On Monday morning the children awoke early then went into the kitchen where they looked for their grandma.
"Grandma we need your help we want to suprise mother and daddy with breakfast in bed for Valentine'sDay".
"Alright let's make them a healthy breakfast some eggs,fresh fruit,toast with jam and orange juice.
And maybe some tea with lemon "
"How does that sound to you?Rachel Storm asked her first seven grandchildren.
"That sounds wonderful. We've decided to be a huge help to mother and father while they're expecting"
"We're not going to argue anymore infront of them and
we're going to keep our rooms straight without them having to ask us to do so.And we're going to help take care of our new brothers and sister"

"I'm very proud of all of you.You're growing up.
Now let's begin getting breakfast together.Susan you get the eggs,butter,jam from the fridge.
Nicholas you sqeeze the orange juice while Bradley you make up two serving trays with a napkin and silverware.
How about someone get some flowers from the greenhouse room then put them in a small vase~anyone make any cards or buy presents?""Yes I made them a card in school I'll go get it and we can all sign it adding Valentine's wishes for the babies!

While the eggs cooked and the toast was made water was put on to boil for tea the children talked amonst themselves "We have to really be of help to our parents and to our little siblings when they arrive.We're their older brothers and sisters we have
to help bring them up and show them things"Nicholas told his siblings.
Rachel Storm listened with pride as her first seven grandchildren were talking about how they'd behave when their four sibling would enter this house.
"I'm so very proud of all of you those four little ones are going to come into a wonderful household"

The children with their grandma's help assembled the trays and they knocked on their parent's bedroom door
"Mother/Father can we come inside we have a special suprise for you? Are you inbed? "
"Come in children you can enter" Tracy said.
"Happy Valentine's Mother and Father!"
"How wonderful what a suprise!Look at this feast!
Fresh fruit,eggs toast jam bacon and Tea.
And theres a card and flowers also"
"Richard wake up look at what our children did for us"
Johnathon picked up the card and said "mother read this we all signed it~it's for both you and the babies"
Happy Valentine's Day Mother & Father..and to our four siblings who are yet to be born
We love you even though you're still inside of our parent's bellies we look foward to your births and to being your older brothers & Sisters.
Behave your selves inside of our parent's bellies and take it easy on their insides. Not too muck kicking ok?
Love Your older brothers & Sisters.

Tracy took the card and read the message and looked at all of the signatures and began to cry.
"We have the best children anyone can ask for and these four will have the best older siblings in the world they're going to be so lucky and loved"
"Come here all of you you're dad and I love you".
"Yes I'm so proud to be your dad and to have twelve wonderful children who respect each other-even though
Mother and I are still carrying four of you."
"Happy Valentine's Day everyone". Rachel Storm cried
"Mother did you help them with this?" Richard asked
"Just a bit-it was their idea they came to me".
"I love each and every one of you thanks for this".

A week after Valentine's Day the Storm household awoke to a snow storm.
Not a good thing on a day like today. Richard and Tracy were due to have  checkups to see how their pregnancy/pregmancy were comeing along.
These would have to be cancelled due to the weather.
They didn't want to be driving on slippery roads could have an accident.
"Dr. Harper we have to cancel today's appointments due to the weather"
"Thanks for calling Tracy, I'm very busy right now anyway the first patients in my study including my daughter have gone into Labour and I'm delivering children left and right and don't have time today. How about we reschedule your appointment for
next week the first week in March? Let's say on March third? at 10:30AM?"
"That sounds fine Dr.Harper. Can I ask have you become a grandfathter yet?"
"Yes Tracy I have my daughter has had five of her six children and is in Labour with
our last granddaughter right now. We expect her to deliver in the next half hour".
"Congratulations, I'll pass the word onto Richard he'll be so pleased! you go take care of your family and we'll see you on March third!"
"Tracy I want both you and Richard to gain 5 lbs and also come to the appointment
with very full bladders cause I'm going to want to do another round of Ultra Sounds"
"Dr.Harper we've told the children that we're expecting again and we would love it if
they could be present at our next Ultra Sounds. We want them to see what's happening inside of our bellies so it won't be so frightening for them.
What do you think,do you think it's a good idea for them?"
"How old are they now?"
"Dr. Harper they're seven years old now you delivered four of them seven Christmas's
ago-- I was still five weeks shy of delivering my triplets I had them after Richard delivered the quads. I showed up in his room the day after he delivered with a belly!"
"oh yes I remember now. Has it been that long ago?" Dr.Harper asked.
"It seems like only yesterday". Tracy replied.
"Dr Harper you said that your own daughter was in the program and was in Labour
herself? How many children has she delivered so far?"
"Tracy I'm pleased and proud to say I'm now the grandfather to three  granddaughters and two grandsons. My daughter's in Labour with number six"
"Congratulations Dr. Harper we expect to see some photos next time we see you!"

Just as Tracy hung up the phone Richard came into their kitchen and put on the kettle
for some tea and sat down at the kitchen island counter.
"So what did Dr.Harper say when you called to cancel our appointments?"
"Funny thing he was calling me to cancel them himself. He had to "beg off" as he's
become extremely busy with that experiment he's working on in France".
You remember the one he told us about but said we weren't a part of but he wanted
to keep really detailed notes on our being pregnant/pregmant again?"
"What about it? What's happening with it?"
"Well since our appointment that day to confirm our suspisions he's been delivering
babies for almost a week and five of the babies he's delivered so far are his own grandchildren by his daughter Alicia .
Seems that Alicia begged to be one of the women in the Experiment, she and her pilot
husband have tried for years to have a family but she's had a series of miscarriages.
The last one almost killed her. She had a history of failed pregancies"

"So tell me more what did Dr.Harper do for her how did he help her?"
"Dr.Harper and his collegues found a way of helping women who suffered miscarrigaes to have full term pregnancies and deliver healthy babies .
Doctor Harper performed a surgery where they put a mesh around a women's womb
strenghting it and then they implanted fetilized eggs using Alicia's husband's sperm.
Alicia's own egg was fertilized with 6 single sperm all in the same sac"

"Wait Alicia Harper's having six identical feternal septuplets!?'
"That is almost impossible or is it?
"Dr.Harper found a way to make the *impossible* possible!"
"Alicia's in Labour with the last child her last son now."
"I told him we're expecting photos when we see him on March 3rd".

"Okay so since all of us are housebound today what do we suggest we do"?
"Well I'm  going to place a call to the children's teacher's and see if I can get some
of their reading lists and homework I want to see if they could get a "jumpstart" on
the  work they will be missing due to the weather?"

"Good idea,then what do you want to do?"Richard asked between sips of tea.
"How about you and I go into the basement and see what we can find for the babies
I know I have tons of clothes packed away from the first time we went thru this!"

"Let's also have a special dinner and then all settle down for  a movie something
the whole family would love not just us."
"Sounds like a wonderful idea how about "Cheaper by the Dozen?"
"You're kidding "Cheaper by the Dozen" Tracy laughed.
"Nope .Cheaper by the Dozen let's show the children how lucky they are to be living in this day and age. And how they have everything . But show them how things were
like living in that time period with 12 children. I hope that they'll realize that will need their help as soon as their brothers and sister arrive."

"Any preferrance as to what we'll have for dinner tonight?" Richard asked
"How about roast chicken, roasted potatoes,green beans,carrots and biscuts and maybe some popcorn with the movie?"
"Sounds wonderful. What time should we have dinner? how about 6:45PM and the
movie at 7:30PM?"
"Sounds perfect".

For the rest of the day the children studied and played games while Richard caught up
on his much needed rest this second pregmancy was tiring him out.
Tracy rested also and she did some knitting or caught up on letter writting till dinner.

Rachel Storm had the cook put up dinner at 4:30PM and then preparred a high tea for
everyone in the living room.
"Tea everyone come join me "
"Mother this looks wonderful thank you just what I needed'
"Thank you Rachel your grandchildren thank you also". Tracy said pattting her belly.

The children took cups of tea and some cookies and sat down all over the livingroom.
"We're going to see a movie tonight after dinner" Tracy announced
"What's the movie?" Johnathon asked taking a bit of his cookie
"Cheaper by the Dozen" Richard announced
The children broke out into peels of laughter "that's funny Father".
"No that's really the title-it's an old film about a family who's got 12 children but it takes place in the 1900's. We want you to see how things were back in those times".
"And how lucky you are to be living in these times"
