound I found myself in Edward’s room. Looking around and listening I saw that a beam had fallen in front of the bathroom door so going over I grabbed hold ignoring the burning to my palms and lifted.

The door swung open now that the knob was free and Bella rushed out just as the floor chose that moment to give under our feet…

Edward’s POV

Hearing the sound of Bella’s scream and Jacob’s yell I knew they were both goners.

Bowing my head I would have cried had I been able to. Then I heard Alice and Jasper talking and Emmett hissed.

Turning my eyes narrowed at the sight of Jane, Alec, and Felix walking up to us smiling and praising themselves. When they stopped and we got closer to one another Jane spoke.

“Don’t feel sad for the human girl and the wolf Cullen’s. They are certainly not worth the small effort you may put forth for them.”

We all hissed but then everyone froze as a sound was heard from the house behind. Turning none could believe their eyes as Jacob’s massive wolf form crashed head first threw the remaining glass window and fell limp to the grass outside Bella rolling from his back and farther from the flames than he himself could manage to get himself.

Jasper, Emmett, Carlisle, and I rushed forward without a word. Carlisle and I went to Bella who was lying deathly still but still breathing. My brothers went to the giant wolf and dragged him farther from the heat and smoke.

“Edward we need to get them to the hospital.”

Looking up to the worried face of my ‘father’ I nodded lifting Bella into my arms.

‘Edward…move!’

Turning at the voice I was in time to see Felix coming right at me.

I didn’t get the chance to react before Emmett and Jasper were yelling and a blur of russet fur knocked me and Bella out of the way and to the ground.

There was a yelping howl as I looked in time to see Felix’s fist connect with the wolfs side and send him flying back into the burning inferno.

Just like that Jacob was swallowed by the yellow orange flames and the three unwelcomed vampires disappeared.

As I stood my family gathered round me. Alice was the first to speak.

“Jacob, what are we going to tell Bella? We can’t go in there and save him and he’ll die in there.”

This was my fault.

‘Get Bella to the hospital leech…before she dies and you’re alone again.’

Snapping my head up I frowned and looked around. I spotted Jacobs limping form retreating into the trees but saw him stop and look back with pain filled eyes.

“He’s out. Jacob’s out and he’s hurt. Emmett, Jasper, -go after him and-”

‘No…I’ll meet you all at the hospital leech just go and I’ll catch up as soon as I can.”

I stared as the wolf turned and disappeared.

“Never mind, he said he’d meet us there so let’s go.”

They all turned and ran to the hospital going in and first making sure Bella was alright. She was of course, it seemed that Jacob had taken the brunt of everything.

Once she was settled they all waited for Jacob to arrive. Which he did after a while.

‘Leech…I know you can hear me, I um…I need pants. I’m behind the hospital in the woods so bring me something to wear.’

Jacob’s pain even threw thoughts didn’t however go unnoticed as I told everyone and grabbing a pair of scrub bottoms we all went out to the edge of the tree line.

Finally Emmett spoke taking a small step forward. “Jacob we won’t hurt you so please let us help you.”

The large animal seemed to shudder as he shifted and stood naked and looking beat to hell before us. From what I saw it took all his strength to stay standing.

Stepping forward I held out the pants and he took them only staggering slightly as he quickly pulled them on then wrapped his arms around his body.

“Jake dear, are you alright? Shouldn’t you have healed by now?”

Jacob’s head snapped to Esme and he shook his head. “I…I’m in heat so healing is slower than it normally would be.”

It all made sense now. Why he’d gotten hard at the hands of Alec and Felix and why he had been so pleasured when I had snuck my fun with him.

“Jacob would you like to rest in my office?” Carlisle stepped forward slightly.

“No, I’ll stay out here the fresh air will be good for me.”

We all nodded and turned and went back inside.

Jacob’s POV

‘Damn it! I can’t believe myself, how could I have imprinted on Edward Cullen!? What the hell is wrong with me?’

Sighing I leaned against a tree my body humming as it healed.

Well not like it could get any worse…

A stick snapped behind me and turning there was a flash and I hit the ground hard.

I caught a whiff and knew what it was.

The thought barely formed before I was being beat into the dirt.

Edward’s POV

As the thought filled my head I froze. My brothers froze as well sensing my tension just before I spun and bolted back outside Emmett and Jasper following.

We came to a halt when we spotted Felix smirking as he held a unconscious Jacob in his arms and Jane toyed with the wolf’s short black blood matted hair.

Alec stepped forward grinning. “You want the dog back Cullen’s then you’ll give us the Bella girl. I’d hate to see what might happen to the flea bag and his pup’s if we get what we want.”

All of us stiffened but it was Emmett that voiced what we were thinking. “Pup’s? What are you talking about Alec?”

The vampires red eyes danced as his hand went to Jacob’s stomach. “Just what I said, the mutt is carrying pup’s thanks to dear Edward fucking him as he slept after me and Felix got what we wanted. Groaning and stirring I blinked my eyes open and wished I hadn’t. Pain stabbed threw my head and I groaned again.

“Ah he’s awake. Alec! The mutt’s awake!”

Three had bronze hair like himself and one had Jake’s black hair, but all four were tan like their mother.

Right then and there I knew I had to tell Jake something very important.

Jake’s POV

Shifting and sighing I blinked my eyes open and smiled at my pups, all making little noises to tell me they were hungry. Stiffly sitting up and picking them up two at a time I placed them on my chest and let them feed.

I blushed when a throat cleared and I looked up to see Edward as I was feeding the last two.

“You look very sexy holding them like that, I can’t wait to watch you forever.”

The murmur was so low that I almost didn’t catch it. Then Edward was walking over and sitting next to me, kissing me.

His lips moved against mine. “Jake I love you. You and our son’s.”

I blushed deeper. “I love you too Edward.”

“Stay with me forever, have more of my little ones. Jake marry me.”

Right then I was kissing him deeper as our two son’s slept on my chest. “Yes, yes Edward yes. I would love that, love to have more of your babies, love to be with you forever, and love to marry you!”

Right then it was official. Me and Edward were married the next spring our sons Kyle, Garret, Tristan, and Lin in the wedding as well.

This bliss I was happy with.
