Falcon sat on his bed rubbing his huge, round stomach. Pain rippled through his stomach and he reached for his cell phone. He put in the number of his lover Wolf; the phone rang four times before it was answered, "Hello?"
"Wolf, it's time. I need you here now." Wolf could hear Falcon gasp in pain.
"Calm down Falcon, I am coming; everything will be ok, just breathe and stay calm." He could hear Falcon attempting to breathe through the pain. "I will be there in ten minutes, please for the sake of the babies stay calm." Wolf smiled as he grabbed his coat and ran out to his car,
"I love you Wolf." Falcon said while panting. He had his hand placed protectively over the babies as they kicked.
"I love you too Falcon." He hung up the phone and started to drive to the house he shared with his lover. Falcon continued to rub his stomach with each contraction. As he waited for Wolf, he thought back on what got him into his present situation.
*~*~
Falcon sat on the edge of his bed w/ his hand over his stomach, which was cramping; he felt like he was going to puke. He quickly got off the bed and ran to the bathroom; he ended up losing his breakfast that Wolf had made for him three hours earlier.
Wolf could hear his lover throwing up in the bathroom and went to see what was wrong. He found falcon with his head in the toilet; his body was quivering with every breath he took. He walked up behind falcon and pulled his lover's hair away from his face. "Falcon, are you ok? You have been doing this a lot lately."
"I don't know Wolf. I feel like I am dying or something. I think I need to see a doctor." He leaned into Wolf's arms. "Take me to a doctor Wolf, please."
"Ok falcon, just stay calm, everything will be ok." Wolf picked up Falcon and carried him out to the car. He placed him in the passenger seat and ran into the house to get his keys. He got into the drivers seat and drove to the hospital, he became more and more worried with each moan from Falcon. By the time they arrived to the hospital, Falcon had fallen asleep in his seat. Wolf carried him into the hospital. "I need help; there is something wrong with my boyfriend." An attendant came over with a wheel chair for falcon to be placed in. Wolf placed falcon in the chair and watched as he was wheeled away.
"Will he be ok?" He asked, the nurse that made him fill out paperwork even though he would rather be with his boyfriend. The nurse just nodded at him. He finished the paperwork and waited for the doctor to tell him what is wrong.
Thirty minutes later, the doctor came out, "Mr. Anderson?" Wolf stood and looked at the doctor. "Your boyfriend is fine, he is asleep right now."
"Why was he puking for the past 3 weeks?" Wolf began to twiddle his thumbs.
"Your boyfriend is pregnant. He will need to take it easy now that he is pregnant; we figure he is about 3 months pregnant."
"Can I see him?"
"Of course, follow me." The doctor led Wolf to a room.
He saw his beloved lying under the white sheets; he looked like an angel. Wolf walked over to the side of the bed and took Falcon's hand in his own. He never guessed that they were going to be parents. He began to rub his fingers through Falcon's hair. He smiled as Falcon looked up at him. "You always liked to play with my hair."
"Yeah I did, didn't I? How are you feeling?" Wolf pulled a chair to the side of the bed.
"Better, did they find out what is wrong with me?" Falcon smiled at Wolf.
"Yeah, they did." Falcon looked at him with anticipation. "Falcon, they said you're going to have a baby."
Falcon sat up in the bed. "What? How is that possible? We were being careful. I can't be pregnant. How pregnant am I?"
"The doctor said you are three months pregnant with our baby." Wolf said as he stood and kissed Falcon's forehead. "I promise that I will always be there for you Falcon, we will do this together."
"But I don't want a baby. I am too young for a baby. Can they abort it?"
Wolf looked appalled. "How can you want to kill our baby? I won't let you do that Falcon that baby is half mine and I refuse to let it be killed just because you don't want a baby."
"You try to be in my position Wolf; I am the pregnant one, not you. Do you have any idea how hard it is to be a pregnant man? This is a woman's job, and I don't want to do it. I don't even want this baby." Wolf walked out of the room and leaned against the wall in the hallway. He started to cry.
*~*~
Both men drove home in silence, the doctor gave Falcon vitamins that he had to start taking right away. Once home Falcon ran to their bedroom and lay on the bed crying. Wolf walked into the living room and fell asleep on the couch. Wolf woke the next morning to find Falcon sitting in the kitchen; he was wearing a pair of denim pants and nothing else. Wolf walked over to the counter and got a cup of coffee. "Falcon, I am sorry for what I said yesterday. I should have been nicer to you, I may not understand what you are feeling right now, but I want this baby. We always talked about a baby and now we are going to have one, why not keep it?"
"Wolf, I want a baby too, but not right now, we aren't even engaged yet. We have only been together for 6 months. What do expect from me, to be happy? I can't be happy right now, every morning for the past few weeks I have been puking up every meal, my emotions are running away and I can't handle it." Falcon placed his hand over his still flat stomach.
"Well, there is one thing that I can fix." Wolf turned toward the cabinet and pulled out a small velvet box. He walked over to Falcon and got down on one knee in front of him. He held the box out in front of him. "Falcon, I have been waiting to give you this for the past two months." He opened the box revealing a black engagement ring. "Will you marry me?"
"Oh Wolf." He looked at the ring, "Of course I will marry you." He hugged Wolf as the ring was slipped onto his finger.

Falcon woke at 3:00 and ran to the bathroom to again puke. He didn't even bother to turn on the light because he knew where he was going. He was surprised when Wolf walked over to him and pulled his hair away from his face. He looked up at Wolf and smiled weakly. Once he was finished he rinsed his mouth out with water and brushed his teeth. "Please tell me this ends real soon. I can't take this much longer love." He leaned on Jason as the walked back to the bedroom together.
"You heard the doctor; this should stop within a few weeks, a month at the most. Just think in a matter of 7 months there will be a baby in this house." Wolf said as he helped Falcon back into bed. He walked around the bed and got back on his side. He crawled back under the blankets and cuddled up to Falcon's back. "Don't worry love; things will get better, I am sure of it." They fell asleep again a few seconds later.
~~~~
Falcon woke and began to search for Wolf with his arm before he even opened his eyes. When he could not find him, he opened his eyes and looked around. The room was completely empty and the curtains were closed preventing any light from entering the room, he looked at his bedside clock and saw it was 10:00 A.M. "Shit! I should have been up hours ago." He got out of bed and quickly put on a pair of denim pants and ran downstairs barefoot… He came to a dead stop when he found Wolf in the kitchen with a plate of food waiting for him. "What is this?"
"Well, I called in to your boss and told him you were sick so you have the day off. Then I made you breakfast. I hope that is ok. I figured after last night you would be hungry." Wolf walked over to the cabinet and pulled out the vitamins from the doctor. He shook out one and handed it to Falcon to take with a glass of Orange Juice. Falcon swallowed the pill then sat at the table to have his very late breakfast.
After breakfast, both men walked into the living room and sat on the couch. Falcon lay on the couch with his head on Wolf's lap. This seemed to be he favorite way to lay ever since they learned about the baby. Wolf began to run his fingers through Falcon's hair. "Wolf?" there was a grunt as a response. "I was wondering something. Who do you think the baby will look more like, you or me? Whose eyes will it have? You know what I mean?"
"Yeah I do, I have been thinking the same lately. I also wonder if we are getting a boy or a girl. The anticipation is tearing me in half." Wolf could hear falcon giggling at what he said. "Hey be nice, I know you feel the same way."
"Yeah, I do. But I have never seen you this nervous before. You were always like a brick wall with no emotions, now there is a crack in the wall. I am glad to know that you have feelings. It means that I am not the only one that is really in a bunch about this, but just relax, the doctor said next week we could find out the gender of the baby. She said that is when we should be able to tell. What do you want Wolf, a boy or a girl?"
"Well first I want to make sure the baby is healthy, but I would love to have a son. What do you want?" He placed his hand over Falcon's still flat stomach.
Falcon put his hand over Wolf's. "A daughter would be really nice. I love the little dresses that they wear. They are so cute." He rolled onto his back and looked up at Wolf. "I love you Wolf."
"I love you too Falcon and I love our baby." Wolf smiled at Falcon as his eyes began to droop closed from the onslaught of sleep, he watched his lover fall asleep before lifting Falcon's head from his lap, standing and carrying him to their room. He laid him down gently and joined him. He fell asleep with Falcon in his arms.
~~~
Falcon woke to a note beside him on wolf's pillow.
Falcon, I was called into work early. I didn't want to wake you since you were actually sleeping and not up puking your guts out. I will be home around lunchtime. Try not to do anything that will make you sick while I am gone. I made you bacon and eggs, I put it in the microwave, just heat it and enjoy. Love Wolf
Tears welled up in his eyes at the compassion Wolf felt for him. He got up and took a shower, right after he got out the shower he was puking; sadly, his break from barfing didn't last long. He brushed his teeth and walked down to the kitchen in search of the food Wolf had made him. It was in the microwave as promised; he heated it then took it into the living room to watch TV. Once he was finished he set his plate on the coffee table and lay on the couch with his hand over his stomach. He fell asleep a few minutes later.
~~~~
Wolf came home and found Falcon asleep on the couch; he smiled at the serene look on her lover's face. He placed a kiss onto Falcon's cheek, not meaning to wake him, but that was a lost effort. Falcon sat up quickly and hit Wolf's nose with his chin. Wolf sat on the coffee table holding his nose and it began to bleed. "Oh my god, Wolf! I am so sorry. I didn't mean it, you surprised me."
"The one thing I must remember, don't wake you from a sound sleep, you attack at will." He grabbed a tissue and put it to his nose as it continued to bleed. Falcon saw the blood on Wolf's hand, ran to the bathroom, and shut the door behind him. Wolf could hear him puking. He just sighed sympathetically and cleaned up the mess they both had made. He cleaned up the blood from his nose and then walked into the bathroom to find Falcon still puking. His body was quivering with every breath he took. Once he was done he flushed the toilet and tried to regain his composure, he looked up at Wolf and smiled weakly.
Wolf helped him stand and then led him back to the living room to sit down on the couch. "Why is it called morning sickness if I am sick all day? And how can this be healthy for the baby. I can barely keep down anything I eat. I can say one thing for sure; this better end soon or I will go insane." Falcon said as he leaned against Wolf's shoulder.
"Everything will be ok love, it will end soon; the doctor said so. Once you hit your fourth month this will end." Wolf began to rub his hand over Falcon's back in an attempt to soothe him. Falcon fell asleep again leaning against Wolf.
The time had come for the first ultra sound. Falcon woke at 6:00 that morning even though his appointment was at 12:00. He was too excited to sleep any longer than that. Wolf promised to be home in time to go to the appointment with him. Until the time came, Falcon worked on his book. Which he had been writing for the past year. Falcon worked on the book all day until he heard the front door open. He turned to see Wolf standing there, "What are you doing sitting there in the pants you wore to bed, you need to get changed the appointment in is half an hour," Falcon looked at the clock and saw it was true, he had been working on his book for over 5 hours.
"Shit, I didn't even eat anything since this morning." He stood up and stretched. That was when Wolf noticed the slight bump to Falcon's stomach. He looked shocked. "What is it, is something wrong?" He began to look himself over before looking back at Wolf. "What?"
Wolf walked over to him and led him to a mirror. "Look, you're starting to show." Falcon looked at himself in the mirror from the front then from the side. He could clearly see the slight bump to his stomach that Wolf was so shocked about. He put his hand over the small bump and smiled. "Oh my god, this is really starting to come true isn't it. We are having a baby." He smiled at Wolf and hugged him.
"Get dressed; I am going to go make something for you to eat before we go." Wolf said as he rubbed the small bump. He turned and walked away.
Falcon continued to look himself in the mirror for five minutes before going into their bedroom and walking to the closet. He grabbed black denim pants and a black t-shirt. He noticed that as he went to button his pants they were starting to become snug. He smiled and again placed a hand over his stomach. After a few minutes, he pulled the shirt over his head on put on socks before walking downstairs.
He had just gotten downstairs and ran into Wolf who was about to call him down to come eat. "Why the all black attire? Are we trying to scare the doctor or something?" Falcon just laughed and walked past him. "I made you a sandwich it is sitting on the table. I am going to get out of this suit; I need to feel relaxed, not nervous."
Falcon watched Wolf walk away before returning his hand to his belly and rubbing it. He did not even notice Wolf was watching him until Wolf cleared his throat to get his attention. "You can no longer say you aren't happy about the baby. I have been watching you rub your stomach for the past 15 minutes. Now get your shoes on we have to go or we will be late."
"Fine." He walked into the foyer and grabbed his black boots. He looked up when Wolf began to laugh. "What? I won't be able to wear these pretty soon, I am going to wear them while I can."
"Whatever, but you are definitely going to scare the doctor in that outfit, but that is not important. We have to go." He grabbed his keys off the table and lead Falcon out the door as he began to again play with his stomach. "Enough already, how are you going to keep up your reputation as a bad boy if you are playing with your stomach?" Falcon just glared at him.
~~~~
Falcon and Wolf sat in the waiting room for what seemed like hours before a nurse led them to a room. Falcon sat on the table while Wolf stood next to him. The doctor entered the room five minutes later. "Hello Mr. Sangria." She nodded towards Wolf. "Mr. Anderson." She turned her attention back to Falcon. "Well, Mr. Sangria how are we feeling today?"
"First off, you can call me Falcon. And I am fine, thank god, the morning sickness finally ended. I was afraid to eat anything because I would puke it up 3o minutes later." He put his hand over the small bump of his stomach.
"I am glad to hear that. I can see you are starting to show. If you don't mind, can you lay back and we will do your first ultrasound." Falcon laid back and lifted his shirt to his chest. "This will be a little cold." The doctor warned before she squirted a clear gel onto his stomach. Falcon shivered under the gel as the machine was turned on. The doctor took the wand, placed it over Falcon's stomach, and moved it around. There were a few minutes of silence as the doctor studied the screen, she turned up the volume of the machine and two heartbeats could be heard very clearly.
"Oh my god, there are two babies aren't there?" Wolf looked at the screen and saw two hearts beating.
"Two babies? How can you tell?" Falcon asked as he looked for what Wolf was seeing on the screen.
"Look Falcon that is one heart and that is the other." Wolf smiled at Falcon as he pointed out the hearts. The doctor looked at Wolf with surprise as he pointed out everything to his lover. "My sister had twins a few years back and was always showing me her ultrasound pictures." He blushed and held onto Falcon's hand.
"Ah, well, you are right Mr. Anderson; your fiancée is having twins. That is two hearts you are hearing." Falcon looked at the monitor and smiled. "Do you want to know the gender of the babies?" Falcon and Wolf looked at each other for a minute and then nodded. She moved the wand to one side of his stomach. "Ok, first we have a little girl over here and over here, we have a little boy." The doctor handed Falcon a tissue to clean off his stomach. She made sure they had no questions and left them in peace.
"Oh my god, a boy and a girl. We must be really lucky or in real trouble." Wolf sat next to Falcon on the table. "How are you feeling love?"
All he could say was, "We are having twins." He looked at Wolf and smiled. "We are having twins. A little boy and a little girl, we need to think of names for them. We need to paint the nursery. We need to buy stuff for the nursery."
"Babe, calm down. We don't need you to get over excited while you are pregnant. Deep breathes and relax." he got Falcon to relax enough so he could distract him. "Where do you want to go for lunch?"
"I want mom's cooking. I have always hated it and now I am craving her old meatloaf. And you know we never even told her I was pregnant." Falcon said as he got off the table and walked towards the door. Wolf followed behind him and they walked out to the car. Falcon pulled a cell phone out of his pocket and called his mother. "Mom? Hi, it's Falcon. Yeah I am fine. Hey, Wolf and I are coming over to visit. Do you think you can make a meatloaf? Cool, I will see you tonight. Ok mom, I love you too, I will, bye." He put the phone away and looked at Wolf. "She said we can come over for dinner. How about now we go to your parents' house for a little while?"
"Ok." they got into the car and arrived at the Anderson home 15 minutes later. Falcon got out first and walked to the door. He opened the door and walked in. "Maureen? You home?" He smiled as Maureen walked into the foyer where he could see her. He walked to her and hugged her. "I have wonderful news for you Maureen."
She hugged him in return. She looked down at his stomach because she could feel it pushing against hers. "Hey, you started showing, I am hoping the morning sickness ended?"
"Yeah, but I wanted to tell you something." He looked back at Wolf as he closed the door. "We just got back from our first ultra sound and we learned the gender of the baby." Maureen looked between Falcon and Wolf. "We are having a boy and a girl."
"Wait, you're having twins? Oh honey congratulations!" She hugged him again. Then she hugged her son. "Congratulations Wolf. You better be really nice to Falcon."
"He is Maureen. He was the first to notice I was showing actually. He pointed it out this morning." He lifted his shirt a little and turned to the side showing the slight bump to his stomach. "I still can't believe there are two of them in there. The doctor said that is why I am showing now, cause of the two of them." He placed a hand over the bump.
"Well, what can I get you to eat? You name it and I will make it." Maureen smiled at her son and son in law. She never would have guessed that she would be a grandmother so soon.
"Well, I could really go for Philly Cheese steak." He said as he rubbed his stomach.
"Alright, sit down and I will make it." Maureen smiled and walked back to the kitchen.
Falcon sat on the couch as he watched Wolf walk around the room. "Oh sit down already. You are making me nervous." Wolf sighed and sat on the couch next to Falcon. Falcon lied on his back on the couch and put his head on Wolf's lap. Wolf put his hand over Falcon's stomach and smiled. "Who would have guessed that we would be having two babies? We are lucky Wolf, from what you said earlier I am guessing that twins run in your family, seeing as you have a twin sister and she had twins as well."
"Yeah, I guess you're right. I am sorry about that love." He rubbed Falcon's stomach. Falcon began to giggle from the sensation that it caused. "What is the matter, is this actually enjoyable to you?" Falcon giggled his response. "I will have to remember this for later."
"You are so cruel, but that is why I love you." He reached his hand up and cupped Wolf's cheek in his palm. "I am glad that we are having the twins. I will admit that until I saw their hearts beating today I was not sure how I felt, but now I am glad that we are doing this together. You are the only man I would like to have as the father to my babies." He sat up and hugged Wolf. Maureen walked in and just smiled. He noticed Maureen once he had let go of Wolf. "Hey Maureen, how much did you hear?"
"Enough to know that my son is lucky to be with you." She walked over and kissed Falcon and Wolf before heading back to the kitchen.
~~
After spending most of the day with Maureen Falcon and Wolf departed and headed over to the house of Falcon's mother. Falcon remembered that his mom always kept the house locked. He pulled out his keys and unlocked the door. He walked into the kitchen to find his mom elbow deep in soapy water. He walked behind her, wrapped his arms around her, and kissed her cheek. "Hi mom. How have you been?"
Althea turned around and hugged her son. "Falcon? I have missed you." She looked him over. "Are you eating a ton of junk lately, look at you, you're gaining weight."
"Mom I am not gaining weight cause of junk food." He looked at Wolf and sighed. "Mom, I am four months pregnant with twins."
"What! Are you serious?" Falcon nodded as a tear came to his eye. "I am going to be a grandma. Oh my god, this is spectacular. Do you know the genders yet?" She placed her hand over her son's stomach.
"Yeah, we found out right before we called you. I am having a boy and a girl." He laughed as Althea pulled him and Wolf in for a hug, "Mom, be gentle. I don't want to hurt the babies."
"So they are the reason you requested my meatloaf, you never liked it before. If I remember, when you were younger you told me that people could use it as hockey pucks." Falcon blushed at the memory.
"Sorry mom. Can you forgive me?" He asked as Wolf walked over and hugged him. "I was just young and stupid."
"Well, since you are giving me grandchildren I can forgive you. How are they anyhow?" Althea asked as she walked towards the kitchen to check on dinner.
"The doctor said they are very healthy. But mom, how did you stand the morning sickness when you were pregnant with me? I could barely stand it and I was so afraid that I was not getting enough nourishment for me and the baby, well babies."
"You understand that it is something you can't change. And actually I never got morning sickness." Falcon glared at her. "What? I never did."
"Lucky you." After dinner, they were getting ready to go. Althea walked back to them with a huge bag. "What is that?" Falcon opened the bag and was shocked to see things from when he was younger.
"I figured you could use a few things for your son. I kept everything from when you were a baby until you were 13. I figured you could use it now. I am sorry that I don't have anything for a daughter. And worse yet I don't have a crib I can donate either. I had to sell it a few years back.
"That is ok Althea, I know my sister can help us out and we are going to buy a few things anyway. We are converting one of the guest bedrooms into a nursery. Thank you so much for your help Althea." Wolf said as he smiled at Falcon who was busy reliving old memories. "Well, we better get going, I need to get those three to sleep, we have had a really busy day." Althea just nodded and hugged both of them before Wolf closed the bag and carried it out to the car with Falcon not far behind him.

Wolf woke to find Falcon sleeping with his head over his chest and a hand over their babies. It was the sweetest sight he had ever seen, he sighed happily, as he began to play with Falcon's hair. He felt Falcon stretch under his arm. Falcon looked up at him and smiled. "Hey Wolf, how long have u been up?" Wolf just shrugged. "I didn't wake you did I?"
"No, you didn't I woke a while ago. I just wanted to stay like this a little longer. How are you feeling?" He smiled at Falcon; he stopped playing with Falcon's hair and put his hand over their babies.
"Actually, I am kind of hungry." He sat up and leaned against the headboard. "Who would have guessed that we would be having twins Wolf? And a boy and a girl. I feel like we are blessed or something." He began to rub the small bump housing their babies.
"Go take a bath, by the time you are done I will have breakfast on the table ok." Falcon nodded and slid off the bed towards the bathroom. Wolf waited until he heard the water running to go downstairs. Today was special; it was Falcon's birthday. He went into the closet of their bedroom and grabbed a bag he hid away. Inside was something for Falcon and something for the babies. He got Falcon a necklace with a silver cross on it and for the babies he got the outfits he hoped to bring them home in.
For their daughter he got a pink dress with roses on it and for their son a blue outfit with bears on it. He carried the bag downstairs and set it in Falcon's chair. He began to make breakfast for him and Falcon. He had just set the pancakes and bacon on the table when he heard Falcon walking around upstairs. He smiled and set down Falcon's plate. He heard Falcon walk down the steps, turned back to the stove, and smiled.
Falcon walked to his chair and was surprised to see a bag sitting there. There was a tag on it saying For Falcon and our babies. It was written in Wolf's delicate script. He looked into the bag and first pulled out the box containing the necklace. He opened it and was shocked. It was the necklace he had pointed out to Wolf a few weeks ago. He reached into the bag again and pulled out the little dress. He smiled and wiped a stray tear from his eye. Lastly was the outfit for their son. He was so surprised at the gifts from Wolf. He walked over to Wolf and put his arms around him. "Thank you so much Wolf, I love all of it."
"What did I do? I have been cooking breakfast ever since you went in to take you bath." He turned in Falcon's arms and rested his forehead against Falcon's. "Happy birthday love. I am glad it is a happy one." His hand moved to Falcon's stomach. "Do you like the clothes for the babies? I bought them last week, I figured it was perfect and they do need an outfit for their drive home."
Falcon just hugged Wolf and began to cry. "Falcon, it's ok. There is no need to cry." He smiled as he rubbed Falcon's back. "Please stop crying love. Everything is ok; I can take the stuff back if you want." He pushed Falcon back enough that he could wipe away his lover's tears.
"No, don't take it back; I love it, all of it." He replied as he tried to stop crying. Wolf looked at him sympathetically. "I am just so happy, I mean it finally hit home that I was pregnant when I started showing and we had the ultra sound that showed our babies. And that was only a few days ago. I mean, I am four months pregnant and we are having twins. I am just so happy." He hugged Wolf as he continued to cry. Wolf led him over to the table and helped Falcon sit down. He got the necklace out of the bag and put it on Falcon. Flacon grabbed it with his hand and smiled. He turned in the chair and put his arms around Wolf's neck. He pulled Wolf down to his level and kissed him.
Wolf took Falcon out to see a movie. They watched a horror movie, the whole time Falcon was holding Wolf's hand while his other hand rested on his stomach. He could swear at moment when the movie got a really scary part the twins seemed to move as if they sensed their mother's anxiety. He would just smile and rub his stomach until they calmed down.
The movie ended and they went out to lunch. Falcon must have grossed out the man at the counter when he ordered a hoagie with bologna, Munster cheese and pickles with mayo. The man just shook his head and made the sandwich. Falcon just looked at Wolf and smiled. It was as if he knew Wolf was looking at the man disapprovingly. Once their sandwiches were made, they went and sat in a booth by the door. "How is your birthday going Falcon? Are you and the babies ok?"
"Yeah we are fine. I am just so happy. Who would have guessed that we are going to be parents to twins? This may be one of the best days 0f my life." He looked down at his stomach and smiled.
Wolf scooted over until he was sitting next to Falcon. He pulled Falcon into his arms and hugged him. "What are the other days that are the best?" He put his hand over Falcon's stomach.
"Well, there is the day I met you, the day that I moved in with you, and today. The other days haven't come yet, but I know they will." Wolf just looked at him with wonder. "There is going to be the day we get married and the day we hold our babies." Falcon smiled at Wolf before kissing him.
"Those are the best days aren't they?" He smiled and looked at his watch. "We better head home; you have had enough excitement for today." He scooted across the booth until he was out of it and standing. He out his hand out for Falcon to grab. "Come on, let's go." He helped Falcon up and walked him back to the car.
Wolf smiled as he looked over at Falcon who had fallen asleep. They were halfway home; Falcon had fallen asleep five minutes after he started to drive home. Once he got home he unhooked Falcon's seatbelt, leaned across the center console, and kissed Falcon on the lips. Falcon lifted his hand to cup Wolf's cheek while he returned the kiss. He opened his eyes as Wolf pulled away. Falcon opened his eyes and looked at his lover. "Oh, why did you stop the kiss, I love it."
"Because we are home. I will kiss you more later that is part of your birthday surprise for later tonight." Falcon blushed when he understood what Wolf meant. "Now come on, let's get you inside so you can get back to your nap." Wolf got out of the car and walked around to the passenger's side. He opened the door, leaned into the car, and picked Falcon up carrying him back to the house.
Falcon began to laugh. "Wolf, what are you doing? Put me down, I can walk on my own."
"I know you can walk, but I want to carry you. You have been on your feet all day. I want to pamper you." He nuzzled Falcon's neck. "Now let me have my fun." Wolf carried him to the door, opened the door without even setting Falcon down and walked in. He joined a chorus of their family in friends in yelling surprise.
Falcon flinched and tried to get away but couldn't because Wolf held him tighter. "What is going on here? Wolf put me down, I am fine."
Wolf set Falcon back on his feet and put his arm around Falcon's waist. "Well, my parents, your mom, and I decided to throw you a birthday party. We figured that you and the babies needed to have a little fun. This is a birthday party/baby shower. And we did it all just for you."
"Really? You did all this for me? I can't believe this. You are all so kind. I would never believe that this was all for me." Falcon began to cry.
Maureen walked forward and hugged Falcon. "Hey calm down, we did all this for you and the babies. Now stop crying, it is ok." Falcon smiled as Maureen handed him a tissue to dry his eyes.
His smile widened when althea walked forward. "Falcon, calm down son." She pulled me into her warm embrace. "Now, how about we get this party started? From what I hear there is a cake in the kitchen that would melt in your mouth." She smiled at me and winked. I guessed that mom and Maureen made it. Get those two together to cook and you end up with food that should be against the law.
I dabbed the last of the tears from my eyes. "This is really very sweet; I want to thank all of you ahead of time for this." He smiled as his mom, Maureen and Wolf hugged him together.
The party went on for hours. When everyone finally left there was enough baby items to fill 3 nurseries. Everyone got two gifts for Falcon, one for him and the other he could use for the babies. He guessed that Wolf told people he liked the little dresses since he now had a huge pile of them. And the pile of clothes for his son was just as massive. He helped Wolf carry some of the clothes into the nursery to be put in the closet. Both men walked back to the living room and sat on the couch. They fell asleep in each other's arms a few minutes later.

When Falcon woke Wolf had his arms wrapped around him protectively. He loved the attention, but he felt the need to go far a walk in the back yard. He got Wolf to let go without even waking him. He walked to the foyer and put on his beloved black boots that would soon be put in the closet till after the twins were born. He grabbed his black leather jacket and put his phone in his pocket. He looked back at Wolf sleeping peacefully one more time before walking out the door.
He stepped out into the night air and took a deep breath. He began to walk the path that he and Wolf had been using for years to go around the three acre back yard. He smiled as he felt the twins moving. He placed his hand on his stomach and continued on his journey. He got back towards the tree line when he recognized something that he and Wolf had made years before they started dating.
~~~~
Wolf woke to find Falcon was gone, he got up and went to their bedroom thinking he went to bed for the night. He walked into the room and found it empty; he searched the entire house and got worried because he could not find his lover anywhere. He grabbed his phone and frantically put in Falcon's number. He hit send and put the phone to his ear. He frowned when it went directly to voicemail. He grabbed his sneakers, coat, and keys before running outside.
He decided to search the property first. He walked the path that leads around the property. He got to the tree line when he noticed something in the woods. He walked back towards it. He was surprised to find the old fort that he and Falcon had built years ago, he was even happier to see Falcon sitting in the hammock they had put back there.
He ran to Falcon and hugged him; in his happiness he accidentally tipped the hammock. He and Falcon started to fall, he was afraid Falcon would injure the babies when he fell. He landed on his back with Falcon lying on him also on his back. He let out a sigh of relief that Falcon had not landed on his stomach. He sat up with Falcon sitting in his lap laughing.
He put his hand over Falcon's stomach in worry. "Did you get hurt, are the babies ok?" He looked Falcon over for any injury.
"Wolf relax, the babies and I are fine. Nothing bad happened. I think they liked it anyway, they are kicking." He said through his laughter. He stood and helped Wolf to his feet before they both sat down on the hammock.
"What are you doing out here? I was worried, I called your phone but it went straight to your voicemail. You really scared me." He hugged Falcon to his chest. "Never do that again."
Falcon was surprised to see tears running down Wolf's cheeks. He wiped them away. "Relax I am fine. I just need to get some air, so I came out her to walk around the property. I saw the fort and had to come back here. I completely forgot about this place. I remember it took us 3 months to finish building this. We were always sneaking wood and things back here so we could build it. Luckily no one ever caught us; we used to meet back here every day."
"Yeah, it was harder to sneak the hammock back here. I remember we had to buy one and bring it back here and night because it was so heavy. If we had brought it out here in the day we would have definitely been caught." Wolf lay back on the hammock and sighed. Falcon laud down next to Wolf and smiled as he remembered everything they did. When they built the fort there was no house on the property yet. It was just woods.
At the time they were both only 16. The house came five years later. Right after the house was put up for sale Wolf bought it and moved out of his parent's house. That was all ten years ago. Now they were 26 and going to have twins. They never would have guessed that things would turn out like they did.
"Hey Wolf?" Wolf looked at him with a hmm. "Now that we know the gender of our babies we need to start to think of names. We can't just call them boy and girl can we?"
Wolf laughed, "No, we can't. I have an idea, both of us will write down names we like and then we will choose from those ok?" Falcon nodded. Wolf began to rock the hammock gently back and forth. They stayed outside for thirty minutes before walking back to the house.
~~~~
Wolf and Falcon spent the whole day looking up baby names on the computer and in books that people had given Falcon for his birthday. Falcon had written down eleven names for each gender and so had Wolf. After that they cut the list down to two for each gender so they had four names all together. All they had left was Xavier and Blade for boy names and Crimson and Aurora for girls.
They set the list aside and would choose later. Falcon was sitting on the couch rubbing his stomach while waiting for Wolf to come back from the store when the phone rang. "Hello? Yes this is Falcon. Oh my god, I will be right there." He hung up the phone and ran out to his car.
He reached the hospital ten minutes later. He walked up to the nurses station and the nurse told him that Wolf was in room 2D. He walked as fast as he could; he walked in to see a doctor hovering over Wolf. "What happened to him?"
The doctor turned and looked at him. "I am guessing you are Falcon." He nodded. "He kept calling your name until he passed out. You fiancée was in a car accident." Falcon walked over to the side of the bed and took Wolf's hand in his. "He will be ok, he was lucky. He just got that cut on his head. We want to keep him overnight just to be safe. We expect him to wake soon, you can stay here as long as you like."
Falcon pulled a chair up to the side of the bed. He never would have guessed that they would have Switched places from the way thing were just last month. He smiled when Wolf opened his eyes. Wolf looked at Falcon, "Falcon, how did you get here?"
"My car, the hospital called and said you were hurt. They said you got off lucky though, you only have that cut to your head. I was so scared." he leaned forward and kissed Wolf's head. "I am so glad you are ok."
Wolf attempted to sit up, but was stopped by the dizziness and Falcon's hand on his chest. "I think I broke the car love." Falcon just smiled as he hugged Wolf. "You have no idea how happy I am that you didn't come with me this time. You and the babies could have been seriously hurt. I was passing Shades of Death road and a car just came and t-boned the car from the right side. If you were in the car, I could have lost you and our babies."
"Hey, that didn't happen so please calm down. We don't need you to get over excited right now. Just relax; you should be able to come home soon. But they want to keep you overnight to make sure you are ok. I don't plan on leaving your side. I am staying here until you are released." Falcon pulled his phone out of his pocket as it started to ring. "Now that is a weird coincidence, it's your mom. Hello Maureen. I am at the hospital. Wolf got into a car accident, but he is fine now. Ok, bye." He hung up the phone and put it is his pocket. "Be prepared, your parents are coming. Your mom wants to make sure you are still living I guess."

After being in the hospital for the day and a half Wolf began to miss his home. He was happy when he was finally released to go home. Falcon drove them home in his car. They were told that Wolf's car was beyond repair. Both men were happy all they lost was the car. They walked to the house together holding hands. Once in the house falcon pointed to the couch. "Sit down, I will be right back.
Wolf watched his lover walk towards the kitchen; he figured Falcon was getting him leftovers from a few nights ago. But he was surprised when he began to smell food being cooked. He saw Falcon leaning over the stove making bacon and eggs. He walked over to Falcon and put his arms around his waist. "Why did you not tell me you could cook?"
Falcon leaned into Wolf's embrace. "Because you were always cooking so I decided to let you have your fun. And you are supposed to take it easy so sit down." Wolf kissed falcons cheek before walking to the table and sitting down. A few minutes later Falcon set the plate in front of Wolf and sat across from him with his own plate. He noticed Wolf was barely touching his food. "What is wrong babe?"
"Nothing, I just have a headache. The doctor said to expect them, but I didn't think they would be this bad. I feel like someone put a drill to my skull." He said sounding clearly vulnerable.
"Well, eat and then we can go take a nap ok. You need to eat something." He smiled as Wolf began to eat his food. They finished their late breakfast, put the dishes in the dishwasher and walked to the bedroom. "Are you feeling any better love?" He asked as he rubbed Wolf's back affectionately.
"Not really, but I will survive. Can you get my the Tylenol out of the cabinet?" Falcon nodded and walked into the bathroom. He came back into the room a few seconds later with the bottle in hand. He handed it to Wolf and sat on the edge of the bed. He looked at Wolf with worry and sincerity. "I will be ok, don't worry. They would not have released me if I was not ok." He shook two pills into his hand and downed them with a glass of water. "I am sad that the car is beyond repair though. My dad gave me that car when I turned 16. I loved that car."
Falcon put his hand on Wolf's shoulder and pushed back gently encouraging him to lie down. Wolf sighed and laid back as Falcon got into bed next to him. Wolf pulled Falcon close to him and fell asleep.
~~~~
Wolf woke 4 hours later to find Falcon leaning against the headboard reading a book. He made sure Falcon didn't notice he was awake. He gently moved across the bed until he was resting his head on Falcon's lap and his hand was over their babies who now seemed to be resting. Falcon set the book down and looked at Wolf. "How are you feeling, the headache is gone I hope?"
"Yeah, I guess I just needed some sleep, you know how hard it is to sleep on a hospital bed. They have no give to them at all." He began to draw circles on Falcon's stomach hoping to wake the babies so he could feel them move. "You know Falcon I have decided something. I think I know what to name the babies. While I was in the hospital, I thought it over. I wanted to give our babies a name that would make it hard for people to forget. And two specific names from our lists came to mind. I want our son to be named Blade and our daughter to be named Crimson."
Falcon looked surprised. "Those are the names I picked out. But what about the ones you chose, they are just as unique."
Wolf shook his head no. "You can go into any school and call out the name Xavier or Aurora and have a line of kids in front of you. The names you chose are perfect. And with those names, they get to inherit their mother's reputation." Falcon just smiled and nodded. He was close to tears but quickly thought of something else so he wouldn't cry.
~~~~
The rest of the day went without any problems. Wolf smiled when Falcon fell asleep on the couch. He quietly put on his sneakers and walked outside to the tree line. He walked back to the fort he and Falcon had built all those years ago. He unhooked the fabric on the hammock from the metal frame; he rolled it up and set it aside. He started to take apart the frame and set the pieces aside. He picked everything up and carried it back to the house. He put it back together before walking back to the house.
He smiled when he saw Falcon still asleep on the couch. He put a blanket over Falcon before picking him up and cradling him to his chest. He slowly walked down the stairs and out to the backyard. He sat in the hammock and as gently as possible laid himself and Falcon in the hammock. He began to slowly rock the hammock back and forth with his foot.
He laid there for what seemed like hours with Falcon sleeping peacefully in his arms. Falcon groaned and attempted to sit up but wolf held him down. "No, don't move." Falcon complied and relaxed into Wolf.
He opened his eyes and looked around noticing that he was outside. "Wolf? When are we?" that was when he noticed the rhythmic movement of the hammock swinging back and forth. He rolled onto his side careful not to flip the hammock. "You got the hammock from the woods. That is so sweet." He kissed Wolf and wrapped his arms around him. "I love you Wolf." He smiled and cuddled closer to his lover.

Wolf sat on the couch watching Flicka that he and Falcon had bought a few days before. Falcon came over with a bowl of popcorn and set it on the table in front of them. He laid on the couch and put his head on Wolf's lap. He had his hand over their babies. He noticed that the babies had begun to move more the past three weeks. His stomach was also bigger. It was very clear that he was pregnant now and he was only 4 ½ months pregnant.
He always used the names for the babies whenever he talked about them to Wolf or their parents. He laid in his favorite position on the couch with his head on Wolf's lap. He smiled as Wolf began to play with his hair. He smile widened as Wolf began to rub his stomach. He let out a sensual groan because of the feeling the slight touch caused. "You know, I totally forgot that rubbing your stomach felt that good to you. I think I could use that to my advantage." He sat Falcon up before standing and carrying him to their bedroom.
"Now, if memory serves doing this…" Wolf drew a lazy circle on Falcon's stomach with his finger. "Make you happy. I wonder what can happen if I do that while we have a little fun." Wolf smiled evilly as Falcon giggled.
~~~~
Falcon and Wolf lay on the bed naked. "That was great. I never would have guessed that I would have such a reaction just from your rubbing my stomach. And I think the twins liked it too. They are sleeping." He rubbed his stomach gently not wanting to wake the twins.
"Well, we may have to do that more often then." Wolf said as he put his hand over their children. "Just think love, after they are born they will be controlling our lives. Our every moment will be for them. We will have people that need us." He pulled Falcon into his embrace.
"Yeah, but it will be worth it to watch them grow up into respectable adults. And no matter what happens we will all be happy together." He smiled as Wolf began to kiss his neck. "Hey, we have had enough fun for now. But I do have an idea, how about we go take a long, hot bath and after that, we can see you mom and dad. Your dad should be back from his business trip now right?" Falcon asked as Wolf played with his hair.
"Yeah, I think so. I wonder if mom told him about Blade and Crimson yet." Wolf stood and carried Falcon to the bathroom. He set him on the counter and turned on the water for the bath. "All I know is that I am gonna take care of you and our babies as if the world depended on it." He picked Falcon up again and sat with him in the tub. He set Falcon between his legs and began to clean his stomach with a washcloth as Falcon fell asleep leaning against him.
~~~~
Falcon was home alone; he was reading a book on his bed. It really helped him and the babies relax. He was surprised when he heard the front door bang open. He knew already it wasn't Wolf. He had no reason to bang open the door like that. He got scared when he heard things being thrown around in every room. Then the sound came towards the bedroom. The door flew open and a man wearing black pants and red t-shirt walked in. Falcon cringed as he tried to get away. "How lucky I am, I can end everything right now. And there is no one here to protect you. I wonder what Wolf will say when he comes home finding you and his child dead."
Falcon put his hand over his stomach protectively. "No, please don't hurt them. I will do anything, just don't hurt my babies." Falcon begged and pleaded but nothing seemed to phase the man. The man walked over to the bed, grabbed Falcon by his hair and pulled it forcing Falcon to arch back to ease the pain. He never moved his hands from his stomach. "Please stop, I will do anything I swear."
"Sorry, that isn't good enough for me." He pulled Falcon's hair and smiled as Falcon fell to the floor. Falcon tried to roll so he wouldn't fall on his stomach. He fell onto his side. "Come on now, don't ruin the fun. You are much harder to hurt than it was to hurt Wolf. Sadly all he got was a cut to his head." Falcon looked shocked; he was looking at the man that had caused the car accident 2 weeks ago. "What? You think I crashed into him? No way, I would have been caught. I had a friend do it for me. The guy may be in jail but it was worth it."
The man walked over to Falcon and went to kick his stomach. Falcon rolled to his other side just in time for the man to kick his back. "Stop moving already! Just let me do what I came here to do!" The man picked Falcon up and threw him into the wall, and he made sure Falcon's stomach hit the wall. "Oh, what a shame. You ran into a wall." He said in mock sympathy. "Wolf doesn't deserve you. He was better with me!" the man banged Falcon's head against the wall.
"TOMAS LET HIM GO!" Wolf yelled at the man. Tomas just shook his head no. "I mean it Tomas. Let him go right now." His last word came out as a growl. He saw the way Tomas had Falcon pushed against the wall. His first thought when he walked into the room was Falcon and his children. When he recognized Tomas, he became furious.
Tomas was the man Wolf was dating before he met Falcon. He left Tomas two months before he met Falcon because Tomas was being controlling and obsessive. He had heard the noises coming from upstairs. He heard everything Tomas had said about the accident and about what he planned on doing to Falcon and his children. "Why should I Wolf. We should have been together, but you left me and went to this." He pulled Falcon away from the wall and pushed him into it again. This time Falcon knew what was coming and put his hands over his stomach in an attempt to protect his babies from any further harm.
Wolf cringed as Falcon was pushed into the wall with enough force that his children were probably dead. Tears came to his eyes and he let his anger show. He walked up to Tomas and punched him so hard he fell the floor. Wolf caught Falcon as he fell back. He looked at Falcon's stomach with fear. "Oh Falcon, I am so sorry. This is my fault." He looked at Tomas when he groaned and attempted to stand. He laid Falcon on the floor and walked over to Tomas. He punched him again sending him into the wall. "You bastard! I cannot believe you would stoop so low to attack my fiancée and my babies. Now they are probably dead because of you." He walked over to the bedside table and pulled out a pair of handcuffs. He put them on Tomas literally binding him to the door of the bathroom.
He walked back to Falcon with tears streaming down his face. He called 911 requesting an ambulance and the police to take Tomas away. He cradled Falcon in his arms as he waited for the ambulance to show up. He opened Falcon's white dress shirt to assess the damage. Falcon's stomach was completely bruised. Tomas had intended for this to happen. He wanted Wolf to suffer. Falcon groaned and his eyes began to close. "No Falcon, stay awake. You need to stay awake. Please stay awake love." He put a hand on Falcon's stomach he cried when Falcon winced in pain.
He looked up when he heard the police knocking on the door. "We're upstairs!" he yelled, the police came up first and saw Wolf cradling Falcon in his arms. They yelled down for the EMT's to hurry up. They asked what happened and he explained everything to them. He cried as he watched the EMT's put Falcon in the ambulance. One of the cops offered him a ride to the hospital because he was too disoriented to drive. "No, I am going with Falcon. But thank you for the offer." He climbed into the ambulance and grabbed Falcon's hand.

The ambulance arrived at the hospital 5 minutes later. Wolf stayed by Falcon's side the entire time. He refused to leave him; he needed to know that his fiancée and babies would live. He followed along side them until they got to the examination room. They made Wolf wait outside. He sat in the waiting area for 10 minutes before he heard the clicking of heals and boots. He looked over to see his mom; Althea and his father Daniel coming toward him.
"Wolf what happened? David came over and said you were here, but he wouldn't tell us what happened. Is everything ok?" Maureen asked with worry.
"No mom, it's not ok." He went into his parents arms and cried. They finally got him calmed down enough to speak. "You remember Tomas right?" His parents nodded. "Well, I came home to find Tomas attacking Falcon. He shoved him into the wall. He hurt Falcon bad; I won't be surprised if the babies are dead. The only way I could get Tomas to let him go was to hit him. Falcon fell back into my arms. He shoved him into the wall so many times that his stomach is bruised.
And when I touched it to see if I could feel the babies he groaned in pain." His parents and Althea hugged him telling him it wasn't his fault. He continued to cry again as he remembered what happened. "The cops took him away. This was all to get back at me for leaving him, he even caused the car accident. And now I might lose everything that I held close to my heart."
He looked up as a doctor walked out to them. "Mr. Anderson?" Wolf raised his hand. He was too hysterical to talk. "Your fiancée is fine, but he took a lot of damage to his stomach."
"My babies are dead aren't they?" He asked through his tears.
"Actually, no they're not. We don't know how it happened, but your babies sustained no injury at all. They are perfectly fine, but right now Falcon is unconscious. The doctor said as he looked at everyone.
"Can I see him?" The doctor nodded, he led Wolf into the room they had Falcon in. Wolf saw Falcon and broke down crying again. "Oh Falcon. You need to come back love. I need you; our parents are in the waiting room. Your mom says that she orders you to wake up. Our babies need you to wake up. I can't go on without you." He sat in a chair next to the bed. He grabbed Falcon's hand and put it in his own. Falcon was pale.
He could see Falcon's stomach under the sheet. He gently put his hand over Falcon's stomach and smiled when he felt the babies kick. "Oh, my babies. Your mommy took all the injury and you didn't get hurt how is that possible. Your mommy tried to protect you from a person from my past that wanted to ruin my life. If I hadn't gotten there when I did, he might have succeeded. I am so sorry." He put his head over Falcon's hand and cried. "I am sorry."
Wolf looked up when he heard Falcon groan. "Falcon! You're awake." He hugged Falcon gently trying not to hurt him.
"Wolf? Are the babies ok?"
"Can't you feel them moving love?" Wolf asked with compassion.
"No, I just feel pain all over. When did you show up? I don't remember much, I just remember him throwing me into the wall. Everything after that is missing." He groaned as he put his hand on his stomach.
"Take it easy. The babies are fine; they didn't get hurt at all. But you got hurt pretty bad. I saw what Tomas did to you; I thought we would lose the babies for sure. You stomach is completely bruised and your back and chest are the same way. You really scared me. Our parents are here, they are in the waiting room.
You finally get to meet my dad and you're in the hospital again. That seems to happen a lot. The last time you were supposed to meet him, we learned about the babies. And now you can meet him again and you're in the hospital because of me." He ran his hand through Falcon's hair.
"I will be ok, don't cry anymore. As long as the babies are ok then I am fine. I am in so much pain; I can't feel anything. I can see you holding my hand, but I can't feel it." He began to cry.
"Ok, I will get the doctor and see if we can get rid of the pain." Wolf left and returned a few minutes later with the doctor. He gave Falcon a shot and said the pain should go away in the matter of a few minutes and walked out saying he would send in our parents. "Do you feel better now?"
Falcon nodded. "I can feel the babies they are ok. Please tell me that man is in jail." He said as he rubbed his stomach.
"He is; I am really glad we had the handcuffs. After I got him away from you, I used them to handcuff him to the door. I surprised the cops when they tried to take him away. They're keys didn't open the cuffs. I handed them the key from the drawer and came here with you."
Both men looked over as their parents came into the room. "Falcon, thank god you're ok." Althea said as she hugged him gently. "I am glad you and the babies are ok."
"I will be ok mom. I promise." He attempted to smile.
"So you are the only one who can make my son cry. We finally meet, but I wish it was under better circumstances." He extended his hand. "My name is Daniel. I am happy my son found you, you really mean a lot to him, and so do the babies that I keep hearing about."
"It's nice to meet you. Better circumstances would have been nice, but that didn't happen. Did Wolf tell you that he lost the car?" Daniel shook his head no. "The same man that hurt me tried to hurt Wolf two weeks ago, he had a friend crash into the car. The car took most of the damage, Wolf only got a cut to his head." Falcon winced in pain.
"What is wrong love? Did the medication stop working?" Wolf asked with fear.
"No, the babies are kicking and it hurts cause of the bruises." Wolf hugged Falcon hoping that would soothe the babies and luckily, it did. Falcon smiled when Wolf helped him sit up before sitting behind him so that he sat in between Wolf's legs. He sighed as he relaxed into Wolf. Wolf kept his hand over the babies to keep them calm. "I can say one thing; if I ever see that man again I will make sure he suffers for what he did to me."
"Hush, calm down love. This not the time for that. And I don't think he is getting out any time soon. Right now, all that matters is you getting better so we can go home." He said as he rubbed his chin against Falcon's hair. "You should go back to sleep Falcon. You and the babies need the rest."
"Will you be here when I wake up?"
"Always, we are a pair. I would never leave you." Wolf looked confused when his dad handed me a set of keys. Once he handed them to Wolf, he recognized them. They were the keys for Falcon's car. "You brought the car?" His father nodded. "Thank you." He kissed Wolf's cheek and shook falcons hand before kissing his cheek as well. As everyone left, Wolf noticed Falcon had fallen asleep leaning against him.
Wolf was playing with Falcon's hair when the doctor came in. He saw Wolf with Falcon and smiled. "Sorry I am on the bed, but it was the only way to get him back to sleep. I figured he needed his rest."
"You are very right Wolf, and I don't mind you being on the bed. You could have lost him and your children, but you didn't. This is just remarkable. We have seen many people take injuries not as severe as his to their stomach and it kills the baby, but somehow you children did not sustain any harm. And we called Dr. Taylor, she is on her way over to talk to you." Wolf nodded and watched the doctor as he left.
Dr. Taylor showed up 25 minutes later and he explained everything to her the same way he explained it to everyone else. She had an ultra sound machine brought in so she could check on the babies again just to be sure. Dr. Taylor and Wolf both smiled when they heard the hearts beating and saw the babies moving. She left after that leaving Wolf and Falcon finally in peace.
~~~~
3 days later Falcon winced as he pulled his pants up to his stomach. The bruises had started to fade but his stomach was still sore. He smiled as the twins moved in response to his touch. He put on his shirt and leaned against the bed as he waited for Wolf to come back with his spare shoes from the car. Sadly, it wasn't his boots, but he could survive without them for the time being. The twins moved again as if trying to talk to him. He put his hand on his stomach. "Alright relax, I can feel you. I was really worried about you two. We almost lost you; never scare us like that again. I thought I had lost you when I woke and couldn't feel you moving." He said as he rubbed his stomach to calm the babies. "We were lucky that you had no injuries at all. That man was really mean. But daddy stopped him, he was there for us." He continued to rub his stomach.
"Aren't I always there for you?" He held out a pair of black sneakers for Falcon to put on. He handed Falcon the sneakers before putting his hands over Falcon's stomach. "I would do anything for you three." He kneeled so his head was level with Falcon's stomach. He kissed each side of Falcon's stomach before he started talking to the babies. "You three are my entire world. In the beginning, I thought I lost all of you. Your mommy was barely breathing, and I couldn't feel either of you moving. At that moment, I thought you were all dead, in my anger I kinda broke Tomas's nose. But since he came after me, they said it was self-defense. Your mommy was just as worried about you as I was. But everything turned out ok. Now we all get to go back home to the nice comfy bed and my cooking, which is so much better than this gruel." Wolf looked up when he heard Falcon start to laugh. He stood and put his arms around Falcon's waist.
"What are you laughing at? Could you be laughing at me?" Falcon covered his mouth as he tried to stop laughing. "Tell me Falcon, what is so funny. You wouldn't be laughing at my cooking would you?" Falcon shook his head no. "Well then why are you laughing when I am talking to Blade and Crimson?"
"I am laughing cause you are being you, even in the worst of circumstances you make it seem like it was a movie. You make it seem so dramatic." Falcon said with his hands over his stomach.
"Well, I have a reason to be dramatic; I almost lost the three people who mean the most to me. When I held you in my arms after I handcuffed Tomas I was afraid you were dying. You went limp in my arms and closed your eyes. I thought I really lost you." He began to rock back and forth with Falcon.
"Why would I want to leave you, you are the best thing that ever happened to me. You were always there for me, even before we started dating. You were so kind when we were just friends." He kissed Wolf passionately.
Wolf was lying in the hammock in the back yard enjoying a warm spring day. He was wearing a pair of shorts; he was reading "Dark Melody" By Christine Feehan. His one leg was over the side of the hammock rocking it gently back and forth. It had been 1 month since the incident with Tomas. Falcon was now 5 months pregnant. The bruises had finally all disappeared and Falcon was back to acting like himself again. He would occasionally get nightmares about what happened, but they had slowly started to go away as well. "Hey, give that back!" He said when Wolf took the book from him. "I was reading that." He smiled when Wolf set the book on the table next to the hammock.
"What? That book is more important than me?" Wolf said with a smirk on his face. "And I thought I was more interesting to you." He smiled as Falcon moved over on the hammock. He laid next to Falcon and put his hand over their children. He kissed Falcon before he rocked the hammock back and forth. He noticed the rocking motion seemed to calm the babies. "I can see that Crimson and Blade like the hammock as much as their mommy do." He began to rub small circles over Falcon's stomach. "How are you feeling?"
"Like a blimp, and Crimson and Blade are always moving unless I am lying here rocking back and forth in the hammock. Nothing else seems to calm them, well other than when we talk to them." He smiled again when Wolf stopped moving the hammock so he could feel the babies moving. "You are trying to torture me aren't you?" He asked when the twins started to kick vigorously.
"I am sorry, but I can't believe that they are still here, safe where they belong." He began to trace a design on Falcon's stomach. "Maybe they can tell how much they mean to us and want us to know they are ok, that's all. They know how much we were worried about them, so they are reassuring us that they are ok." He started to draw lazy circles over Falcon's stomach. He once again began to rock the hammock. Both men were lulled to sleep by the rhythmic rocking of the hammock.
~~~
Falcon woke to a beautiful sight. Wolf was lying next to him still asleep. He was rubbing Falcon's stomach while snoring. Falcon just smiled and laid there until Wolf woke. "Hey, were you by any chance dreaming about Crimson and Blade?"
"Yeah, how did you know?" he looked confused.
"You were rubbing my stomach in your sleep. It was kinda cool to wake up to though. I liked it." He smiled as he leaned forward to kiss Wolf. He got scared when his phone rang. Both men fell out of the hammock. Falcon landed with Wolf cradling him to his body in an attempt to keep Falcon and his babies from harm. "My knight in shining armor right?" He smiled as Wolf began to laugh. "But wait, that makes me the damsel in distress. I may have been in distress but I am most certainly not a damsel." Falcon stood and retrieved her phone from his pocket to see who called. He looked at the caller ID and saw it was Maureen. He called her back "You called Maureen? Yeah sure, we can come over in an hour. Ok bye." He put his phone in his pocket and looked at Wolf. "Your mom wants us to come over in an hour, she won't say why though."
~~~~
Wolf parked the car in his mom's driveway and both men got out of the car. Falcon had decided today would be the last day he wore his beloved boots. He walked with Wolf to the house, they walked in and found Maureen and Daniel sitting on the couch waiting for them. "Hey you wanted to see us?" Falcon said with wonder.
Daniel stood up and walked over to them. "Yes, we did. We know that you are engaged and we decided to help pay for the wedding. It is our present to you. And we won't take no for an answer." Both men looked shocked at what they were told.
"Dad, you don't have to do that. We can afford the wedding." Wolf put his arm around Wolf. "We have been prepared for this for a while now."
"I don't care Wolf. Your mother and I are helping and there is no way you can stop us. With all the hospital bills you have right now I really doubt you can pay for the wedding on your own." Daniel said with authority.
Wolf blushed at the truth his father was handing him. "Fine dad, but things are still done our way. We have been planning our wedding for a while now and we have certain ideas."
"Like what Wolf, we not change anything, we just want to know." Maureen said as she made Daniel sit. She pointed to the couch encouraging Wolf and Falcon to sit as well.
"Well, we want the wedding in our back yard this summer. It is gonna be a small ceremony for our friends and family. We don't have a date yet; but we will soon. We want to be married before Crimson and Blade are born." Wolf said as he rubbed Falcon's stomach.
"Good, we will all work together on this now. Did you really think you could not include us in your wedding? There is no way that would happen." Maureen said as she walked over to Wolf and Falcon on the couch. Falcon looked speechless. "Maureen, I don't know what to say. I am glad you want to help, I really am. But what can I say? You two have done so much for us already. I am glad you want to help, really. This means a lot to me." He looked like he was about to cry.
"Falcon, don't cry. Everything is fine, you should be happy." Maureen and Wolf began to soothe him.
"I am happy, it's just that my emotions take over sometimes and I can't control them." He said through his tears. He put a hand over his stomach when the babies moved again.
~~~~
Three hours later Wolf and Falcon were heading back to their house. They had all agreed that the wedding would be within the next month. When they got home, they were surprised to see Althea's car in the driveway. Falcon walked ahead of Wolf until they got to the living room. He saw his mom sitting on the couch reading a book. "Mom what are you doing here?"
"Well," she put the book on the table. "I wanted to see my son and my son in law. I haven't seen either of you in a while and I was starting to miss you, so I came over." Falcon hugged his mother and laughed when Blade and Crimson kicked. "I can see they are active, I am glad." Falcon and his mom sat on the couch while Wolf went to make them all lunch.
Wolf came back 5 minutes later with sandwiches. He set the plate of sandwiches on the table and sat next to Falcon. He smiled when Falcon leaned against him. "Althea, it is good to see you again. Sorry we haven't come to visit, but we have been busy." He put his hand over Falcon's stomach so Crimson and Blade would calm down. "We have had a lot to do over the past month. But thankfully, things have slowed down enough for us to relax a little. The twins have gotten very active lately. Dr. Taylor said that they are progressing very well. We have an appointment tomorrow actually."
"Yeah, maybe you can come with us mom." Falcon said as he sat up. "I would love it if you could join us."
"Sorry baby, but I can't. I have something planned already. If not for that, I would gladly join you. But maybe next time ok?" Falcon nodded as Wolf began to rub his stomach. "Daniel and Maureen told me they want to help pay for the wedding. I am guessing you talked to them already." Both boys nodded. "Well, I told them I would help anyway I can. I am glad that you are getting married. I can't wait until I walk you down the aisle Falcon."
"Mom, you're gonna make me blush." He smiled at her affectionately. "Neither of us can wait for the wedding. We were actually on our way back from talking to Maureen and Daniel when we found you. We decided that the wedding would be by the end of next month. We are gonna have it in the backyard. An of course you're invited. But there is one thing I am telling everyone now. I refuse to wear a dress." Althea and Wolf just started to laugh.
~~~~
Falcon sighed as he looked at his beloved boots knowing that he wouldn't see them again until after his children were born. He put them in a shoebox and put them in the closet. He had to start wearing his black sneakers that he usually kept in the car. He put the shoes on as he waited for Wolf to come back downstairs. "Wolf, if you don't hurry up we are gonna be late." He grabbed his car keys and started to walk to the door. He stopped and turned around when the keys were pulled out of his hand. "Hey give those back." Wolf just shook his head. "I can still drive you know. Just cause I am in my 5th month I don't have to stop driving."
"I don't care Falcon. I have been scared enough where you are concerned. I am not gonna have you drive the car with the chance of you or the twins getting hurt again. You have no choice in the matter. I am driving and that is final." Falcon looked at Wolf with his hands on his hips. "You can scowl all you want, but I am still driving now get in the car, we have to go." He pushed Falcon out the door and made him sit in the passenger seat. He pulled the car out the driveway before talking again. "Falcon I know you like to drive, but I don't need to worry that something can happen. I worried enough for the both of us when Tomas hurt you. I don't want to feel that way again. Now please just try to understand." Falcon just looked out the window when Wolf looked over at him. When Wolf put a hand on his leg, he would push it off. Neither man talked the rest of the way to Dr. Taylor's office.
When they arrived, Falcon got out the car and walked into the office not even waiting for Wolf. He had already checked in with the receptionist when Wolf walked in and sat next to him. Wolf again tried to talk to him, but Falcon just started to read a magazine. When they were called back, Falcon even ignored Wolf when he tried to help him stand. He stood up on his own after a little effort and waddled behind the nurse towards the examination room. He sat on the table and Wolf leaned up against the wall. Falcon smiled when Dr. Taylor walked in. "Hello Falcon how are you feeling today?"
"Alright I guess. Crimson and Blade are moving a lot recently. Is that normal?" he rubbed his stomach as Dr. Taylor walked over.
"Yes, it's perfectly normal. Things are just starting to get cramped for them, space is getting smaller and they don't have much room to move around. I am guessing that one moves right after the other right?" Falcon nodded. "That is because when one moves the other probably gets tapped and responds to the action. What they are doing is perfectly normal. There is no need to worry. Now I am gonna have you lay back and we will do your ultrasound ok?"
Falcon laid back on the table as Dr. Taylor turned on the machine. He shivered when she put the gel on his stomach. He watched the screen attentively as he waited for his children to become visible. "They are so beautiful." He said when he saw them. "So, are they still doing ok? Is there any problems that you can see?" Dr. Taylor shook her head. "And I have a question, is it safe for me to drive still?"
"Yes, it is perfectly safe as long as you keep the seat as far back from the wheel as possible. The pressure of the wheel on your stomach could harm the babies if you are too close to it. But other than that, there is no reason you still can't drive. Why?"
"No reason, just curious." He looked over at Wolf and smiled. "These two better be good when they are older. I am going through a lot for them. I even gave up wearing my boots cause I am afraid I might trip and fall. I noticed they only relax when I am swinging in the hammock in my backyard or if I am walking around. Any other time they are kicking up a storm. I am starting to feel like a punching bag." He wiped the gel off his stomach as Dr. Taylor printed out the ultrasound picture.
"That is completely normal, don't worry. And they relax when you're in the hammock or moving because you are essentially rocking them to sleep. The rocking motion is soothing to them." Falcon nodded saying that he understood. "Well, I want you to make an appointment for next month on your way out ok?" Falcon nodded and headed out the door.
Wolf stayed behind and waited for Falcon to leave. "Dr. Taylor, can I talk to you for a minute."
"Sure Wolf, what is it?"
"Well, I wanted to ask something. How much can mood swings affect a person when they are pregnant?" Dr. Taylor looked at him waiting for more info. "If you hadn't noticed Falcon has been avoiding me ever since we left to come here. I told him I didn't want him to drive the car cause I was worried and he hasn't talked to me since. He has been ignoring me entirely. What do I do, I love him so much, but right now I wonder if he feels the same way."
"Wolf, he does love you. The way he is acting is partially because of mood swings, but also because he likes his independence. All mothers are that way, as the pregnancy progresses he won't be able to do most things without help. He wants to do things on his own not have someone treat him like an invalid. Just let him drive until he doesn't feel comfortable anymore. He wants to do things while he still can. I know you were worried when he got hurt, but he and the twins are fine. Let him do things while he still can and remember he does love you, I can tell by the way he looks at you most of the time."
"Thank you that helped a lot. Maybe now I can get him to talk to me. Well, I better go. He should be waiting for me." He turned and walked out the room. He found Falcon leaning against the car with his hands on his stomach. "Here, you drive." He threw Falcon the keys and walked to the passenger side of the car. He put his arms around Falcon and kissed him passionately in the parking lot. "Falcon, I am sorry for what I said, but you and our children mean everything to me. I am afraid that something bad can happen to you. I almost lost all of you once, I don't want there to be another chance." Falcon smiled as a tear streamed down his cheek. Wolf pulled out a tissue and wiped the tear away. "And Falcon, I hope you understand why I said what I said. Now start driving before I change my mind." Falcon walked around the car and got into the driver's seat.
They got home 20 minutes later. Falcon got out the car and walked over to the passenger side. He opened the door and kissed Wolf with all the passion in his body. When Falcon finally released him, Wolf looked at him with surprise. "I am guessing you forgive me now huh?" Falcon just kissed him again. Wolf picked falcon up and carried him into the house and into their bedroom. He laid Falcon on the bed and looked at him seductively.
"Hey down mountain man, I thought we agreed no more fun until after Crimson and Blade are born. So calm down before I have to throw water on you." He giggled when Wolf advanced toward him. "Wolf, I am serious. I will throw water at you." He always had a glass of water on his side of the bed for when he woke up at night. He began to reach for the water, but gasped when Wolf grabbed his wrists and pinned them above his head. He tried to get free. "Wolf, come on let me go. I am not so sure about this, is it still safe? What if it hurts the babies?"
Wolf sobered up immediately and released Falcon's wrists. He sat next to Falcon on the bed and cuddled up to him. "I am sorry love. I am not thinking. I guess I just need to think before I act more now that you are getting along in the pregnancy. I only had one thing on my mind. I am sorry." He kissed Falcon's cheek and pulled him closer. "I love you so much Falcon. I can't wait until we are married."
"Neither can I Wolf." He leaned into Wolf. "Just think soon we will be married and we will have our babies in our arms. That will be the best moment of all; we will be married and holding Crimson and Blade in our arms." Falcon sighed contently at the idea.
Falcon pulled on his black pants and buttoned them. He pulled his shirt down and stopped when his hand was over his stomach. He smiled as he felt his children moving. "This is it, daddy and I are getting married today. Then we just have to wait for you two to be born. We already have everything ready for you. You both have your own cribs and we even picked what you would wear for you first day home. We have everything planned out. Nothing can go wrong right?" He smiled when the babies kicked as if in approval. He looked at the door when he heard knocking.
"Falcon, its your mother, now open the door and let me in." He smiled and walked to the door letting his mother in. He hugged her as she kissed his cheek. "You look beautiful Falcon. I am so proud of you. Look at you, you're getting married, you're having twins. Everything is perfect." Althea said, as she looked him over. "I feel so proud to be your mom. I just wish your dad cared enough." She wiped a tear from her cheek at the memory.
"Mom, what is it, what are you trying to say?" He led her to the couch and sat down with her. "Tell me, what about my father?"
"Well, it was a mistake from the beginning. It all started a few years before you were born. I met your father at my friends wedding. He was so kind and sweet. We started dating, and thing escalated to love and passion." She let out a full-hearted sigh. "Your father always said he could not wait to marry me so we could have children together. Well one day I was sick, I went to my mom and she told me I was probably just getting a cold or something, and I believed her cause after about a week I felt better. One day on a whim I took a pregnancy test, I figured nothing would happen. That was when I got the shock of my life. It was positive; I immediately went to your father and told him. He said he wanted nothing to do with us and he left. Mom helped me raise you.
When you were four I ran into your father again. I was taking you shopping with me. He saw you and looked at me with utter disgust. He even said I was stupid to keep you. He said I should aborted you when I had the chance, that you would ruin my life. I always knew he was wrong, and now more than ever I am proud that I didn't listen to him. You mean everything to me Falcon. I wish your father could see the man you have become."
Falcon rubbed his mothers back in a soothing gesture. "Mom, it's ok. It was his choice to leave us. I am glad that I have you and that is all that matters. Maybe one day I will run into him and I can prove that you made the right choice, but until then all that matters is that you didn't listen to him." He hugged her and looked up when he heard the wedding march begin to play. "It's time to go; do you think you can walk me?" He smiled when his mother took his hand and nodded her head. "Well, we better get going then before Wolf thinks I ran away."
Wolf was astounded when he saw Althea leading Falcon down the makeshift aisle. He thought Falcon never looked more beautiful. In his eyes Falcon was glowing and he had a grace to him that never seemed to go away. He felt as if he was gonna cry. He kissed Falcon when Althea handed him over. He made sure to kiss Althea as well. Both men turned to look at the minister who was actually Wolf's twin sister Marie. There were tears in her eyes as she listened to both men recite their vows. "Wolf, if I may I want to say one thing before I let you two kiss." Wolf nodded his agreement.
"Falcon, I want you to know that you have found a great man. I may be older than my brother by a few minutes but he was always so protective of me. He always made sure that no one ever hurt me and now he is doing the same for you. The two of you are perfect for each other. I cannot wait for the day that you bring my niece and nephew into the world. So Falcon, welcome to this huge family and I am sorry you were stuck with the twin curse that we all have." She leaned forward and hugged him. "Ladies, gentlemen; I am proud to present Mr. and Mr. Wolf Anderson. Wolf you may now kiss your bride." She laughed when Falcon gave her a weird look.
Wolf pulled Falcon close and kissed him passionately as he felt his children kicking him through Falcon's skin. They broke apart as people started clapping loudly. "I love you Falcon, and I always will. Nothing will ever keep us apart, I promise." He wiped a tear from Falcon's eyes and put his arm around his lover's waist. They walked back down the aisle to the house where they were holding a party. On the way people were throwing birdseed over them.
Marie walked over to her brother and Falcon with a smile on her face. She hugged her brother before hugging Falcon and kissing his cheek. "Welcome to the family Falcon. I am so glad you are finally an Anderson. My brother has been waiting for this for far too long. And you still need to meet my kids you know. I have told them a lot about you. They are happy to have another uncle. And soon they will have cousins." Marie leaned close to Falcon. "And if my brother ever does anything to annoy or anger you let me know and I will bend him back into shape." She whispered into his ear so that Wolf would not hear her.
"Marie! Why would I ever annoy or anger the man I love? I may annoy you on a daily basis, but not him." He laughed as Falcon stepped from in between him. "You may be my big sister Marie, but I can still kick your butt. If I remember correctly I always ended up pinning you on the floor before you could even get in one punch." Both of them smiled before they burst out laughing. "Marie, I want to thank you for being the minister for our wedding, it means a lot to me." Wolf kissed his sister as Falcon stood there watching them.
~~~~ Falcon and Wolf had decided having their honeymoon would have to wait until later. There was no way Wolf was letting Falcon in a plane now that he was a few weeks away from being 6 months pregnant, and they both agreed that driving there would be no fun at all. They sat in their living room, Wolf was lying back on the couch with Falcon lying on top of him. Wolf's hand was sitting on Falcon's stomach. Every few minutes he would rub Falcon's stomach to soothe his son and daughter. "So Falcon how does it feel to be an Anderson? Is it everything you hoped it would be?"
"That and so much more. Your family is so supportive of us. I would never guess that everything could be so perfect and that I would be as happy as I am right now." Falcon said with a smile. He put his hand over Wolf's and pulled Wolf's hand up to his mouth for a kiss. Both men just stayed like that for a while before Falcon laughed.
"Why are you laughing? Did I do something that you found amusing?" Wolf said as he tried to look at Falcon with authority.
"No it wasn't you, it was Crimson and Blade. They are trying to escape. I can feel them moving around." He said as he put his hands over his stomach. He started to rub his stomach as the babies continued to move. "They are so active today, maybe they can feel my emotions and are just as happy as I am."

Falcon had reached the 6th month of his pregnancy. The day before he had his monthly appointment with Dr. Taylor. She told him the babies were progressing normally and that he would need to take it easy. He was sitting in the hammock in the back yard just trying to get the twins to relax. Nothing seemed to calm them, Falcon was wondering if they were just trying to torture him. It was getting hot out but sadly it was not hot enough to use the pool yet. He was gonna have the company come out to clean the pool tomorrow and have it filled. He may not use it right away but he planned on starting to soon. He smiled as Wolf came out with lemonade for him.
"Are you feeling any better honey?" Falcon shook his head no. "I am sorry, I wish there was something I could do. I hope they calm soon, you have been out here all day. It is a miracle you don't have sunburn yet." He sat on the ground next to the hammock. He smiled when Falcon sat up and put his legs around Wolf. He leaned forward and kissed Falcon's stomach. "Why won't you two calm down. Your making your mom very exhausted."
"How did you do that. You must have done something, did you promise them money or what?" Wolf looked confused. "Right after you told them to stop they stopped. What did you do? Did you slip something in the lemonade that would cause them to pass out?"
"First off I would never give you anything that would effect you or the twins in a bad way. And second I didn't do anything except kiss your stomach and say they were making you tired. Maybe they just know I mean business." He sat next to Falcon in the hammock before rubbing his stomach. "I am sorry they are acting up baby. From what my parents say, they got that from me. Me and Marie were the same way. You still need to meet her kids you know. Their names are Arya and Jaz short for Jasmine. They are a lot like their mom. They are identical, the only way to tell them apart is Arya always wears a necklace and jasmine doesn't." He kissed Falcon lovingly. "Maybe we can have them come over in the next few days so you can meet them. How does that sound?"
"That sounds great, how about they come over tomorrow? We don't have any other plans do we?" Wolf shook his head no. "Great then call your sister and tell her to bring the kids over; we will make a party out of it."
Wolf nodded, pulled out his phone and called Marie. "Hey Marie, what do you mean who is this? It's your brother you brat. Listen, Falcon and I were wondering if you could bring Arya and Jasmine over so they can meet their new uncle. Great, ok I will. Love you too Marie, see you tomorrow." He put his phone back in his pocket and smiled at Falcon. "Marie said she will bring the kids over around 12. She is excited that you want to meet them."
"Well I need to know what to expect with Blade and Crimson. Maybe meeting your nieces can give me an idea or two." He laughed as Wolf looked at him with laughter in his eyes.
"They are your nieces too Falcon. Now that we are married they are your nieces too." Falcon cuddled closer to Wolf and fell asleep in his embrace.
~~~
Wolf woke and immediately reached his hand across the bed searching for Falcon. He sat up and opened his eyes when he noticed Falcon's side of the bed was empty. "Falcon?" He said hoping Falcon would answer him. When there was no answer, he got out of bed and began to search the house. He relaxed a little when he got downstairs and found Falcon cleaning up. "Falcon what are you doing?" He walked up to Falcon and took the cleaning supplies away from him. "You should not be working so hard this far into the pregnancy, now sit down before I carry you to the couch and force you to sit." Falcon sighed before walking to the couch and sitting. "Now what is going on, I wake up and find you gone. Again!"
"Sorry, I was just excited and woke early. I figured why not clean up the house a little. I just want today to be perfect." He looked down at his hands, which were resting on his stomach. "I am really nervous Wolf. I know Marie is supportive of us, but how will her daughters act when they see me, a pregnant man. I doubt they will be kind."
Wolf pulled him close and rubbed his back. "Falcon, there is no reason to be nervous. Jaz and Arya already know that you're pregnant. I had that talk with them before we were married. They know how I feel about you and about Crimson and Blade. They are supportive of you, trust me. They love you and can't wait to meet you. They were already telling me how they planned to play with their cousins when they were older." He put the cleaning supplies in a pile before looking back at Falcon. "Now I am gonna go make you something to eat. Can I trust you to not clean anything while I am gone?"
"Yeah, I'll be good. I promise." He shifted position so he was lying on the couch with his head on one arm and his feet on the other. "I won't move from this spot, I swear." He put his hands over his stomach before looking at Wolf and smiling.
"I am trusting you." He kissed Falcon before walking into the kitchen. Falcon waited until Wolf was gone before getting up and starting to clean the living room. "I thought you wouldn't move." Falcon turned around to find Wolf standing in the doorway with two plates in his hands. Falcon just smiled at him. "You promised Falcon, if I didn't have these plates in my hands you would be in so much trouble. Now get over here before I decide to punish you." Falcon set the cleaning supplies back on the pile Wolf had made earlier before walking over to the table to sit. "Falcon I am serious, you need to calm down and try to relax. I don't want anything to happen to you or our children. Do you know that most of those chemicals you were using can be harmful to you and the babies? If you want something cleaned have me do it. I don't want anything bad to happen. And if I have to, I will lock the cleaning supplies in the shed and hide the key. I am gonna give you one more chance before I take drastic measures. Now please just promise me you will slow down some, if not for me do it for Crimson and Blade alright?" Wolf asked; he clearly looked worried.
Falcon sighed and put a hand over his stomach as the babies moved. "Fine, but haven't I given up enough for these two already. I gave up my boots, I gave up job, and I even gave up my daily run. And soon I am gonna have to give up driving MY car. I can't take this anymore. I am really wondering if it was a good idea to keep them. Lately I have been thinking about a lot of things, I just want my life back." He stood up and walked to the room he shared with Wolf. He closed and locked the door before lying on the bed crying. His hand was over his stomach. "Why did you two have to ruin everything? My life was perfect and you ruined it. Why did my life have to change just for you? Why did I even have to get pregnant? I just wish this was a nightmare I could wake up from." He hugged a pillow to his body and fell asleep crying.
Wolf stood on the other side of the door shocked at everything he had just heard. Falcon was essentially yelling at the babies saying they ruined his life. "Oh my god, I hope he doesn't really feel that way. Please don't let him feel that way." He looked at the door as tears streamed down his cheeks. He tried to open the door but found Falcon had locked it, he walked back to the living room and sat on the couch. He put his head in his hands and cried whole-heartedly.
Wolf woke to the sound of someone knocking on the door; he looked at his watch and saw it was noon. He cursed under his breath. He opened the door and was bombarded by hugs and kissed from his nieces. "Hey Jaz, hi Arya. Where is your mom hiding huh?" He picked both girls up and hugged them. He smiled at Marie as she walked around the corner. "How is everyone feeling today?" he set the girls back on the floor and they hugged his legs. "Girls go meet me in the living room; I need to talk to your mom for a minute." He smiled as Jaz and Arya ran into the living room.
Marie leaned forward and hugged him. "What is wrong Wolf? You seem upset." She rubbed his back gently to show her support.
"Falcon is mad at me. I woke up this morning and found him cleaning. I was worried about him overworking himself and you know most of the things he uses can be harmful to the babies if he isn't careful. So I told him no more cleaning unless he let me help him and he just started yelling at me saying he gave up enough for the babies and that giving up another thing was just too much. He locked himself in our room over 3 hours ago. When I tried to go into our room earlier, I heard him talking to Crimson and Blade and it sounded like he regretted everything that had to do with me. I really need your help Marie." He looked depressed and vulnerable.
"Take the girls and play in the backyard. I will talk to Falcon, maybe he will understand when he knows you did the same stupid things to me." Wolf just nodded and went to find the girls. Marie walked towards the bedroom and knocked on the door. "Falcon open up, it's Marie. We need to talk." She stood there for 5 minutes before Falcon opened the door. She saw his eyes were puffy from crying. "Falcon, I know you are mad at my brother, but can you please come out to the living room and talk to me. I had Wolf take the girls to the back yard. Please come talk to me." Falcon nodded and walked ahead of her. "Falcon I know my brother is very controlling, but he is worried about you. You know that right?" Falcon nodded. "Then why haven't you said a word yet?"
"Marie what do you want me to say that I am gonna jump into his arms and cry while I forgive him? Well don't hold your breath I don't plan on it any time soon. I have had enough Marie. He has gone too far, I just wish I wasn't pregnant anymore. I wonder if all the choices I made were right. I don't need to be with someone who controls my life. I want some freedom, but he has me locked in a cage." He looked at her like he was gonna cry again. "I can understand setting some limits, but he is taking it too far. I am wondering if keeping the babies was a good idea."
Marie pulled Falcon close and rubbed his back. "Falcon, I can understand trust me; he acted the same way when I was pregnant with my daughters. It is in his nature to be that way. I know it feels like he is controlling you, but he doesn't want anything to happen to you or the babies. Falcon please just give him another chance; don't do something you will regret ok." He nodded while he grabbed a tissue. "I know he is being a pain in the butt now, but look at how he treats Jasmine and Arya. He is gonna treat Crimson and Blade the same way."
He nodded again. "Marie will you kids be alright with the fact that I am pregnant? I mean are they gonna get freaked out or something?" He looked out the sliding glass door at Wolf as he played with his nieces. "I mean are they gonna think I am weird just cause I have two people growing inside me?"
"Falcon relax, they seem eager to meet you and just as eager to know they are gonna have cousins." She stood up and held her hand out to him. "Now why don't you come meet them before you lose your nerve?" He took her hand and let her help him stand. She led him outside and laughed when Jasmine and Arya ran to them. Wolf just looked at her with happiness. She understood and nodded. "Jaz, Arya I want you to meet your uncle Falcon." Falcon waved nervously.
"Is it true that you're gonna have a baby uncle Falcon?" Jaz asked with enthusiasm as her sister nodded.
"Yeah, I am having two babies. A boy and a girl." He smiled at the twins when they gasped in wonder. "I am happy to meet you both. And from what everyone tells me you would be Jasmine and you would be Arya right?" Both girls nodded before hugging him. He laughed as he hugged them back.
"Can you play with us uncle Falcon?" Wolf looked like he was gonna say something but Marie glared at him and he just waited to see what would happen.
"Sure, but we have to be careful ok?" Both girls nodded and he let them lead him towards the center of the yard. They started to play hide and seek.
"Marie, what is wrong with you? He shouldn't be playing like that. He could get hurt or something could happen to my children. Your kids like to play rough, now stop this." Wolf said with authority.
"Don't yell at me little brother. You are lucky I am not slapping you right now. You are tearing that man apart. He actually regrets getting pregnant because it took away his freedom. You are being more 'protective' of him then you were of me. You are lucky Falcon is even still here, from what I heard he is regretting everything. A person is supposed to be happy when they are pregnant and Falcon is far from happy. Now you had better cool it or I will make your life hell and you know I can." Marie said with anger in her voice.
Wolf looked at her for a minute before he looked at Falcon to see him playing with Jasmine and Arya. "Fine, but if anything happens to them I don't know what I will do. I almost lost them once Marie." Marie gasped with surprise. "We never told you but you remember Tomas right?" She nodded. "He attacked Falcon; I almost lost all three of them. I got home to find Tomas shoving Falcon into the wall intending to kill the babies and Falcon." "Oh my god, I had no idea. Well that is a reason to be over protective, but you still need to cut back some. He really is regretting everything; you need to talk to him. I got him to give you another chance. Promise me that you will talk to him later."
"Yeah I will. I am gonna go make lunch, your kids still like my sandwiches?" She nodded and he walked away.
Marie watched Falcon and the kids play for a while before walking over to them. "Alright girls we need to give uncle Falcon a break. We don't want him to get tired do we?" Both girls said no at the same time. "Okay, well how about we go sit over there and we can talk to uncle Falcon ok?" Falcon smiled when they said ok mommy in unison. They ran to the lawn chairs and sat down. Falcon sat on the hammock so the rocking would calm the babies. It seemed they were having fun too while their mommy played.
"Uncle Falcon what is it like being pregnant?" Jasmine said with a smile. "I mean do you like it?"
Falcon looked at Marie before answering. "Well it is very rewarding. I mean I love the feeling of them moving inside me. It kinda makes it all worth it. There are moments when I wonder if I had a chance to change things would I and I always answer no. I would not change anything at all. I love it and I love my children." He smiled as he put his hand over his stomach when the babies moved.
"What are you doing uncle Falcon?" Arya asked as she looked at him with wonder.
"The babies are moving and the only way to soothe them is put my hand over my stomach. They seem to love attention."
"Can I feel uncle Falcon?" Jaz said with enthusiasm. Falcon nodded and had her stand next to him. He put her hand over his stomach so she could feel the babies. "You need to feel this Arya, it's so cool." Before Arya could even ask, he nodded and she stood next to him with her hand next to her sister's. Both girls looked at each other with wonder. Wolf walked out to see his nieces feeling his children moving. He looked at Falcon and smiled. Falcon didn't notice him; he was too busy talking to the girls. He walked over and set the plate of food on the makeshift table before sitting behind Falcon on the hammock and wrapping his arms around him. "Hey girls, are you having fun?" they nodded as the sat back by their mom.
"We felt the babies move Uncle Wolf. It was so cool. Was it .like that when mom was pregnant with us?" Wolf nodded and smiled at Marie.
"You two were a real busy pair. Your mom was always saying you were moving. Nothing could make you stop." Both girls looked at their mom and she nodded. "I am surprised you don't have more energy usually. With the way you acted when you were inside your mom you should be jumping off the walls." Both girls started to laugh. "Do you see this love? They think I am funny, my own nieces are laughing at me. Maybe I should make them laugh for another reason." Both girls started laughing harder when he chased them around the yard as he tickled them.
At 5:00, Marie got the girls things together preparing to leave. "Do we have to go mommy? We are having fun, we like uncle Falcon mommy." Falcon could swear he felt his heart in his throat after they said that.
"Don't worry you can come back another time and we will have more fun." Falcon said with a smile. Both girls ran to him and hugged him. "But for now you really need to go home ok? Your uncle and I are going out to dinner tonight." He hugged both girls tightly before releasing them. They ran to Wolf and hugged him next before leaving with Marie. Falcon turned to Wolf and kissed him with enough passion that Wolf was stunned for a second when released. "Wolf I am sorry about how I acted, I know you are worried about me and our children. But I need to have some fun, there isn't much you can do while you're pregnant and I want to do what I can while I can. Trust me I am just as worried as you are, they are inside me Wolf. Please try to understand, and I was hoping we could go out to dinner; the babies do need t he culture."
Wolf let out a hearty laugh before grabbing Falcon. "I would go anywhere with you Falcon. And I will try to be more understanding. But like I told Marie you mean everything to me and I don't want to lose any of you." He kissed Wolf as he hugged him close. "So did you have fun with Jaz and Arya?"
"Yeah and it gave me a few ideas about our twins. I just wonder if they will be as energetic. We will need to learn how to calm them if they get rambunctious like their dad." Falcon looked at Wolf with a mischievous grin. "You do know that Crimson and Blade act just like you right?"
Wolf and Falcon sat in a booth at their favorite restaurant. Wolf had just given their order to the waiter when he grabbed Falcon's hand. He looked falcon in the eye as he leaned his head down and kissed Falcon's knuckles. "Falcon, Marie told me about your talk with her. I am sorry, you should not regret being pregnant. In an attempt to make things better I have made them worse. I haven't been thinking about how my actions could make you feel. I haven't been thinking at all, I have been selfish. I hope you can forgive me."
"Wolf, I love you and I will forgive you. But you do need to stop it. I know what is and isn't safe for me to do. I would not do anything to rick the life of Crimson and Blade. I love them with my heart. They are a part of us both and I don't want to lose them. Did you really think I would use any of the cleaning products without reading to see if it could harm a pregnant person? The products I was using this morning were the safest ones out of my who artillery." He laughed when Wolf looked at him like he had three heads. "Relax Wolf, I would never even do anything if I thought it would hurt Crimson and Blade. Like I said they are my babies and I want to one day meet them, I want to hold them in my arms. I want to walk our little girl down the aisle when she gets married. And I want to congratulate Blade when he gets married and learns he will have children of his own."
"Well, I am sorry, the next time I act like that you can punch me. You can do anything, just make sure you set me in my place ok?" he laughed when he saw Falcon envisioning the chance he gets to hit Wolf. "Hey don't think about it too much, I was wondering if it was a bad idea. Now quit it before I change my mind." Falcon laughed and put his hands over his stomach. "Let me guess, they are moving now aren't they?" Falcon nodded. "So does that mean they forgive me too? I sure hope so, you have no idea how hard it is to apologize to someone you can't see."
Wolf was at work sitting at this desk when his phone rang. "Hello?"
"Wolf, this is David. I wanted to tell you that Tomas is going to court this Friday and they want you and Falcon there. I wanted to give you time to prepare Falcon. I know that it was hard for both of you. And also I wanted to warn you that they are using the photos of Falcon that was taken when he was at the hospital." David had been Wolf's friend ever since they were boys.
"Thanks David, I am glad you are watching out for us. I will do my best to prepare Falcon and I will do my best to keep him from killing Tomas too. I know Tomas is number one on Falcon's list of people to harm." He started laughing when he imagined Falcon kicking Tomas's ass. "Thanks David but I have to get back to work now. And if there is anything we need I will tell you. Bye David and thanks again." He smiled as he put the phone back in it's cradle. He could not wait for the day to end so he could go home and tell Falcon what was going on.
~~~~
Falcon sat at home listening to the radio as he read a book. He looked up when he heard the doorbell. He got up with some effort and walked to the door. He looked through the peephole and got a surprise. He opened the door and embraced the person. "Oh my god, Tammy how are you? How did you find me?" Tammy hugged him and looked surprised when her eyes looked at his stomach. "Come inside, there is so much we need to talk about."
He led Tammy to the living room and they sat on the couch. "Well, in answer to your earlier questions I am fine. I just moved back into town and your mom said you live here now, she didn't tell me you were pregnant." She picked up falcons hand and looked at his wedding ring. "She also didn't say you were married now. What happened to you? When I left for college you still lived with your mom. I have been gone for too long. I thought I was supposed to get married first."
Falcon put his hand over his stomach. "I know Tammy, but things changed. You remember Wolf right?" She nodded. "He is the man I married. We only got married a month ago. And I am 6 ½ months pregnant with twins. I am having a boy and a girl. We are so happy together Tammy. I will admit there are moments that he pisses me off but I really love him. I don't know what I would do without him. My life is perfect now." He rubbed his stomach lovingly.
"I am so glad to hear that Falcon. I am glad you are happy. Did you choose names for your son and daughter yet?"
"Yeah, Crimson and Blade." His smile seemed to get bigger.
"What is with you and weird names? I mean really, you always were like that even when we were younger. If I remember you had a hamster named Eternity." She laughed when he smiled at the memory. "Can't you ever be normal Falcon?"
"Now we don't want me to act normal, if I acted normal who would make you laugh? If I remember right you were always laughing at me when we were younger because I did things differently then you and everyone else." She laughed at him when he sat like a normal person would. "And if I acted normal I would not be pregnant either. Not many people are very accepting of a pregnant man. If not for Wolf, I would have killed them all by now. I am glad I am having my children, they mean everything to me." He looked at his stomach sadly.
"Hey what is it? One moment you are excited and now you are Mr. mopey. What is going on?" she rubbed her hand on his leg supportively.
"Well, a few months ago we almost lost the babies. Do you remember Tomas by chance?" She nodded. "Well, when I was about 5 months pregnant he tired to kill me and the babies. He would have succeeded if Wolf had not come home when he did. I don't remember much of what happened, but Wolf said he found Tomas shoving me into the wall face first. He called the police after knocking out Tomas and handcuffing him to the bathroom door. Luckily, the babies didn't get injured, but I did. It was so bad, my entire body was numb. I could not even feel my babies moving unless they gave me medication to take away the pain. But like I said, they are perfectly fine now. yesterday I met Wolf's…I mean my nieces. They are so sweet, they also gave me an idea of what to expect with my babies." He rubbed his stomach affectionately. "Do you want to feel them move? It is wonderful." She nodded and he grabbed her hand putting it over his stomach.
She looked shocked. "Oh my god, that is wonderful. If feels so cool. I can't wait until I find the person for me and we have kids. How are you not always touching you stomach? I would be doing that all day."
"Well, they aren't always moving. Most of the day they are sleeping. But whenever I am excited or relaxing they seem to wake up. They usually calm down when Wolf talks to them or if I start to walk around, they also love the hammock in the backyard." He looked up when the front door opened. "Stay here, I will be right back."
Wolf smiled when he saw Falcon walking to him. He set his briefcase on the floor and hugged Falcon. "Hey babe, how are you feeling?" He kissed Falcon before putting his hands over Falcon's stomach. "The kids are moving already? What they couldn't wait for me to get home?"
"That isn't the reason, we have company." Wolf looked confused. "A very good and old friend. We have not seen them since we were 19." He grabbed Wolf's hand and pulled him to the living room. "Wolf, I hope you remember Tammy?"
Wolf let go of Falcon and walked over to Tammy hugging her. "Tammy how have you been?" he looked at Tammy surprised at how much she had grown. "What happened to you? You used to be classified as weird like us, now look at you. You are normal, what happened at that college?" He laughed when Tammy punched his arm. "Well one thing hasn't changed; she still likes to kick my ass."
"Falcon told me congratulations are in order. I wish I could have been here for your wedding. He told me everything that has happened recently. I am sorry about Tomas; he used to be a nice guy. Why did he snap like that?"
The three of them sat on the couch and Falcon leaned against Wolf. "Because I left him. Tomas and I had dated for a while but he started to get controlling and possessive so I left him. A few months later Falcon and I started dating. It seems Tomas got jealous. Now he sits in the county jail. Oh and Falcon, David called today. He said that Tomas has a court hearing this Friday and they want us there. He told me now so I could prepare you. Are you up to it? They will be showing the pictures they took of you after the accident." Falcon just nodded. "If you want I can find a way for you to be there without having to see Tomas."
"No, I want him to see us and me. I want him to see that he didn't win. I want him to [ay for what he did and if that means seeing him again then I say we do it. If we can help put that prick behind bars then do it. I just hope he gets what he deserves."
"I want to be there too. I want to see what has become of Tomas. I used to be his friend and I want him to see that he has to get what he deserves. And Falcon needs as much moral support as he can get." She hugged Falcon and rubbed his back. "I am here for you buddy. We always stick together till the end." Falcon smiled when he remembered that was their motto.
"We would be glad to have you there Tammy. So I hope we will be seeing more of you now that you moved back. Where do you live now anyway?" he smiled when Wolf started to rub his stomach.
"I live in my parents old house. When mom and dad moved away, they sent me a letter in the mail saying the house was in my name. They knew I have always loved the house. I remember when I was a little girl finding and exploring all the hidden passages. It was a real adventure. Maybe one day you can come over for a no alcoholic party. What do you say?"
"That would be great Tammy, maybe we can have a party to celebrate Tomas getting what he deserves. What better reason to celebrate other than when my Crimson and Blade are born. And I doubt I can wait that long for a party." Wolf said with a smile as he looked at Falcon.
"That sounds great. So maybe on Saturday or Sunday we will party till we can't party no more. You can even bring Marie and her kids. I noticed I have really missed a lot. When I left Marie wasn't even seeing anyone, now she is married and has two girls." She looked at her phone when it rang. "Well, I have to go. It has been nice to see you two again. Let me know what time the hearing is on Friday. The phone number at the house is still the same. Just call me and let me know." She stood up and hugged both men before walking out.
Wolf noticed that Falcon had fallen asleep leaning against him. "You must have had a really exciting day if you passed out already." He leaned Falcon forward enough so he could stand. He picked Falcon up and carried him to their bedroom. He laid next to him and fell asleep with Falcon in his arms.
~~~~
Wolf sat on the bed watching Falcon put on a pair of black pants and black shirt. Falcon pulled a black coat out of the closet and put it on. "Why do you always look at me like that Wolf? Do you think I will disappear or something?" He finished putting his coat on and looked at his reflection in the mirror before turning to look at Wolf. "I am not going anywhere anytime soon. I plan on being here to see Crimson and Blade off to their first day of kindergarten and I plan on seeing Crimson and Blade married. And maybe one day we will have another baby that we can shower with love." he walked over to the bed and sat next to Wolf. "Now will you get dressed? We are supposed to met Tammy at the courthouse in 30 minutes. Now hurry up or we will be late." He nudged Wolf off the bed and put on his sneakers as he waited for Wolf to finish dressing.
They got to the courthouse a few minutes before the hearing was gonna start. "Why are you two so late? We were supposed to be inside already, the hearing starts n 5 minutes. Now come on." Tammy led them impatiently into the courthouse and to their seats. Falcon was about to sit but stopped when he saw Tomas. Tomas looked at him with disgust. "You failed asshole, I am still here and my children are fine." He hissed between his teeth, but he knew Tomas heard him because of the way his facial expression changed.
The judge walked into the room and ordered everyone to sit. "Tomas Johnson you are charged with attempted homicide of three people and aggravated assault. How do you plead?"
"Not guilty." Tomas said with a smile. He planned on making Falcon suffer through every memory.
Wolf put his arm around Falcon to keep him sitting and Tammy put her hand on his leg. "That fucker is lying Wolf, you and I know he is lying. He tried to kill me and the babies. He lied and I hope that he gets what he deserves."
"I know that Falcon, now clam down. I don't want to take you to hospital for a panic attack or something of that nature. We will see that he gets what he deserves, don't worry about it." He noticed Falcon was breathing faster than he was a few minutes ago. "Falcon pay attention to me and take deep slow breaths. You are needed to make sure he pays, and they can't know what happened unless you are here. Think of the babies and take deep slow breaths. You will start to hyperventilate or pass out if you don't." Falcon did as Wolf said. "Good, are you ok now?" Falcon nodded. "Alright, now pay attention, it's getting started."
David stood and called Falcon to the stand. Falcon stood and walked forward with his head held high. "Falcon, can you tell the people in this court room what happened the day in question?" He nodded. "Then please do."
"Wolf had gone to the store to get a few things. I was sitting on my bed reading a book. I heard the front door slam against the wall as if it was kicked open. I knew right away it wasn't Wolf; he had no reason to do that. I heard things being thrown around in ever room. The sound of things breaking slowly came closer to me. The door to my bedroom was kicked open and Tomas was in the doorway. He looked at me with hatred. I put my hands over my stomach in fear for my children. He talked to me and grabbed my hair and yanked it making me arch backwards. He put his hand on my stomach and smiled. He said he was lucky cause he could end everything then. I begged and pleaded for him not to hurt the babies and he refused. I didn't care what happened to me, but I wanted my children to live. He pulled my hair making me fall to the floor. I rolled onto my side right before I hit the floor. Tomas let out a sigh of anger. He went to kick my stomach and I rolled onto my other side. He ended up kicking my back. He kicked me again but this time it was my chest. He was getting annoyed that he had not landed a shot to my stomach. He picked me up and threw me into the wall making sure my stomach got injured. I heard Wolf yell at Tomas telling him to let me go and Tomas said no before throwing me into the wall again. That is the last thing I remember, I woke later in a hospital bed with Wolf standing next to me." Falcon said as he hand went protectively to his stomach.
"Thank you Falcon, you can go sit back down now." David said; he helped Falcon down. "You did great Falcon, it will be ok." He whispered into Falcon's ear as he led him to his seat. "Your honor I would like to show the members of the court pictures of Falcon I had taken while he was in the hospital. The pictures were taken an hour after the accident." The judge nodded and David turned on a projector. Falcon hid his face in Wolf's shirt as the pictures were shown. Tammy had her hand over her mouth in surprise at how badly Tomas had hurt Falcon. The entire time Wolf was shushing Falcon telling him it was ok. When the slide show of photos was over, he told Falcon it was ok to look again.
The hearing went on for anther hour before the jury was led away to come to a decision on what to do with Tomas. They came back half and hour later. "Your honor, we have deliberated over this long and hard, we looked at every angel of the trial and have come to a decision. We sentence Tomas Johnson to life without the chance of parole."
Falcon smiled when he hear the news. He looked at Tammy and Wolf with tears in his eyes. "We did it, we won. The babies will be safe, nothing bad will ever happen to them." He hugged Wolf and Tammy at the same time. "Well Tammy, what time is the party?"
"Tomorrow starting at noon and ends whenever we choose. And like I said bring Marie and the kids, we have a lot to celebrate." The three friends left the courthouse arm in arm. Once to the parking lot they went their separate ways to their cars. "Remember my house at noon, I even got the pool filled a few days ago."
Falcon sat on the couch while Wolf was in the backyard mowing the grass. In a few hours, they were going to Tammy's house for the party. He heard the doorbell. "Come in." He yelled. It was hot that day and he was too lazy to get up. He sat up when he heard Jaz and Arya giggling. The girls ran to him and hugged him. "Hey girls how are you feeling?" They sat on the couch, one on each side of him. He looked up when he heard Marie. "Hey Marie. I hope you brought bathing suits for everyone; it is a pool party after all."
"Where is my brother hiding? What did you do, lock him in the basement?" Falcon and the girls laughed.
"No, he is mowing the lawn in the back. He should be in soon; he said it was too nice a day to pass up lawn work. Power to him I say, I think it is too hot to do anything." He leaned back on the couch and smiled at his nieces. He still felt weird calling them that. They leaned on him with their head on his shoulders. "Alright what did you two do or what do you want. Why the lovey-dovey routine?"
"We didn't do and don't want anything. It just has been a while since we saw you. We missed you uncle Falcon." He smiled when Wolf walked in and saw them like that.
"Hey honey, I think I have 2 daughters, they are hanging all over me."
"Really? that means that they get to live here and do all the housework for me since they are my daughters as well." Wolf smiled mischievously at his sister and husband. "Well, first I will have them clean the attic and then the basement, and maybe even the garage."
"Uncle Wolf, we are mommy's daughters. We just missed uncle Falcon. He is fun and he likes to play." Jaz said as Arya hugged Falcon hoping he would save her from having to clean anything.
"Well, I won't be able to play that much anymore. As I get closer to when the babies are born, I need to slow down on what I do. We will still play, but not as often as we did." Both girls nodded saying they understood. "But we can play in the pool today at my friend's house. But you have to remember to be careful ok?" They nodded again. "Well, Wolf and I are ready, are you ready to go Marie or do you want to relax here a little first?"
"No, we are good. We have everything in the car. We are ready when you are." Falcon nodded and stood up.
"Well then I say let's go." He grabbed his bag of spare clothes and walked outside. The girls ran out behind him.
"Mommy, can we ride with uncle Falcon?" Marie looked at him and he nodded it was ok as long as it was ok with her. "Please mommy, it will be fun."
"Yeah go ahead, but you have to listen to everything your uncles say until we get to the party. Do you two understand me?" Both girls nodded and ran to Falcon's car. "Put on your seatbelts!" She yelled before they closed their doors. "Are you sure you will be ok with them, they can be a real handful in the car."
"We'll be fine Marie, I need the practice anyway. What better way to practice than with those two? We will be fine; you remember the way to Tammy's house right?" She nodded. "Good, so I will see you again in a few minutes and you can have your kids back. And I promise they won't have a scratch on them." He turned and walked to his car and got into the passenger seat. "Put your seatbelts on girls." He smiled when he heard the seatbelts click into their locks. He put his own seatbelt on pulling it across his big stomach. "Ready?" Both girls nodded. "Lead the way Wolf."
They arrived at Tammy's 10 minutes later. The girls waited for Wolf to park and turn off the car before unbuckling their seat belts. He heard them groan when they noticed the doors wouldn't open. "Well the child locks work love. Hold on girls we will let you out in a minute." He got out and opened Arya's door while Wolf opened Jaz's. "Stay close your mom isn't here yet so you still listen to us." Jaz held Falcon's hand and Wolf held Arya's as they led both girls to the house. Falcon knocked on the door and waited for Tammy to open it.
"Hey Wolf, Falcon. Who are these two cuties?" she smiled at Jaz and Arya.
"They are Marie's daughters. I have Arya and Falcon has Jaz, short for Jasmine. Marie should be along in a minute, she was not that far behind us. Girls this is my good friend Tammy." Falcon and Wolf looked as Marie pulled her car into the driveway. "That would be Marie now, why don't you girls go to the backyard with uncle Falcon ok?" Arya grabbed Falcon's other hand and he led them to the backyard.
"Oh my god Tammy! Look how much you have grown, welcome home." Marie said as she hugged Tammy. "What happened to the little girl who used to help me prank my brother?"
"Don't worry Marie, she is still here. Your daughters are beautiful, they look just like you."
"Thanks Tammy." Wolf followed both women as the continued to catch up. He was glad when he finally reached the backyard. He walked over to Falcon who was sitting on a lawn chair while he watched the twins playing with a football they all used to play with.
He sat behind Falcon and wrapped his arms around his waist. "Hey everything ok?" He smiled when Falcon leaned back and laid partially on him. "Don't tell me you are tired already."
"I'm not tired, I just like being in your arms. It is comfortable here, and it is where I feel safest." Falcon smiled as Wolf kissed his head. "Wolf, do you think that Crimson and Blade will be like Jaz and Arya?"
"I don't know really, but I can say if they are we are in for trouble. It took 6 months before they would sleep through the night. I remember it was hell. Marie was always telling me that she and Henry could not get any sleep. No matter what they tried, the girls would not sleep through the night. I truly hope Crimson and Blade are not like that. I might just go insane of they are." He said as he rubbed Falcon's stomach.
"You might want to be fitted for your straight jacket now. According to the book the way a baby acts inside it's mother reflects how it will act once born. We will both be in straight jackets by the end of the first week; Crimson and Blade are always moving. And we know already that nothing soothes them. I think it will be even worse when they are teens. Think about how we both acted and you will see why I am afraid of the teen years." He laughed when he felt Wolf tense up. "I just hope we will survive without and injuries. We may even need padded cells." He smiled when Tammy walked over to them.
"Hey boys, Falcon you better not be tired already or I will kick you into the pool. I am serious; you are supposed to be the active one out of all of us. You were always willing to run like a maniac in gym class and you were always running laps around us."
"Don't blame me, blame my children. They make me tire easier, but I am not tired right now. I just love being in Wolf's arms. I promise Tammy, I haven't done anything that would make me tired yet. Now get your panties out of their knot and relax a little, people change, you are true evidence of that. Sit down, enjoy the day."
"Wolf, are you sure this is Falcon. The real Falcon would have thrown me into the pool for what I said." Tammy smiled when Falcon glared at her. "Well it's true; the real Falcon would have thrown me in the pool by now. Actually, he did once for picking on his boots. Please tell me you don't still have the boots."
"Hey you can pick on me but not my boots Tammy." The chairs were on the edge of the pool. Falcon put his foot on the frame of Tammy's chair and pushed. Tammy fell into the pool with a loud splash. "Still think I am not Falcon Tammy?" She glared up at him when she came up for air.
"You are really lucky you are pregnant or I would be kicking your ass for that." She climbed out the pool and stood above him. "That was so uncalled for. I didn't say anything to deserve that." She looked at Wolf when he started to laugh. "Shut it Wolf, I remember a few things about you too." Wolf stopped immediately.
"Relax Tammy; I was just proving I am Falcon. You said I was acting weird, so I had to prove who I was. You do look like the old Tammy now though." Tammy walked off to get changed into her bathing suit so her clothes could dry. "I think Tammy is mad at me Wolf. Maybe she is too mature for us now."
Both men gasped as a bucket of water was dumped over them. "What happened Falcon? I think you got a little wet." She started to laugh. "I figured you would at sometime throw me into the pool, so I came prepared. Since I can't push you into the pool while you're pregnant, I improvised. What is a party without the old pranks we used to pull?"
Falcon sat forward and pushed his hair out of his face. He smiled at Tammy. "Ok now that we have proved we are still our old selves let's get this party started. That was good Tammy. I figured something would happen. I have spare clothes in the car. I guess we all know each other too well even after all these years. How long has it been now? seven years right, well we still know each other after that longs means we are and used to be good friends." He hugged Tammy and kissed her cheek. "I am gonna put my swim trunks on. I will be right back."
"Are you mad at me Wolf? You were not part of the plan, but an innocent bystander. It is not my fault he clings to you life a babe to it's mother." Tammy smiled innocently as Wolf stood. She started to back away but Wolf caught her. He walked to the side of the pool at the deep end and threw her in. she swam to the surface and saw he was gone. She looked around and saw him with Jaz and Arya. "Sourpuss!" she climbed out the pool again and walked into the house. She ran into Falcon because she wasn't paying attention. He caught her as she started to fall. "Falcon I am so sorry are you ok?"
"I am fine, what happened to make you so out of it?" He helped her stand again. "Usually you were the safety patrol. What's wrong?" He led her to the couch and had her sit next to him. "Talk to me Tammy, what is wrong?"
"It's nothing, I was just thinking." Falcon looked at her wanting her to say what was bothering her. She sighed before looking at him. "It's just that all of you have happy lives. Everyone but me got married and has or soon will have children. I am like the fifth wheel. Marie is married and has two beautiful daughters. You and Wolf are married and expecting a boy and a girl. I am just plain old Tammy who has nothing." She looked out the window and Wolf and Marie playing with the girls.
"Tammy, you have us all. One day you will find the right person and you will have kids. It happens at a different period of time for everyone. You just need to look in places you never thought to look before. Do you know Falcon and I were only dating for 6 months when we learned I was pregnant? We only got married last month on our 1-year anniversary. But we have known each other since we were all in school together. At first, I thought my feelings for him were not placed correctly so I ignored them. It took seven years for me to tell him how I felt; I was just lucky enough that he felt the same way. You will find the person for you Tammy. Just pay close attention ok?"
She nodded and hugged him. "Good, we better get back out there before they think we ran away to Mexico together." Tammy laughed as they stood. She walked with Falcon out to the pool and found the girls swimming with Marie and Wolf. "Hey got room for a pregnant man and a crazy woman?" everyone laughed as Tammy and Falcon got in. Falcon sighed as he got into the water past his waist. "Ok, I really need to start using the pool at home. This feels great; all the weight from the babies is taken away. I can't feel it anymore, but I can still feel them trying to kick me to death." He laughed as he swam to Wolf. "Oh Wolf, I totally forgot how it feels to not be pregnant. I feel like I only weigh like I did 6 months ago. And it really is helping my back. I am really gonna be using the pool often at home. I think even the babies love it, they are snoozing. When I was getting in the pool, they started to kick. After a few minutes of being in the water, they went to sleep. I love it. This is definitely gonna be part of the routine till I go into labor."
"I am glad you are feeling better babe. When you go for your swims I will gladly join you." Wolf hugged Falcon and they just floated together. Jaz swam over to them and jumped onto Wolf's back. "Jaz, what are you doing> do I look like a dolphin to you?"
"Yes, now giddy up flipper." Falcon laughed as he floated with his head above the water. "Come on uncle Wolf, take me for a spin around the pool`, just like you used to." She started to giggle as he swam around with her on his back.
Arya swam over to Falcon. "Hey Arya, are you sure you can be out this far without your mom?" She nodded. "I am pretty sure your mom would get mad at us both if anything happened to you."
"Mom is too protective of us. We are not stupid or anything. And anything that is fun she doesn't want us to do." Arya said with a frown.
'I used to think that same thing when I was her age' Falcon thought to himself. "She just cares about you Arya. You and your sister mean everything to her. She went through a lot for you and she doesn't want anything bad to happen to you. One day when you're older, you will act the same way. Trust me; I used to be like you and now that I am gonna have kids I understand why my mom was so protective." Falcon looked over as his phone rang. "Tammy can you answer that for me?" She nodded. "We better get back to shore Arya. Lead the way I will follow you." Arya nodded and began to swim toward everyone else. He looked at Tammy when she held the phone out to him. "Who is it?"
"Your mom, she sounds nervous." She handed the phone to him and walked over to the grill.
"Hey mom, what is going on?" he sat on the stairs leading into the pool. "Yeah sure, no problem. Okay, I will bye." He climbed out the pool and walked to the table. "I will be right back. There is something I need to do." He turned and walked rather waddled to the car. He turned when Wolf grabbed his arm stopping him. "I will be right back Wolf, I promise. There is just something I need to do alone, and then I will come right back ok. Please just trust me." Wolf nodded and hugged him before letting him go. "Thank you for understanding, I will be right back." He walked to the car and readjusted the seat before starting it and driving away.
Falcon pulled into his mom's driveway and parked behind her car. He looked at the other car with wonder. Althea didn't say what was going on, just that he needed to come over alone. Falcon walked into the house and saw his mom sitting with a strange man. "Mom, what is going on? Who is he?"
"Falcon I want you to meet someone. Falcon this is Zacarias, he's your father. He came over saying how sorry he was and he wanted to meet you." Althea walked to Falcon and hugged him.
"That is the man that wanted you to kill me before he knew me. That is the man who left you and when he saw you with me when I was four said you should have killed me. Why does he care about me now? What because I got married and made something of my life I am important to him?" He looked at Zacarias with anger. "For all I care he can go back to ignoring us. Why would he want anything to do with us now?"
"Because your mom meant a lot to me. She was the first woman I ever loved. I now know that leaving her alone and pregnant was wrong. But we were only 18 and I didn't want a baby. It was the dumbest thing I ever did. I wanted to meet my child. If that is such a crime then so be it. But I had a right to meet you."
"NO! You lost that right the day you told mom she should have aborted me when she had the chance. Only a person who doesn't really care says something like that. I am sad to admit my father is an asshole. All you care about is your image." Falcon's face turned red with anger.
"Falcon stop." Althea grabbed his arm to soothe him. He jerked his arm free and walked towards Zacarias. "Falcon stop it before you get hurt. I don't want Wolf yelling at me cause something happened to you or the babies again." Falcon stopped and looked back at her. He sighed and walked back to her.
Zacarias raised an eyebrow. "Babies? My son is pregnant? How is that even possible? Boy's don't get pregnant, what did you do give birth to a faggot? My grandchildren will be fucked up as well. I feel bad for them, no mother just fathers."
"That is enough. you can pick on me all you want but you will not pick on my children. Now you can leave peacefully or I can call the police, most of them are my friends. Make up your mind Zacarias; I will kick you out myself if I have to." He followed Zacarias to the door. "I don't want you near my family ever again. You will regret it if you come anywhere near us again. Now Get Out!" Once Zacarias left, he walked back to the living room and sat down.
"Honey are you ok? Talk to me Falcon." Althea said as she said next to him and put her arms around him. She sighed as Falcon began to cry. "Falcon, it's ok don't cry. I am sorry you had to meet him, but I didn't want you to meet him alone and he just showed up here. I am so sorry baby, please talk to me."
"Mom, it isn't your fault. Like I said, all he cares about is his image and how people see him. He never cared about us; it was all a big lie just to see what would happen. I know you had nothing to do with it and I know you made the right choice about keeping me." He got a tissue and wiped the tears from his eyes. "That man went too far, I cannot believe he said my children would be fucked up just because of who their parents are. I just want to punch something, but I can't do that cause whatever I do can hurt the babies. This is so annoying." He ran his hand through his hair.
He stood and walked to the door. "Falcon where are you going?" She stood up and followed him.
"Back to Wolf, we are all at Tammy's celebrating Tomas getting a life sentence without the possibility of parole. I was there when you called me. I have to get back; Wolf was worried enough just letting me leave on my own." He got into the car and started it. "Mom call me if he ever comes back ok? I am not gonna let him hurt us anymore." She nodded before she kissed his cheek and backed away from the car so he could leave.
~~~~
When he got back Arya and jazz ran to him and hugged him, he let them pull him back to the pool to join everyone else. He wadded out to Wolf and hugged him tightly. "Hey what is going on? What happened at your mom's house babe? You seem upset?"
"Can we talk about it later on; I just need to be around people I love right now." Wolf nodded and let Falcon hug him. They both just floated there until Marie came over. She could tell Falcon was distressed. She had asked Tammy to take the girls inside for lunch.
"Hey, what is going on? Everyone can see you are distressed Falcon, what is it? Did something happen?" Marie rubbed his back as Wolf led him to the edge of the pool.
"Yeah, my dad happened. That was the reason I left, he showed up at mom's saying he wanted to see me. At first, he was nice, or at least trying to be. I just looked at him and snapped. Mom had told me before the wedding that he had left us cause she got pregnant with me. At first, I didn't care what he said, but then he picked on my children. He said cause their mom is a man they would me fucked up or have mental problems. I wanted to hit him, but I just kicked him out and told him I didn't want him near my family ever again. I just wish I had never seen him." Marie and Wolf hugged Falcon as he cried.
"Hey calm down honey. You did the right thing, I know it may have hurt but you did the right thing. Everything will be ok. You need to calm down the babies are getting upset love. they don't like it when their mommy is upset." Wolf hugged Falcon close to him and rubbed his back as he cried.
"Falcon Wolf is right; if the man didn't care back then he is nothing now. he is just another asshole that means nothing to us. Just forget about him, there isn't gonna be anything wrong with Crimson and Blade. His way of thinking is just wrong. All that matters is that you care about your children." She smiled at Falcon when he looked at her. He smiled back and hugged her before wiping away his tears.
Falcon smiled when a huge wave of water hit the three of them. The girls had jumped into the pool at the same moment showering them in a wave of water. He watched them swim to the surface next to him. He pushed the water making a wave that went over them. "Who do you think you are splashing you little brats? You can ask around I was champion. I can kick ur butts any day." He smiled when both girls jumped into his arms and clung to him. He laughed as they kissed him. "Hey take it easy on the love, Crimson and Blade might get jealous. I am supposed to be their mommy not yours." He smiled when Wolf took Jaz and left him with Arya. "What do you say about us attacking your uncle and sister? We can just swim up behind them and attack, does that sound good?"
They both swam up behind Wolf and Jaz. Falcon grabbed Wolf and Arya grabbed her sister. Wolf laughed as Falcon tickled him. Falcon continued to tickled Falcon till a shadow fell across them and the girls. He looked up expecting to see Tammy. He was surprised when he looked up and saw the person standing there. "What are you doing here?" He immediately moved over to the girls and put himself in front of them to protect them.

"What are you doing here?" He immediately moved over to the girls and put himself in front of them to protect them. "I told you to stay away from me and my family. Are you that stupid that you can't follow orders?" Wolf understood immediately and ushered Jaz and Arya to their mother. He came back to Falcon and stood next to him. Falcon looked at him without turning his gaze from the person. "Wolf, meet my father Zacarias." He looked back at his dad. "How did you find me Zacarias?"
Zacarias had a look of anger on his face. "It is not that hard to find that car. It is the only one in the state." He looked at Wolf. "Let me guess, you are the father of the bastard children growing in my son right? I should have known. Who are the little girls you were protecting? Daughters from a previous marriage?" His voice was slurred and his breath smelled of beer. "I should have made Althea kill you when she told me about you."
Wolf looked at Marie and saw her on her phone nodding. He knew already she had called the police. He saw Jaz and Arya in the house with Tammy. "DO NOT talk about my children that way. Falcon was right, you are and asshole. I thought you were told to stay away from us. Now this is your only chance, you will leave now or I will make you regret coming here." Wolf led Falcon out of the pool towards the house. He left Falcon with Marie. "Make up your mind now."
"I am not going anywhere, you can't do anything to me. I have a right to be around my son. As his father I have a right to be near him." He walked toward Falcon and Wolf stepped in front of him. "Move child, I want to see my son not you."
"You have no right to see your son Zacarias. You lost that right when you left his mother when she was pregnant. You no longer have any rights where my husband is concerned." He smiled when he heard the police sirens as the cars got closer. Zacarias looked towards the sound with fear. "I gave you the chance to leave Zacarias, but you decided to stay. The good thing about my job, I know how to distract you while I waited for the police my sister called. Never mess with a lawyer Zacarias. Hope you enjoy your stay in the county jail and by tomorrow morning we will have a restraining order on you." He smiled as David cuffed Zacarias. "We need to stop meeting like this David."
"Yeah, who is this bum?" David looked at the man and back at Wolf.
"That is Zacarias, he is Falcon's father. Earlier he saw Falcon and Falcon told him to stay away. He showed up here a few minutes before we called. I will stop by later to fill out a restraining order against him. Right now I want to get back to my husband, he is pretty shaken up." He watched David put Zacarias in the squad car before walking back to Falcon and Marie. "How are you feeling babe?"
"Like I want to shove his head through a wall. Now you see why I was upset when I came back. I cannot believe he followed me here. I just want to kill him, not saying I will but I want to. Again he had the nerve to pick on my children. I am glad you send me over here or I would have punched him. I have had enough, why do I attract crazy people?" He sighed when Wolf sat behind him and pulled him against his chest. "I know one thing, he is stupid. Did you hear Marie? He thinks Arya and Jaz are Wolf's daughters from a previous marriage." The three of them burst out laughing. "Marie I cannot believe you would do something like that." He laughed again as Wolf put his hand over his stomach. Falcon put his hand over Wolf's. "Thanks for defending us honey." He sighed as he leaned into Wolf more.
Arya and Jaz ran out and hugged Falcon after they made sure he was alright. The rest of the day went without trouble. As the sky darkened Marie hugged Falcon as Wolf carried the girls to the car. They had fallen asleep in the patio chairs by the pool. Falcon stood and walked into the house as he started to feel cold through his pants and long sleeved shirt. Tammy walked in and looked at him. "Why aren't you still outside, I know how much you love to look at the sky."
"You are right, but I was starting to feel cold. Normally I would still be out there but I have to think about Crimson and Blade now too. But once they are born I will be outside as often as possible." He rubbed his stomach lovingly as he leaned back on the leather couch. "You did a real job at fixing up this house Tammy. I remember how it was when your parents moved out, this place looked like shit. But you made it look like the beautiful Victorian house it is." "Thanks Falcon, and I can really say you have done good with your life too. I noticed your house is close to the old fort."
"Actually it is on the property. Just walk back to the tree line and you will see it. We brought the hammock up to the house cause the babies like the rocking motion of it." Falcon looked up when Wolf walked back into the house. "Hey babe, I am guessing the girls didn't even wake up did they?" He shook his head no as he sat next to Falcon. "I am guessing your sister is happy we tired them out then."
"Yeah, what are Crimson and Blade doing?" He put his hand over Falcon's stomach. "Wow, they are out too. I guess our big day gave them a work out too huh?" Falcon nodded and leaned his head on Wolf's shoulder. He smiled at Tammy when he heard Falcon snoring quietly a few seconds later. "Poor guy, I am surprised he stayed awake this long. Usually he takes a nap around five. I guess he was enjoying himself too much to be tired until now."
"Well from what we learned in health so many decades ago, the baby or babies in his case can make the mother tire easier. I half expected him to pass out on the patio with Marie's kids. But he came in here saying he felt cold, maybe that was all that was keeping him awake. If you want you two can stay here tonight, that way you won't have to wake him to get him out to the car."
"Thanks for the offer, but I have to get home. And don't worry I can get him home without waking him, I have done it before. I will just need you to help me a little." He stood up and picked up Falcon cradling him to his chest. "Can you grab the bags and follow me please. I am gonna need you to open the car door." Once he had Falcon in the passenger seat and buckled in her closed the door and threw the bags in the trunk. He turned back to Tammy. "Thanks for the help today and thanks for making it an enjoyable day even though we had unexpected visitors." He hugged her before getting in the car, starting it, and driving away.
~~~
Wolf woke the next morning in bed in his nightclothes. He was covered in a blanket, he opened his eyes and looked for Wolf. He went downstairs and saw a note on the table. Falcon, I left early and went into town to fill out the restraining order. After that I am going to work, I will be back later to tonight. If you need anything call me. -Wolf He rummaged through the fridge until he got everything he needed to make bacon and an omelet. He had just turned off the stove and set his plate on the table when the phone rang. He looked at the caller id and didn't recognize the number so he let the machine get it. 'Falcon this is your mother, pick up the phone.' He turned off the answering machine after he picked up the phone. "Hey mom, what's going on and where are you calling from? Oh ok, I will see you soon mom. Love you too bye." He sat back down to his breakfast as he waited for his mom to show up.
After waiting for an hour he laid on the couch to watch TV. He must have fallen asleep cause he woke to Althea gently shaking him. He rubbed his eyes and sat up. "What took you so long to get here? You called over three hours ago."
"Sorry about that, something came up. I wanted to talk to you about yesterday. I heard that Zac followed you to Tammy's house after you left. And before you ask Wolf is not the one who told me, Tammy and Marie told me when they called this morning. They seemed really worried about you. I wanted to make sure you were ok. He didn't hurt you did he?" She sat across from Falcon on the coffee table.
"Not physically. He had the nerve to ask Wolf if he was the father of the bastard children growing in his son. I wanted to rip his throat out, but Wolf had me sit with Marie by the house while he talked to him. Wolf filled out a restraining order this morning. Zac even thought Arya and Jaz were Wolf's daughters from another marriage because we were protecting them. He was drunk, we could smell the beer on his breath and his words were slurred. I can say one thing, he is a real idiot."
"I am so sorry that happened baby. I wish I was there so I could have kicked his butt. Are you sure, you're ok?" she looked at him with worry and wonder.
He hugged reassuringly. "Mom, I am fine really. Crimson and Blade are trying to annoy me but I am fine. Do you really think Wolf would let anything happen to me or his children?" He grinned at her. "Relax already mom, the cops took Zac away, he never had a chance to hurt me or the babies. Wolf kept him distracted while we waited for the cops to show up."
"Fine, but I am sorry you had to meet him Falcon. I knew it was a bad idea, but I didn't want him to hunt you down either so I went with you coming to us. I hope you never have to see him again honey. I wish things had been better when you met him. I could tell that it was not everything you hoped it would be, but at least you got it over with. If we are lucky, you will never have to worry about him again. But from now on if anything does happen I better hear it from you instead of your friends, is that understood young man."
"Yeah mom, but one problem, I am not a young man anymore. I haven't been a young man since these two," He rubbed his stomach. "Were conceived. But I doubt you want to hear that huh?" he smiled when his mom looked grossed out. "But anyway that is not the point. If anything happens, I will remember to tell you. I would have told you yesterday but we all were having too much fun and I fell asleep on Tammy's couch. I woke up this morning in my bed with a note on Wolf's pillow telling me he left early."
"Well I am glad you had fun even though things turned bad for a minute." She stood and hugged him. "I have to go honey. And Falcon you will always be my young man no matter what." She kissed him cheek before leaving. Falcon laid back on the couch rubbing his stomach attempting to soothe Crimson and Blade.
~~
Wolf came home to find Falcon on the couch rubbing his stomach. He walked up to him silently not wanting to disturb Falcon. He smiled when he heard Falcon start to talk to the babies. He leaned against the stairs and just listened. "Why don't you kids ever calm down huh? Are you trying to torture me? I just wanted to apologize to both of you. A few days ago, I said something I regret. You may not understand me but I said I didn't want to be pregnant with you anymore. I learned it was not how I really felt. I am glad that I am pregnant with both of you. You two mean everything to me, no matter what I say I am proud you are in my life." He wiped a tear from his eye. "My little angels right? What would I do without you two and your daddy?"
"You would be bored and depressed." Falcon sat up and looked toward the stairs. "Hey relax, it's only me. I didn't mean to scare you." Wolf walked to him and kissed him. "How are you feeling today?" He sat next to Falcon on the couch and started to rub his stomach. "I fixed the problem with your dad, the restraining order is final. Zac won't be a problem anymore. Have you been having a good day?"
"Yeah, it has been ok, mom came over today. She thinks it is her fault that Zac followed me. I don't understand why she would think that either, it had nothing to do with her. He is just an asshole that needs to learn his lesson." He leaned into Wolf with a sigh of contentment.
Wolf sat on the couch in the living room as Falcon took a shower. He was starting to wonder if his husband is ok, Falcon had been in the shower for the past 45 minutes. He got up, walked to the bathroom, and knocked on the door. "Falcon are you ok?" There was no answer. "Falcon?" He started to worry as he pushed open the door; he smiled happily at what he saw. Falcon was sitting on the floor of the shower with his hands over his stomach. His head was leaning against the back of the shower stall.
Wolf smiled and sat on the toilet to watch Falcon, after a few minutes he turned off the water. Falcon gasped as he opened his eyes; the cold air on his wet skin had woken him from a sound sleep. Wolf helped Falcon up as he wrapped a towel around him. "You know babe, I have noticed you fall asleep a lot more often lately. Are you feeling ok?" Falcon nodded as he tried to stifle a yawn. "Have you been sleeping at night?" Falcon shook his head. "Honey why didn't you tell me? You shouldn't be suffering like this."
Falcon smiled when Wolf led him to their room. Wolf helped Falcon onto the bed and laid next to him. "No sex; too tired." Wolf just laughed and pulled Falcon close. He began to rub small circles on Falcon's stomach in an attempt to soothe his children. Wolf sighed when his children fell asleep and Falcon followed suit a few seconds later. Wolf laid with him all day until it was time to make lunch.
~~~~~
Falcon stretched as he woke, his hands migrated to his stomach as Crimson and Blade kicked. "You two don't plan on letting me sleep very often do you?" He smiled when the babies kicked in response to his voice. "You're lucky I love you. You have no idea how hard this is for me. I can't even see my feet anymore. I still know I have feet cause they hurt constantly. If not for your daddy I would go insane." He began to draw a design on his stomach with his finger.
Wolf stood in the doorway with a tray of food; he heard Falcon's entire conversation. You would not go insane without me around. You would find someone to help you; I can name four people that would help at the drop of a hat." Falcon raised and eyebrow. "So, how was your nap anyway? Did you get some sleep?" Falcon nodded. "Let me guess, they woke you up?"
"Yeah, but I don't mind. I like to feel them moving around; it makes me feel good. And I am happy when they are healthy. So I made a deal with them, let me sleep every once in a while and they can do whatever they want." He sat up when Wolf came forward with the tray. "Sit with me." He patted Wolf's side of the bed. "Please honey, it gets lonely when you're not around. They only calm down when they hear you talking."
"Well then, you will have to stay with me pretty often. You know that Dr. Taylor said they could recognize our voices now. She said they even recognize the sound of the car and a few people that we talk to often." Wolf said with pride.
"They must be smart like their daddy." Falcon patted his stomach gently. "I wonder who they will look more like. I mean who will they act like? Will they have a combination of our looks or will one look like me and the other like you? Have you ever thought of that?" Wolf nodded. "It is always on my mind. I mean look at jazz and Arya; they are an exact copy of Marie but they have Henry's hair color."
"I know, and just think one day Crimson and Blade will be running around like jazz and Arya do. We will definitely have our hands full when they are older. We might be ripping our hair out often." Wolf laughed when Falcon's hands went to is long hair. "Relax babe, we will make sure you can keep your hair, it's too pretty to lose" Falcon laughed and hugged Wolf.
Wolf picked up a book and started to read. He looked at his chest when Falcon laid next to him and rested his head there. Wolf smiled as he started to rub Falcon's back. "I love you Falcon, never leave me ok?" Falcon grunted in his sleep. Wolf moved his hand to Falcon's stomach; he would occasionally see a foot pressing against Falcon's skin. "Take it easy you two, your mom is trying to sleep. So cool it, both of you have been keeping him up all night. Why do you only relax when I talk huh? You would think Falcon could calm you better than I can since u hear him all day. Why is my voice so special?" Wolf smiled when he felt the babies fall asleep.
~~~~
Falcon smiled as Wolf led him into the house. "You know Wolf I talked to Dr. Taylor and learned something." Wolf looked at his lover with curiosity. "We can have sex." Wolf's eyes brightened immediately. "So how about we go to our room and have late honey moon sex?" Wolf picked Falcon up cradling him to his chest and headed to their room. Falcon looked at Wolf when he stopped in the hallway. "I'm too heavy aren't I?"
Wolf laughed. "No, I stopped to do this." He leaned his head down and kissed Falcon passionately. "And before you say it you're not fat, you're pregnant with our children." He continued on his path and kicked open the door to their room. He placed Falcon on he bed gently. "I've been waiting a long time for this." He sat on the bed and crawled up Falcon's body. "I love you so much Mr. Anderson."
"Really? Prove it." Falcon moaned when Wolf kissed his neck. "Why do you have to drag it out Wolf? Just do me, please do me." Falcon was pleading, Wolf pulled Falcon's shirt over his head. He smiled when he saw a little foot pressing against Falcon's skin; he put his hand over the foot and rubbed gently. Falcon grabbed Wolf's hand. "Play later!" Wolf smiled and obliged. He kissed Falcon's stomach before removing Falcon's pants. "Hey, no fair, lose the clothes!"
Wolf slowly removed his clothes. "Happy?" Falcon nodded. "Good." He sat by Falcon and started to play with little Falcon. He smiled when Falcon moaned again. He helped Falcon lay on his side before resting Falcon's leg over his own. "You ready?" Falcon nodded. "Ok." He slowly pushed into Falcon afraid he might hurt him. Both men groaned when he was all the way in. "Are you and the babies ok?" Falcon nodded again.
He started to thrust in and out. He stopped when Falcon groaned. He was about to ask if he was ok when Falcon ground against him. He laughed and continued to thrust into Falcon. He sighed when he climaxed, both men just laid there connected intimately. "I have really missed that." Falcon replied as he rubbed his stomach. "They fell asleep; I guess the rocking motion put them to sleep. We found a way to soothe the little monsters we call our kids." Wolf pulled out and laid on his back. Falcon laid next to him and put his hand on Wolf's chest. Wolf put his arm around Falcon and rested his hand over their children.
~~~~
Falcon was in the guest room down the hall. David was supposed to be over any minute; he smiled when the doorbell rang. "Come in!" he looked at the door when he heard David's footsteps. "Hey David, I am so glad you could help me out. You can't tell Wolf about this; he has no idea I am doing any of this." David nodded. "I need you to help me move things; I can't exactly move most of this stuff now." David smiled and nodded in agreement.
"How are the twins? I hope that stint with Tomas didn't have any lasting affect on them. Wolf was really upset when they rushed you to the hospital." He put down the table he was moving and looked at Falcon.
"You know I really don't remember much of what happened. I remember Tomas coming into the room and I remember him trying to kick my stomach, but after that, everything is a blur. The next clear memory is waking in the hospital." Falcon sat on the bed with his hands over his stomach protectively. "I only know the rest cause of the case."
David walked over to Falcon and sat next to him. "Hey, you ok?" Falcon nodded. "You don't look ok, you look like you're gonna cry." Falcon shook his head; he leaned against David with a sigh. David hugged Falcon and rubbed his back. "Hey relax; everything is fine; Tomas won't get out anytime soon. And if anything does happen, I know a small army that would protect you and the twins." Falcon smiled and rubbed his stomach. "Now come on, we have a nursery to create."
~~~~
Falcon looked around the now empty room. There were cans of paint on the floor. He had chosen to make the room into a mural; he would paint a sunrise over one crib and a sunset over the other. David left an hour ago to go to work but promised to come back tomorrow; tomorrow they would paint the nursery. Falcon sat on the couch in the living room right as the car pulled into the driveway.
Wolf walked into the house and immediately looked concerned. He walked into the living room and sat next to Falcon. "Hey babe, why do you look exhausted? Did the twins keep you awake again?" Falcon nodded; at least he wasn't lying completely. "Oh honey." He hugged Falcon affectionately. "Well I am gonna make dinner then we will take a long bath followed by a soothing massage, then hopefully you'll be able to sleep."
Falcon nodded weakly and laid on the couch as Wolf went to make dinner. He groaned when he heard a knock at the door. He got up and went to see who was bothering them. He opened the door and was immediately attacked by his nieces. "Hey girls." He looked up at Marie. "What are you guys doing here?"
"Well we were in the area and the girls begged to stop and say hi. I hope it's not a problem." Falcon looked toward the kitchen when he heard Wolf and the girls laughing. He waved Marie in and laid back on the couch. "What's up with you Falcon? You're acting like you just gave birth."
Falcon laughed. "Actually I spent all day working on something." Marie nodded in understanding. "Well because of that my internal battery is pretty much dead." He groaned when the babies started to kick. "Why do they always move when I'm trying to relax?"
"Cause it's what babies do; they usually sleep when you're moving around cause the rocking motion soothes them. But when you sit down they wake up." Falcon rubbed his stomach in the hopes of calming his kids. "Try taking a hot bath, it works wonders on your muscles and the babies will like it too."
"Falcon nodded. "That is in the plans for later. Wolf went to make dinner a few minutes before you knocked." He continues to rub his stomach trying to soothe his monstrous children. "How have you been? Did seeing my father leaving any lasting effects on the girls?"
"We have been fine; the girls don't say anything about your dad. The only thing that they said is that they are worried about you and their cousins." Marie looked up as the girls ran into the room; they sat by Falcon's feet on the couch.
Marie was about to scold them when Falcon sat up. He hugged both girls close and smiled. "What are you two doing?" jazz and Arya laughed. "Why are you laughing? Is something bothering you?" they laughed as he started to tickle them. He stopped and looked up when Wolf walked in. "Hey babe, want to join us?" Wolf smiled and sat with them.
~~~
Falcon and Wolf sat in the waiting room of Dr. Taylor's office. Falcon was reading a pregnancy magazine as Wolf tapped his leg. "Honey calm down; I am the one getting the damn amniocentesis not you. How is it I'm getting stabbed with a needle twice and you're the nervous one?" Falcon asked as he looked at Wolf over the top of the magazine.
"Well I am nervous about you and the babies. And I am kinda scared of needles." Wolf laughed nervously. "Why do you need to have an amnio done anyway?"
"Because it can tell us if the twins have any problems. It can tell us if they have any diseases or anything. Now relax, everything will be fine." He looked up when the nurse called his name. He set the magazine down before getting up and leading Wolf to the exam room. He sat on the table and thanked the nurse. "See honey, everything is fine." He watched Wolf pace from wall to wall.
Dr. Taylor walked in five minutes later; she looked at Falcon and smiled. "Hey Falcon, how are you feeling?" She looked at Wolf and raised an eyebrow. "Is he ok?" Falcon nodded. "Alright, according to your files you're getting an amnio today." Falcon laughed when Wolf cringed.
"Yup." They both looked at wolf. "Don't mind him, he's scared of needles." Falcon laid back when instructed so the ultrasound could be done first. "Wow, they are getting so big. Even though I feel them moving around it feels surreal; it feels like a dream."
"Well they are healthy which is a good thing. Now time for the amnio." Falcon looked at Wolf reassuringly. "Wolf, will you be ok watching this?" Wolf nodded as Dr. Taylor grabbed the need and turned to Falcon. "You need to remain perfectly still ok?" he nodded. "Alright, this will hurt for a second so be prepared." Falcon watched the sonogram machine as the needle appeared next to his son. Five minutes later Dr. Taylor removed the needle and labeled it. "Alright Falcon, time for your daughter's."
Falcon winced as the needle went through his skin. He felt a slight movement from Crimson, on the monitor it looked like she turned towards the needle. She acted like she was wondering what invaded her little home. "Relax Crimson, it's ok." He said hoping to reassure his daughter. He sighed when she stopped moving and looked at Wolf in a loving manner.
Wolf watched in horror as Falcon's face contorted in pain. "FUCK! Get that needle out now! God dammit!" Wolf ran to him and held him down. Once the needle was removed everyone saw it had a slight bend to it. Wolf looked to Falcon in question; Falcon was rubbing where the needle had been in his stomach. "Dammit! Crimson kicked the needle; she kicked the fucking needle!"
Wolf hugged his lover. "Sh, calm down honey. Maybe she is afraid of needles like me." He rubbed Falcon's stomach in a soothing manner.
"She wasn't afraid she attacked it, I watched her on the monitor; she turned towards the needle and kicked it! You told her to do that didn't you?" Wolf shook his head. "Great! It figures Crimson would be a fighter like me, damn that hurt. Why can't she be a passovist like you?"
~~~~
20 minutes later they left the office and headed home. Falcon groaned when he got out of the car. He pushed Wolf away when he tried to help him. He opened the door and made a b line to the couch. He lifted his shirt to inspect the damage his daughter created. He sighed at what he found, on the right side of his stomach was a bruise around the tiny hole from the needle. "Figures." He looked at Wolf when he heard him wince. "Why do we have to be the parents of a rebellious daughter?"
Wolf shook his head and sat next to Falcon wrapping his arms around him. "We got a rebellious daughter cause she is trying to be like her momma. We can be sure of one thing; she won't let anyone take advantage of or hurt her." Falcon laughed and turned on the TV.
--Blade on the floor, Blood on her wrist, She'll never know, How much she'll be missed--
Falcon woke to a surprise, there was a trail of plastic Easter eggs on the floor. He got out of bed and followed them. The trail ended by the kitchen door; he pushed it open and laughed when he saw one Easter basket sitting on the table. He walked to the basket and looked at the note inside.
Falcon, So we have reached Easter as a family. I know that Crimson and Blade won't remember their first Easter, but I want to make it one we will remember. Make sure you wear something nice tonight; we're going out to dinner. -Love Wolf
Falcon reread the note three more times before looking at the contents of the basket. He smiled when he saw the basket was full of chocolate treats. He rubbed his stomach gently as his children stretched inside him. "Happy Easter you two. It seems your daddy has a plan for us tonight." He took a chocolate bunny out of the basket and bit off it's ear. "Hopefully you two will be good so daddy and I can have some fun." He sighed when his phone rang.
He picked it up on the forth ring, "Hello?" There was no answer. "Hello? Is anyone there?" Again no answer; he hung up the phone and sat on the couch with his chocolate bunny. He ate more of it and looked up when he heard the doorbell. He walked to the door and looked through the peephole. He smiled when he saw Tammy on the other side. He opened the door and hugged Tammy with a smile. "Hey Tammy, happy Easter." They walked into the living room and sat on the couch. "So how are you doing?" He began to attack his bunny again.
"Good, I have a reason for my visit you know. I got a date tonight. A few weeks ago I met this man at the store and we kinda hit it off. We have been dating ever since. I need some advice, this guy means a lot to me." Tammy ran a hand through her head.
Falcon was shocked. "Are you seriously coming to a pregnant man for advice?" Tammy nodded. "Ok, what do you want to know?"
"Well, i thing the guy may really be the one for me. I am hoping he will propose or something. Is there anyway to see if he feels the same way as I do for him?"
"Well it may sound stupid, but just ask him. The worst thing he can do is say no. That is what I did with Wolf; I just kissed him and asked him how it made him feel. We've been together ever since." He rubbed his stomach lovingly.
Tammy watched him with envy. "Yeah, I guess you're right. So new topic, how are things with the twins? And how does it feel being seven months pregnant?"
"Things could be better; they were fine but my last prenatal exam didn't go so well." Tammy looked concerned. "I had an amnio done and things were ok til we were doing the amnio for Crimson; she kicked the needle! There was a slight bend in the needle and i had a bruise that lasted a week."
"Oh wow! That proves one thing; Crimson is just like you. I hope wolf can handle a mini version of you running around. I wonder what made Crimson attack the needle anyway. Well all I know is she's a fighter like you. You may need to get advice from your mom on how to handle her." Falcon nodded. "I can't wait to see how it goes."
*~*~
Falcon decided he was gonna visit Wolf at work. He had his mom drive him. He got to the waiting for Wolf's office, he smiled at the secretary. "Hey Kathy, is Wolf busy?" She shook her head and smiled. "Can I go see him?" She nodded and he walked away. He didn't even knock when he got to the pocket doors.
Wolf looked up from the pile of papers when he heard the doors open. "Falcon! Hi honey." He sat up and walked to Falcon. He hugged Falcon gently and kissed his cheek. He closed the door and led Falcon to his chair. "Sit down. So, why did you decide to visit me today?"
"Well Crimson and Blade missed their daddy." Wolf sat on the desk across from Falcon. "So what do you have planned for tonight?" Wolf shook his head. "You're cruel you know." He leaned forward and kissed Wolf. "Thanks for the Easter basket full of chocolate. The twins and I loved it."
"I'm glad you liked it, I hoped you would. It was hard enough to keep hidden in the house. Usually you can smell chocolate a mile away." Both men laughed. Falcon grabbed Wolf's hands and put them over his stomach. "It is still a wonderful feeling when I feel them moving." Wolf jumped when his intercom buzzed. "Yes Kathy?"
"Your 11:00 AM just called and canceled. I rescheduled them for 12:00 Thursday."
"Thanks Kathy." He looked at Falcon. "Since I have two hours til my next appointment do you want to go out?" Falcon smiled. "Alright come on." They walked into the waiting room together. "Kathy, I'm going out; I will be back for my 12:30 appointment." Kathy nodded. "So babe where do you want to go?" Falcon shrugged. "Well, how about we go to that burger place you love so much?" Falcon's face lit up. "Alright, to the burger place it is."
Falcon almost jumped out of the car when Wolf parked. He got out of the car and tripped over a rock. Wolf grabbed him before he fell. "Thanks honey, you know how much the twins love the burgers here. They are affecting my judgment and brain." Wolf laughed and wrapped an arm around Falcon to steady him. "Thanks honey."
Falcon waited at a table outside while Wolf got their orders. Wolf walked out five minutes later with a tray. He sat across from Falcon and smiled. "So Falcon, how is your first Easter as an Anderson going?" Falcon gave a thumbs up since his mouth was full of food; Wolf laughed. "You know i love you right?" Falcon nodded. "Good, I was afraid I wasn't telling you enough."
Falcon set his hamburger on the tray. "You tell me very often. You tell me everyday, and I love you just as much." He rubbed his stomach as the babies moved. "And I know Crimson and Blade love you too. They just went into a kicking frenzy."
"Are you sure they aren't reacting to the two hamburgers you just inhaled?" Falcon scowled at him. "Relax, I'm kidding. I'm trying to make you laugh." Falcon attacked a third burger. "How can you eat so much and not barf?" Falcon shrugged. "Well, i could never do that. You surprise me more and more each day."
*~*~
Wolf dropped Falcon off at the house before heading back to work. Falcon sat on the couch with his favorite book. He turned on his stereo and laid back on the couch with a sigh. He started to read and his eyes started to droop shut. He set the book on the coffee table. "You two always make me tired." They kicked in response. "Well, i am gonna take a nap, so try to keep the movement amount to a minimum ok?" The babies stretched and he felt them relax. "Thank you."
He bolted upright when he hear his phone ring. He looked around and noticed it was dark out. "Hello?" He rubbed his head. "Hey babe, what is going on?" He smiled when the twins moved. "Are you serious? But I wanted to go out tonight. Yeah, alright. I love you too, bye." He set his phone on the table with a sigh. He rubbed his stomach as he stared into the darkness. "Well kids, we aren't going out tonight. Daddy has some lawyer things to do so it's just the three of us." He had just noticed the stereo was still playing his Weird Al CD.
He turned on the lights before walking to the stereo and turning it off. He went into the kitchen to forage. He looked at the contents of the fridge and sighed. "How about we order a pizza? Is that ok with you two?" They kicked in response and he smiled. He called Pizza Palace and ordered a large sausage pie. He charged it to Wolf's credit card. When the doorbell rang he got up to collect his dinner. He took the pizza and went to the jacuzzi tub in the tub in the bathroom.
He filled the tub with water and turned on the massaging bubbles the babies love so much. He stripped and slowly slid into the tub. He sighed as the water went up to his chest covering his stomach completely. For a while he just laid back as the bubbles massaged his stress away. When his stomach growled he attacked the pizza. He was halfway through the pie when the babies kicked. "What is it kids, usually you sleep when I'm in the jacuzzi tub. Why the sudden change?" He sighed. "I must be an idiot, I'm trying to have a conversation with two unborn babies." He leaned back in the tub when the babies relaxed. "I wonder what what your daddy is doing right now." He fell asleep in the tub.
When Wolf finally got home it was 11:30 PM. He crept into the house hoping not to wake Falcon. He crept into their room and saw the bed was still made. He saw light under the door of the adjoining bathroom. He crept to the room and opened the door. He sighed when he saw Falcon sleeping in the tub. "Oh Falcon." He walked into the room and watched Falcon sleep. He shook Falcon's shoulder gently. "Falcon, baby wake up. We need to get you to bed." Falcon murmured in his sleep and turned onto his side. Wolf unplugged the stopper for the tub and waited for the water to drain. Once it did he wrapped Falcon in a towel and carried him to bed. He laid Falcon on the bed and covered him before getting into bed himself.
*~*~
Wolf woke at seven and went to make breakfast. He was downstairs making bacon and eggs when he heard Falcon behind him. "Hey Wolf. When did you get home last night and how did I get into bed?" He heard Falcon pull out a chair and sit down.
He set their breakfast on the table and sat down. "I got home at 11:30. I went upstairs to go to to bed. I noticed you weren't in it and saw light coming from the bathroom. I found you passed out in the jacuzzi tub. I tried to wake you but failed. So I pulled the stopper in the tub and and carried you to bed. I'm really sorry we didn't get to go out last night. One of my cases got re-evaluated and we didn't finish til 11:00." Falcon just nodded. "Honey, I'm really sorry. I wish I could make it up to you."
"I'll have to check my schedule first and see if I can give you and appointment. I don't want to ruin my precious schedule." Falcon finished his breakfast and went out to the hammock. He laid on it with a sigh, he smiled when he felt the babies kicking. "Good morning little ones. You must've slept pretty well last night since I actually slept." He rubbed he stomach gently and smiled when the twins moved to his touch. They seemed to follow his hand.
Wolf walked out and sat in the chair by Falcon. "Falcon, I said I'm sorry. I tried to get out of it but I couldn't. Please babe, I didn't mean for it to happen, it couldn't be changed." Falcon grabbed his book and started to read. "Falcon come on, won't you talk to me?" Wolf sighed when Falcon ignored him again. He got up and walked into the house.
He was about to go into his office when the doorbell rang. He walked to the door and opened it to find a crying Tammy. "Hey, what's the matter?" He led Tammy to the couch and sat with her. "Tammy, what happened to make you like you this?" She tried to tell him but was hysterical. "Tammy relax before you freak out!" She started to take deep breaths to calm herself. He looked at Falcon when he walked in. "Any idea why she's upset?"
"Yeah." He sat on her other side. "Tammy did he dump you?" She shook her head. "Is he married?" She looked at him with and angry scowl. "He proposed?" She nodded. "OH MY GOD! Please tell me you said yes." She nodded again and he hugged her. "Congrats, I'm so happy for you." She held out her hand showing the ring. "It's beautiful! I'm so happy for you. What is his name?"
"His name is Jacob Johnson. He's a-"
"A doctor at Warren Hospital?" Tammy looked surprised. "I went to college with him. How did you meet him?"
"I ran into him at the cafe in town. We ordered the same thing and the rest is gooey history. We've been going out for 2 months now." She laughed. How is it I get engaged to one of your college buddies?" Falcon shrugged. "Does this mean he will pass your test?"
"Maybe, any chance he can come for a visit tomorrow?" She nodded. "Cool, bring him over around noon ok?"
"Alright. So how was Easter dinner?" She looked between both men.
"It would've been good if my husband was there." She looked confused. "It was just me, the twins, a pizza, and the jacuzzi tub. He didn't come home til 11:30 cause a case was being re-evaluated." Falcon put his hand to his head. "Listen, I'm getting a headache. I'm gonna lie down." Falcon stood and walked to their room.
Tammy watched Falcon leave before looking at Wolf. "What is wrong with you? You got him all excited about dinner and then cut it off?!? Are you stupid? He was so excited, I know, i saw him yesterday afternoon. He couldn't wait for dinner with you and you went to a case re-evaluation! You must be an idiot!" She got up and left the house with a slam of the door.
*~*~
Falcon woke to the smell of something cooking in the kitchen. He walked downstairs and found Wolf cooking pork chops and his famous garlic mashed potatoes. He walked to Wolf and put his arm around him. "Dinner smells great, what is the occasion?"
Wolf turned off the stove and turned in Falcon's arms. "This is to make up for last night. I really didn't mean to cancel our Easter dinner. I tried to tell them I had to get home to my pregnant husband, but they thought I was joking. So to make it up to you I'm cooking your favs." He turned and finished making the mashed potatoes. Falcon kissed him before sitting down; Wolf set Falcon's plate in front of him before sitting with his own.
"Falcon looked at his plate with enthusiasm. "This looks great babe, I'm sorry about how I acted earlier, i was suffering from mood swings." Wolf nodded. "I know that you need to work for me and the babies. If not for you we would be poor as hell."
"Falcon, stop apologizing, I should've called you sooner than 1/2 hour before I was supposed to come home. I knew I messed up when I came home and found you asleep in the tub. You looked so peaceful, while I carried you to bed the twins yelled at me, they were kicking like crazy. I'm surprised that didn't wake you."
Falcon sat on the couch reading his book when the doorbell rang. He looked towards the door before sitting his book down and getting up. He looked through the peephole and smiled when he saw Tammy and Jacob. He opened the door and hugged Tammy. "Hey Tammy, Welcome back." He looked past Tammy at Jacob. "J.J. oh my god, you look the same. Come in, I have cookies and coffee." Tammy walked in and kissed his cheek. He was surprised when Jacob hugged him. He led them to the living room and sat in the recliner. "Long time no see J.J."
"Says the pregnant man, how have you been? I haven't talked to you since we graduated. And who is the man who put the ring on your finger and got you pregnant?" Falcon told Jacob everything that happened over the past 7 months. "Wow, dude that is creepy. I'm glad you're happy, do you still have those boots I made you?" Falcon nodded and pointed to the closet. "I'm surprised you haven't worn them out already."
"Wait, Jake made you the boots you love so much?" Both men nodded. "Well then, you're not gonna like me Jake." He looked confused. "I pick on Falcon and those boots." Falcon nodded when Jacob looked at him. "Oh my, I'm in trouble now." Jacob kissed her. "So you're not mad?"
"Of course not babe, I made fun of him too." Tammy tried to stifle a laugh. "Go ahead and laugh, the reason I made them is funny anyway." She looked at them both. "Mr. Casual over there heard my dad made shoes and he bet I couldn't make the perfect pair of boots. It took me three weeks to make them, but those boots in the closet are ones I made over 2 years ago."
"Yeah and I have kept them in perfect condition. I had to put them away once I reached the 6th month of my pregnancy cause they made my feet hurt. Right now they're in their special box so nothing will happen to them." Tammy tried not to giggle. "Oh hush Tammy; those boots are sentimental to me." She nodded and smiled when Jacob hugged her. "I am so happy you found each other. You're perfect for each other." He groaned; J.J jumped up. "Sit down J.J. My daughter is using my bladder as a punching bag, no need to freak."
Jacob nodded and sat back down. "Sorry, but seeing someone in pain makes me go into doctor mode. There is nothing I can do about it." falcon nodded; Jacob looked at his pager when it beeped. "Shit! I gotta go babe, there is an emergency at the hospital." He stood after kissing Tammy. "Falcon, it was great to see you. We should do this again some day." Falcon nodded; he looked at Tammy when the door closed.
"He passed Tammy." She smiled happily. "Relax Tammy, I'm happy for you. You finally found what Wolf and I have. And maybe soon you will have beautiful kids together." As if on cue the twins kicked again. "Let's just hope yours are calmer than mine. I can't really sleep anymore." He rubbed his stomach gently.
"Yeah, but you love them anyway. I can see the way you smile when they kick. He nodded.
*~*~
Falcon and Wolf decided to go for a walk and ended up sitting in the park. They were sitting on a bench while Falcon rubbed his stomach. "You ok babe?" Wolf asked with concern; Falcon nodded. "I'm guessing they're kicking huh?" Falcon nodded again, he grabbed Wolf's hand and put it over his stomach. "I'm sorry baby." Both men looked up when someone called to them.
"Excuse me, I don't men to bother you but I have a question." The voice came from a man in denim pants and a t-shirt. He stood next to a man in a long sleeved shirt and black pants. "My partner and I noticed you're pregnant and wondered if you could give us some advice. You see I just learned I'm pregnant and we have no idea what to do."
"Please sit down." Falcon said as he rubbed his stomach. The couple sat across from them. "I'm Falcon and this is my husband Wolf. How far along are you?"
"Two months. We heard it's heart beat last week. It was so cool to hear that. By the way I'm Rafe and this is my partner Tony." They all shook hands.
"Well Rafe, what do you want to know. I mean what do you want advice about really?" the men shrugged. "Well, it can be very testing. And I'm guessing you found out about the morning sickness?" Falcon laughed when Rafe cringed. Yeah, that should end soon. It ends by the fourth month of your pregnancy. After that it is pretty much smooth sailing. Also around the fourth month you'll start to show and feel it kick. Then you reach where I am and feel the kid kicking often. I'm 7 ½ months with twins and all they do is kick."
"Wow, that sounds wonderful. I can't wait to feel it move, it will make all the puking worth while." He said with a smile; he looked at Tony. "You hear that Tony, the puking will end!"
Tony laughed and hugged Rafe. "Alright, relax a little huh? You get too over excited and you pass out remember?" Rafe nodded and calmed some. "So Wolf, any advice for the non-pregnant partner?" Tony rubbed his hand over Rafe's leg.
Wolf smiled and hugged Falcon. "Well be prepared for the cravings, they can be anything from pickles to chocolate and cheese. Help Rafe anyway you can, but let him do things if he want to do them; he knows what his body can handle. And be prepared to give him massages as he gets further in the pregnancy. And he will tire more once he is about five months pregnant." Falcon scowled at Wolf. "What? It's true. You haven't had much energy lately and we all know it's not your fault."
Everyone laughed as Wolf blushed. "Relax babe, you might embarrass yourself and we don't want that do me?" Wolf shook his head. Falcon smiled when Wolf put a hand over his stomach. "And Rafe, Tony will always put his hand over your stomach to feel the kid move. He will get jealous cause you feel the baby move more than he does."
Rafe stood with Tony. "Thank you so much for talking to us. We have to go; we still need to tell our parents about the baby." They shook hands before walking away.
"Wolf, did you know there were other pregnant men in this town?" Wolf shook his head. "Wow. Well they're definitely nice people. Their kid will be lucky to have parents like them. Do you think our kids are lucky?"
Wolf kissed Falcon's cheek. "Of course they are. They have a momma who can kick ass and a dad who can play til sunset." Falcon slapped Wolf. "Hey! what was that for?"
"Cursing, I don't want them to pick up that habit. I want them to be well mannered and happy. I don't want them to turn out like I did. Before you met me I was a real bad kid; mom was always grounding me for something. Remember our first meeting?" *11 Years Before~
Falcon sat on his bed and threw his pillow across the room. His mother had just punished him for breaking the living room window. In a fit of anger he punched the glass shattering it to pieces. Althea wrapped bandages around his hand and rushed him to the hospital. He ended up with 15 stitches in his right hand. He winced at the pain coursing through his hand. He climbed out his window and walked down the street. He ran into a kid named Darrin. "Hey Darrin, what are you doing out here?"
"Nothing. Dude what happened to your hand?" he looked at Falcon's stitched up hand with wonder.
"I punched a window and got cut up. I got a few stitches but I'll be fine. I just have to be careful not to pop the stitches out." He bent and unbent his fingers repeatedly. "I'll see you later Darrin, I escaped so I could go for a walk." He walked down the street and stopped when he got to the park. He sat on a bench and pulled cigarettes out of his pocket. He lit one and sighed with content. He looked up when a kid ran past him screaming for help. The kid turned back and ran to him.
"Please, you gotta help me. This guy is after me, please help me!" the kid looked at him nervously. He looked past Falcon when he heard laughing. "Please. I'll do anything if you help me." Falcon stood and set the kid on the bench behind him. "Oh, thank you so much."
"Shut up, I don't need you distracting me." A group of kids ran to him, he recognized them immediately. "Hello Joey, we have a problem. You see, this kid behind me says you're trying to hurt him. Now if that is true you have to deal with me."
"Really, well it seems you're a little out numbered seeing as there are five of me and only one of you. And your hand is messed up." Joey cracked his knuckles as he smiled evilly at Falcon. Falcon just nodded and attacked Joey; Joey's men charged forward to help their leader. "NO! stay back, this is my fight. Falcon squared his shoulders and prepared for the oncoming punch. Joey swung and Falcon grabbed his wrist before the punch hit it's mark.
Falcon twisted Joey's arm behind his back until he squirmed in pain. He pushed Joey forward and he fell to the ground. "I'm warning you Joey, leave this kid alone or I will hurt you worse." Joey turned to the kid and grunted as he stood. "Leave Joey or I will make you regret it." Joey turned and ran; Falcon turned to the kid. "You alright?" the kid nodded. "What's your name?"
"Wolf, Wolf Anderson. Thank you so much for helping me. Joey has been after me for months. He says I owe him a favor." Falcon sat back on the bench and lit another cigarette. "You know, you souldn't smoke that. It's very dangerous."
"Yeah, mom says the same thing, but that doesn't change anything. Why don't you run home kid, your parents are probably worried about you." He puffed on his cigarette. Wolf turned to go, he turned back to Falcon. "What is it now?"
"what do I do if he comes after me again?"
"Tell him if he hurts you Falcon sangria will hunt him down." Wolf sighed nervously. "Relax wold, you're under my protection now." Wolf thanked him and walked away.
~Present*
"Wow, so that's why you were in the park that night. To think I fell in love with a guy who smoked when he was 15. and it took a while but now you're semi-normal. And luckily you don't smoke anymore which is good for the babies. You also don't fight as much as you did then either." Wolf kissed Falcon.
"Yeah, but if Crimson is like me we are in trouble. Before I met you I did more than punch windows. I used to be a bully, but you changed me. Now I'm a soon to be mom." Falcon sighed happily and noticed it was starting to get dark. "We better head home; I don't want a repeat of our first meeting." Wolf laughed, helped Falcon up, and walked home hand in hand.
Wolf smiled when they got home. He opened the door and screamed at what he found. People jumped out from behind the couch and in the closet. Falcon smiled as he put a hand on Wolf's shoulder. "Falcon, what the hell is this? Why is everyone here?"
"I think it's called a birthday party. AND BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING IT WASN'T MY IDEA." Wolf COCKED AN EYEBROW. "The twins thought of it. So I worked things around and here we are. I figured it was a good idea since you threw me a birthday/baby shower party for me." He smiled when Wolf looked at him. "Now how about we have fun and enjoy the cake our mothers made?" Wolf nodded and they went to the backyard where the party was being held.
Wolf walked out to the yard while Falcon walked beside him holding his hand. "You know Falcon, I forgot how devious you are. I should've suspected ther was a reason you wanted to go for a walk so bad, but no I figured you were being normal. Next time I must remember to question you first. This is a really nice Idea though, but I know you planned and thought of it." Falcon gasped in mock surprise. "Falcon I really doubt that our wonderful children know what a birthday party is yet. All they know is us and each other."
"Yeah, I guess you're right, but they helped some. I asked questions and they kicked in response. They may be smarter than we think. Whenever they hear you talking they stop whatever they're doing to listen to you. They know who their daddy is." Falcon rubbed his stomach affectionately. "You mean a lot to me and them." Falcon kissed Wolf as they reached the patio. "Happy birthday baby."
The party went on til 9:00 Pm. Falcon and Wolf sat alone in the kitchen. "Falcon I had a great time. I loved it all, h0w can I repay you?" Falcon stood and walked away beckoning Wolf to follow. "Oh, do I get birthday sex?" Falcon said nothing but kept walking. Falcon stood before a door. "Falcon what is it? our room is next door."
Falcon sighed. "Always has sex on the brain, just open the door." Wolf nodded and walked into the room with surprise. "Happy birthday from me and the kids. And no I didn't do all this on my own, David helped. He moved things and I painted." He walked behind Wolf and put his arms around him. "Do you like it?"
Wolf looked around the room in surprise. "Oh my god, it's beautiful, you really painted this?" Falcon nodded. "I never knew you could paint." He walked around the room running his hands over the furniture for his children. Falcon sat in the rocking chair in the corner. Wolf walked over and sat in front of Falcon. "This is wonderful honey. I love it and I know the babies will once they see it."
Falcon smiled and put Wolf's hands over his stomach. "You have no idea how happy you make me Wolf, because of you my life is perfect. Because of you mom doesn't have to worry about me being in jail."
"Yeah well if you ever end up in jail I know a good lawyer." both men laughed. "How about we go to bed. After everything that happened today you must be exhausted." Falcon nodded and they went into their room together.
Falcon sat in his room as his mom yelled at him. She found out he escaped last night and was yelling at him for it. "Falcon what do I do with you? Why can't you ever stay out of trouble? It seems like you're a magnet for trouble, according to you it always finds you."
"Yeah, yeah; well I didn't get into trouble last night. I sat in the park. Do you possibly want to know what time I got there and how many people I talked to?" Falcon sighed and laid back on his bed. He pulled his cigs out and lit one. Althea gasped at him. "Is there a problem?"
"I thought I told you to quit smoking. Do you want to be a dead beat like your dad?" Falcon shrugged. "If you keep it up you'll be just like him, it that what you want?" when Falcon didn't reply she walked out closing the door behind her.
Later that night Falcon walked out again. He was surprised when he saw Wolf sitting on his bench. "What are you doing back here? Did Joey chase you again?" Wolf shook his head. "Then why did you come here?"
"I didn't get to thank you properly last night. I was hoping you would show up tonight. I want to pay you back for what you did for me. I was kinda hoping that you would let me help you out." Wolf stood and walked over to Falcon. He stood in front of him nervously. "Is there anything I can do to thank you?"
"Actually there is something." He looked down at his hand. "With these stitches in my hand I can't really write anything. Maybe you can help me write my assignments. I'll do it; I just would need you to write it for me." Wolf nodded. "Cool, if you can meet me here around 4 tomorrow I'll take you to my house ok?" Wolf nodded. "Great, I'll see you tomorrow then." They parted and went their separate ways.
~*~*
At 4 the next day Falcon walked to the park and smiled when he saw Wolf waiting for him. "Hey you showed up." Wolf stood and smiled at him. "I want to thank you ahead of time for this. And I should warn you that my mom may be surprised to see you. She thinks I came out here to get in a fight. I'm kinda famous for fighting people."
"So what, people can change you know. Who would think the nerd and the bully are hanging out?" Falcon looked at Wolf with disbelief. "Yeah I'm the nerd, that is part of the reason people chase me." They walked to Falcon's house together. Althea met them at the door, her mouth gaped open in surprise.
"Mom close your mouth, you don't want to catch flies. This is my friend Wolf, he's gonna help me with my homework. We'll be in my room." Falcon walked away, Wolf said nothing but followed him. "That was my mom Althea." Wolf looked around with surprise; he figured Falcon's room would look like a garbage dump but everything was neat and in it's place. "You can sit at the desk if you want." Falcon walked to the window and sat on the window seat.
Wolf pulled out the desk chair and sat down. Falcon pulled out a cigarette and lit it. "Alright, what do you want to start on?" He noticed the cigarette. "I don't care if you smoke, but can you open the window?" Falcon nodded and pushed open the window. "Maybe you want to ruin your lungs, but I want to keep mine in perfect condition." Falcon nodded and blew the smoke out the window. "Alright, how about we start with math?" Falcon nodded and pulled out his math book. He handed his notebook to Wolf. Wolf pulled a pen out of his bag and they got started.
At 5:30 Falcon escorted Wolf outside. "Thank you so much for helping me, can we meet again tomorrow?" Wolf nodded and started to walk home. "And Wolf…" Wolf turned and looked at him. "Maybe one day we can hang out." Wolf nodded again. "Alright bye and thanks again." Over the next few weeks Falcon and Wolf met in the park and walked back to Falcon's house to work on their assignments.
One day they met in the park and Falcon had the bandages removed; his hand was healed. "Hey Falcon, I'm glad to see you, I was kinda worried when you weren't in school today, but I'm guessing you were getting your stitches removed." Falcon nodded. "Well I have everything you missed in school today if you want to go back to your house and work on it."
"Sure, and you know Wolf, I hope we can still get together after today. I can write again, but I would still love to work with you." Wolf nodded. "So cool, has anyone bothered you lately?" Wolf shook his head. "Good, I'm glad to hear it. It seems people leave you alone since you hang out with me."
"Yeah, but that means nothing to me. I'm just glad to have a friend like you Falcon. Who would guess that the nerd and the bully could hang out together?" Falcon laughed. "Yeah I know, sounds corny right?" Falcon shook his head. "Well I guess not, but it's definitely different."
Falcon walked into the house. "Mom I'm back! Wolf is here too!" Althea walked out and smiled. "Mom we're going upstairs to work on homework. Wolf brought me the assignments." Althea nodded and watched them go upstairs. Falcon sat in the window seat and Wolf at the desk. "You know Wolf, I need to thank you. Ever since I've met you I kinda changed. I don't get into anymore fights and I don't act out anymore. I don't smoke as much either; I want to thank you for having faith in me I guess." He looked out the window so Wolf wouldn't see the tears in his eyes.
Wolf stood and put a hand on falcons shoulder. "Like I told you two weeks ago, people can change when things work out right." They got to work on their assignments as Marilyn Mason played on the stereo.
Falcon smiled when Wolf talked in his sleep, it sounded like he was talking to the babies. "I think your daddy is dreaming about you two." He rubbed his stomach gently. "So know you know a little about me and daddy huh? I know you won't remember any of this, but it's a story I needed to tell." He smiled at Wolf before cuddling next to him and going to sleep.
He woke the next morning to Wolf rubbing his stomach. Wolf looked at him and smiled. "Good morning. How are you feeling?" Falcon shrugged. "Too early to know?" Falcon nodded and smiled. "The kids and I were having a talk about what is to come. I figured they should know what is gonna happen in 1 ½ months. I wanted them to be prepared. Falcon beckoned him close and Wolf complied.
Falcon kissed Wolf passionately as he explored Wolf's back with his finger tips. "I need you now Wolf." Wolf smiled and removed his t-shirt and boxers. He pulled Falcon's boxers off and set them with his own clothes. Falcon moaned as Wolf rubbed his stomach gently, his body felt like it was melting. "Oh Wolf, I don't know how much torture I can take." Wolf laughed and moved on to little Falcon. Falcon gasped at the sensation. "Oh God." He rolled onto his side so Wolf could enter him.
"No." Wolf laid on his back. "Ride me Falcon, ride me hard." Falcon had a are you sure? look on his face. "Do it, do it now." Falcon straddled Wolf and slowly lowered himself onto Wolf's hips. Wolf moaned and Falcon lifted his weight off him. Wolf put his hand on Falcon's hips. "Stop, you're not too heavy, just stay." Wolf smiled at him and he impaled himself on Wolf. Wolf moaned sensually. "Oh Falcon, that's right, perfect." Falcon started to raise and lower his hips in a slow but fierce rhythm.
Falcon laughed when he sat on Wolf's hips. He took Wolf's hands and rested them on his belly. "They're kicking, can you feel?" Wolf nodded and started to rub Falcon's belly. "They know who their daddy is; they also know when to torture me." He laughed as Wolf rubbed his stomach which made the twins kick harder. "Stop it Wolf, you're annoying them." Wolf complied and Falcon continued to ride him. Wolf moaned when he came inside Falcon, a few seconds later Falcon came as well.
Wolf laughed at the look on Falcon's face. "Well how about a nice bath to calm the babies and clean up some?" Falcon nodded from his perch on Wolf's waist. "What's on your mind babe, you look lost in thought."
"That may be cause I am lost in thought." Wolf looked at him in wonder. "I'm thinking about our first kiss and the first time we had sex. I've been thinking about our past a lot lately. Last night before I went to sleep I told the twins about after our first meeting, they seemed very attentive." Both men sat there still connected intimately.
"Oh really, you told them how I changed you?" Falcon nodded. "How much did you tell them?" he leaned forward and kissed Falcon's extended stomach. He laid back down and smiled at Falcon.
"I got to when my hand healed. Later I will tell them about when I knew I was in love with you and about my approach to find out if you loved me." Wolf laughed at the memory. "Why are you laughing? It is a memory I cherish with my whole heart."
"Sorry babe, I was remembering my reaction to your approach. How about we tell them that story during our bath?" Falcon nodded and climbed off Wolf. He laid next to him and sighed. "Feel better now?" Falcon nodded with a smile. "Well I am gonna go start the bath you stay here." Falcon nodded and rubbed his stomach.
Wolf and Falcon sat in their familiar places in Falcon's room. Falcon had just turned 24 a few months ago and they were back from college. "So Wolf, how has life been treating you?" Wolf shrugged. "Are you a lawyer yet?" Wolf shook his head. "Well then what is going on? We haven't seen each other since we were 18. There must be something to tell me." Wolf shrugged yet again. Falcon stood, went to Wolf, kissed him, pulled away, and looked him in the eye. "Wolf the entire time I was gone all I thought about was you. Every time I thought of home you came to mind. I feel safe with you Wolf. Now before you say anything, I want you to know I haven't fought anyone since I left for college. The last time I smoked was two years ago, and I love you."
Wolf looked at Falcon with wonder, he tilted his head to the right as if in deep thought. "You just kissed me." Falcon smiled as he nodded. "Wait…you love me?" Falcon nodded again. "Oh wow, this is something." He put his hands on Falcon's cheeks and pulled him close for another kiss. He returned Falcon's kiss with passion and lust. "Well I've news for you; I love you too."
~*~*
Wolf and Falcon were in the tub with Falcon leaning against Wolf's chest. "Yeah, me being the nerd I am was dumbfounded, but it is love. If it wasn't love we wouldn't be married and awaiting the birth of our son and daughter. I can say we went through some rough patches, but we can't be separated by anyone or anything, we are a team." Wolf kissed Falcon's head.
"Yeah, a winning team." He leaned back against Wolf more and rested his head on Wolf's shoulder. "Remember that no matter what I say I love you so much. I want you to know you're my #1 man," he laughed when Blade kicked. "Relax Blade, I love you too." He rubbed his stomach gently. "You both mean so much to me and your dad, you both will always be my little angels."
~*~*
Falcon and Wolf laid on the hammock in the backyard watching the stars. "Do you remember the first night I moved in?" Wolf sighed. "We came out here and watched the stars like we are now. Wolf tightened his hold on Falcon who laid on top of him; his hands migrated to Falcon's stomach. "When I first moved in we had separate rooms and normal jobs. Now you're a lawyer and I've no job. I just write; out of boredom I might add."
"Oh baby, do you really think you have no job? You're doing your job right now." Falcon turned his head and looked at Wolf with a raised eyebrow. "The job you don't seem to notice is to care for our son and daughter. For now your job is to make sure they're safe and have a chance at life, your job is to keep me in line and make sure I remember to love you." He kissed Falcon's head.
Falcon sat up and looked at Wolf with anger. "So you're saying my job is to be an incubator?!" he stood with effort, the force he used to get up flipped the hammock leaving Wolf lying on the ground. "I cannot believe you would say something like that!" he walked into the house with a hand over his stomach; he walked to his old room which was converted into a guest room. He closed the door and locked it before sitting on the bed with tears streaming down his face. He looked around the room and remembered the day he moved in.
~*~*
Falcon pulled his beat up station wagon into the driveway. He remembered when he helped Wolf paint the house he was now gonna call home. He leaned into the backseat and grabbed a small bag containing essentials, he grabbed his laptop bag off the passenger seat, and got out of the car. He walked onto the porch and knocked on the door. Wolf opened it and smiled at him. "You could've just walked in seeing as you live here now."
Falcon shrugged. "Yeah I guess, but mom always told me it is safer to knock and truthfully I don't feel like I live here yet; I still feel like a visitor in my boyfriends house." He laughed nervously, Wolf kissed his cheek and pulled him inside. "You know Wolf, we can kiss without fear of people ridiculing us." They both smiled wickedly, Falcon set his things down and kissed Wolf on the lips. Wolf groaned and they walked to the couch, they sat together still kissing. Falcon pushed away when Wolf's hand migrated to his pants. "Not yet, can we just stick with kissing for now?"
Wolf nodded with knowing eyes. "Sure, how about we get you moved into your room?" Falcon nodded and led the way to his car. It took an hour to get everything into Falcon's room. Wolf sat on Falcon's bed after carrying in the last box. "Did you pack the whole house?" he laughed when Falcon looked around and shrugged. "I think you did, but you forgot one thing." Falcon looked at him with confusion. "You forgot your mom, Althea." He laughed when Falcon threw a pillow at him.
"Oh shut up!" Falcon smiled at Wolf who had put his hands up in surrender. "This is everything I had in my room. Don't worry, if I fit it all in my old room it will all fit in here." Falcon sat next to Wolf and hugged him. "Thanks for letting me move in here; it's wonderful."
"Don't thank me til you taste my cooking. That is always the deal breaker." Falcon kissed him before standing to put things away. Wolf stood and put his arms around him. "I'm gonna start dinner, you want anything specific?" Falcon shook his head. "Ok, I'll get you when it's ready." Falcon nodded and started to put his clothes in the closet. When Wolf knocked on the door he was surprised to find the room looked like someone had lived in it for years. "First: wow. Second: dinner's ready. The room looks great, looks just like your old room at your mom's."
Falcon got off the bed and smiled. "Yeah, all that's missing is the window seat." They went to the kitchen hand in hand. After dinner they went outside to sit on the patio. Wolf sat in one chair, Falcon in another. "You know, this is the reason I had the window seat. I love to look at the stars and wonder what's out there."
~*~*
Falcon's memory was cut short when someone knocked on the door. "Go away Wolf, I don't want to talk to you!" he threw a pillow at the door. The person walked away and he laid back on the bed. He laid there for 5 minutes before the knocking started again. At first he thought it was Wolf and was about to yell when he noticed the knock was softer this time. "Who is it?"
"Uncle Falcon, are you ok?" He recognized Arya's voice and smiled. He got up and opened the door; she smiled up at him. "I was getting worried, you've been in here a long time." Falcon looked at his watch and say it was 10:30, he had been in the guest room since 7. He ushered Arya in and sat with her on the bed. "Are you upset?"
He hugged her and kissed her forehead. "I'm not upset honey, just a little mad." Arya looked at him with the curiosity of a 6 year old. "Your uncle Wolf and I had a small argument, but I'll be ok. Thank you for worrying about me though; it was very kind of you." He hugged her again and held her close. "Where is your mom and sister?"
"In the living room with Uncle Wolf, they don't know I came to talk to you. They think I'm in the bathroom." Falcon laughed. "Can I stay in here with you?" she looked at him with her big green eyes. "Please Uncle Falcon; I'll be good, I promise."
Falcon nodded and laid back on the bed again. He smiled when Arya laid next to him. "You know kid, they'll get suspicious when you don't come back." She shrugged. "Don't really care huh?" Falcon yawned loudly. "Well Arya, I don't know about you, but I'm getting tired. How about we get some sleep ok?" she nodded and laid on her side next to him. He kissed her head before laying on his own side and dozing off.
Marie looked at Wolf who held a sleeping jazz in his arms. "Do you think Arya is ok? She went to the bathroom 15 minutes ago." Wolf shrugged. "I'm gonna check on her." She stood and walked down the hall, she was halfway to the bathroom when she noticed the door was open and the light was off. She ran back to the living room in fear. "Wolf! She's not in the bathroom!"
Wolf stood and gently placed jazz where he was sitting. "I have an idea, follow me." He walked towards the guest room and tried the knob. He smiled when the door opened. He looked inside and saw Arya sleeping with Falcon on the queen sized bed. He opened the door more so Marie could see. "Look, she's fine, she snuck away to see her uncle." After Marie looked he turned off the light and closed the door. "It seems Arya is just like you Marie, just wait, when she's older she'll sneak out to see boyfriends."
Marie smacked his arm and he whimpered. "I doubt Arya will sneak out, I may have but she won't." she walked back to the living room and sat on the couch with an angry sigh. Wolf walked over and sat next to her.
"Marie, I was kidding. Please I don't need four people mad at me right now." Marie looked confused. "When Falcon gets mad at me so does my son and daughter. They usually interact with me, but when Falcon is mad they ignore me. Now please forgive me, I'm sorry ok." She nodded. "Thank you, now seeing as it's 10:45 and Falcon and the girls are sleeping you can sleep in the other guest room. Trust me. Falcon won't wake anytime soon and I need you to talk to him in the morning, he'll refuse to talk to me." Marie nodded, he picked up jazz and led Marie to the second guest room before going to bed himself.
Falcon woke to Crimson and Blade kicking up a storm. His hand went instinctively to his stomach; he stopped short when he heard a little moan. He opened his eyes and smiled when he saw Arya lying next to him. He'd completely forgotten that he let her sleep in the room with him cause she was so worried; in reality he didn't want to be alone. Arya rolled onto her side and laid close to him. He dreamed about the day he would lay with his daughter like this and smiled. He put his arm around her gently; he sighed when Crimson and Blade kicked again.
Marie woke as Jazz moved trying to get comfortable; she smiled and put her arm around her little girl. She thought of Arya sleeping in the other room with Falcon. She had no idea what Wolf had said to Falcon but she planned on finding out. She hugged Jazz gently before attempting to go back to sleep.
Wolf had been awake for the past half hour staring at the ceiling. "How could I say those idiotic things to Falcon? He's my husband and I hurt him." He rolled onto is side and looked at Falcon's side of the bed. He envied his neice right now because she was doing what he wanted to do; she was laying in bed with his husband while he slept. He could remember the first night they slept in the same bed.
~*~*
Wolf sat on the couch with Falcon watching some random movie neither of them were paying attention to. Wolf smiled when Falcon leaned against him and leaned his head on his shoulder. "You know Falcon, I have to admit you're really cute. I love the way you sigh when you're thinking. And when you twirl your hair I go crazy."
Falcon lifted his head off Wolf's shoulder and looked at him. "Oh really, I do other things that will drive you insane." He put his head in the crook of Wolf's shoulder and nibbled. He laughed when Wolf moaned. He looked at Wolf and smiled. "How did that make you feel?" Wolf pretended to faint; Falcon slapped his arm gently.
"Hey no hitting me." He tried to stifle a yawn. "I'm tired, I'm gonna head to bed." He kissed Falcon and stood before heading to his room. Falcon sighed as he watched his love walk away. He turned his attention to the movie but couldn't focus on anything but Wolf. He turned off the TV and headed towards Wolf's room. Wolf looked up when Falcon stood in the doorway. "Hey what are you doing in here?"
"Well you left and I felt lonely. So I was hoping you would let me relax in here with you. I mean if that's not a problem." Wolf nodded and patted the empty spot on the bed. Falcon cuddled up to Wolf and sighed. "You know, laying here with you like this feels right." Wolf nodded in agreement. "I really love you Wolf, I want you to know that." He rested his head on Wolf's chest and fell asleep. Wolf just laughed before turning off the lights and falling asleep himself
~*~*
Wolf noticed he was holding Falcon's pillow close to his body. He sighed and put it back. "I really am an idiot. It will be a miracle if he ever talks to me again." He sighed and put a hand over his eyes as he cried.
Falcon watched Arya as she woke. "Morning kiddo, how did you sleep?" He laughed when she yawned. "Well I wanted to thank you for spending the night with me." Arya nodded; he kissed her cheek and sat up with a slight effort. "How about you go find your mom and sister?" she nodded and hugged him before running out of the room. He rubbed his stomach when Crimson and Blade kicked. "Good morning my little angels." He smiled when they kicked again. "Do you think I should go talk to your daddy? I mean I haven't talked to him since I left him lying on the ground." The babies kicked and he sighed. He stood and headed towards his room.
Falcon stood in the doorway of his room and watched as Wolf cried. He walked into the room and sat on the edge of the bed Wolf didn't even look at him. "Oh great, now my mind is playing tricks on me. If I open my eyes Falcon's won't even be there." Falcon put a hand on his stomach when Crimson and Blade kicked in response to hearing their father. Falcon leaned over Wolf and kissed him passionately. "Please let that be real." Falcon grabbed the hand covering Wolf's eyes and put it over his stomach. "Oh please be real, don't let my mind mess with me."
"So you think I'm a mirage?" Falcon smiled when Wolf opened his eyes. "I promise you I am not a mirage; neither is the kiss or the kids who are happy to hear their daddy." Wolf sat up and hugged Falcon with enthusiasm. "Alright, down boy. If you keep it up you'll squeeze our kids out of me." Both men laughed; Wolf kissed Falcon's stomach before kissing Falcon. "Hey easy on the attention, unless you want to make out with your sister and her kids within hearing distance." Wolf sighed with defeat and leaned against the headboard with Falcon laying on him. "Did you ever figure out that Arya snuck off to see me?"
Wolf played with Falcon's hair. "Yeah when Marie went to see if she fell asleep in the bathroom. Marie came back scared that Arya was missing and we found her sleeping with you." He kissed the top of Falcon's head as his hands massaged Falcon's stomach. "Listen Falcon, last night I said some idiotic things that I didn't mean. Well, I didn't mean for them to come out like they did. I didn't mean to call you an incubator, that was just stupidity on my part. I wasn't thinking at all when I said that. Can you give me another chance to say what I meant?" Falcon nodded and kissed Wolf's hand. "I was trying to say your job is to be my husband and the mother to our children. Your job is to make us a family and make sure I don't mess up like I did last night. Falcon I'm so sorry, can you forgive me?"
Falcon sat up and looked at Wolf. "First, it takes two people to make a family, I can't do it alone. Second, I will always forgive you, it is normal for us to make each other mad, it goes along with being different. And if I didn't forgive you the kids woulda kicked their way out of me by now. Crimson and Blade love you, and just like them I love you too. I had a lot of time last night to think about us, I thought about everything we went through and no matter what I did you stood by my side. Even when I smoked you stayed with me." He laughed when Crimson and Blade gave a sharp kick. "Hey take it easy, I don't smoke anymore." He smiled when Wolf put a hand on his shoulder. "You know, I can't believe we reached the eight month mark yesterday, one month to go."
"Yeah, did you sleep well last night?" Falcon nodded. "I'm glad to hear it, you know last night was hell for me. I missed you so much last night. I got little sleep and when I did sleep I dreamed about how we used to be. And I dreamed about everything wrong I've said to you." Wolf sat up and looked at the wet spot on the bed. "What the fuck?" he looked to Falcon and saw a look of fear on his lover's face. "Falcon, honey are you ok?" Falcon shook his head. "What's wrong?"
Falcon looked at Wolf with horror, his face is pale. "My water broke."
Falcon looked at Wolf with horror; his face pale. "My water broke." He gasped as he felt his first contraction. "No wonder I slept so well, they were showing me the calm before the storm. Honey you need to call Dr. Taylor, they're a month early." Wolf nodded and grabbed his cell phone off the table. Falcon concentrated on his children as Wolf talked to Dr. Taylor and put Falcon's things together. He looked up when Marie knocked. "Oh my god, Marie you have to keep the girls in the living room, my water just broke."
Marie walked in and knelt before him. "Alright, don't worry about anything; the girls are playing in the living room. You need to breathe for yourself and my niece and nephew. This is gonna hard for as well as them, trust me. It will be hard, but that is true, but it will be worth it. Once you see your son and daughter, you will be happy that you went through it all." She massaged his stomach as he had another contraction. "Wolf get going, I'll keep things safe here. I will worry about calling people, you just get my brother to the hospital." She smiled at Falcon to show she meant him. She hugged him and kissed his cheek. "I love you Falcon, make sure you give these babies a kiss for me." He nodded before Wolf helped him up and they headed out.
Falcon sat in the passenger seat rubbing his stomach with each contraction. They were 10 minutes from the hospital when Falcon removed his pants and boxers. Wolf looked at him with concern. "Just keep going, I don't want them both born in the car." Wolf nodded and kept going but at a faster rate. Wolf kept a supportive hand over Falcon's stomach as he drove. Falcon put his feet up on the dash and started to push. He grunted as his child's head emerged. Wolf felt tear stream down his face when he saw Falcon lift their child onto his chest. Falcon looked at the baby and smiled. "Hi princess, you're beautiful. Hi Crimson you're beautiful." He took off his shirt and covered is daughter with it. He remembered Marie's advice and took deep breaths for himself and his son. He smiled when Crimson let out her first cry. "Hush, you're ok baby girl. Daddy and I are here, you're ok."
He groaned when the contraction signaling his son's arrival took over his body. He could already feel his son descending into the birth canal and tried not to push in the hopes Blade would be born in the hospital. When they were 5 minutes away he had no choice but to push cause Blade was crowning. After one push he laid Blade next to Crimson on his chest as he tried to get him to cry.
Wolf looked at his son nervously; Blade had yet to cry. He kept looking between his children and the road. "I'm sorry Blade." He slapped his son's butt like he saw in the movies. He sighed audibly when Blade let out his first scream. "He's ok Falcon, they're ok." He looked at Falcon and saw him crying over the sight of their babies. "You did great Falcon, they're beautiful. I'm so proud of you, and to think you had no pain medication." Falcon looked at Wolf and smirked. "Alright, sorry bad joke."
Falcon looked back at his children and smiled. "They are beautiful honey, I can't believe they are what we created and almost lost." He kissed both babies as they cried. "Hush little ones, you're ok. Momma and daddy are here. No one is gonna hurt you." He looked at Wolf when he pulled into the paramedic section of the hospital.
"Stay here, I'll be right back." Falcon nodded and tried to hush his children. He looked up when Wolf walked over followed by Dr. Taylor and a nurse. Wolf opened the door and smiled at him. Dr. Taylor cut the cord connecting Falcon to his children and handed the babies to the nurse. Dr. Taylor moved so Wolf could help Falcon out. "Alright baby, put your arms round my neck. I'm gonna pick you up and set you in the wheel chair. And don't worry, we have a blanket to cover you with so no one will see you're naked." Falcon laughed and wrapped his arms round Wolf's neck.
~12:15 May 13, 2010~
Falcon and Wolf sat on the hospital bed holding their children. Wolf held Blade and Falcon held Crimson; both children were sleeping peacefully in their parents arms. Falcon looked up when there was a knock at the door. "Come in." He smiled when he saw his nieces walk in with Marie trailing behind them. "Hi girls, hi Marie, come on in and meet the new family members." The girls walked over and stood beside the bed. "Did anyone mess up my house?"
Both girls shook their heads. "They are so handsome Uncle Falcon." Arya said happily. "Can we hold them?"
Falcon looked to Marie and Wolf before nodding. "Ok, but you have to sit up here with us. The girls nodded and climbed onto the bed. Arya sat in front of Falcon and jazz in front of Wolf. Falcon handed Arya Crimson after showing her how to hold her. "Make sure you support her head." He looked at Wolf who was giving jazz the same lesson. "Remember girls, they're fragile." Both girls nodded.
"Congrats Falcon, they are beautiful." Marie kissed Falcon's cheek. "And Wolf, you better be a good daddy to my niece and nephew or you will regret it." She kissed Wolf next. "I called mom and dad after you left; they're gonna stop by later. And Falcon I also called your mom and she is on her way here now. I really envy you Falcon, they were born only ½ hour after you left."
"Actually Crimson was born 10 minutes after we left." Marie looked shocked. "They were born in the car on our way here. It was kinda scary to give birth in the car but they are healthy and that is all that matters." Mari nodded in agreement. He looked at Crimson when she cried. "It's ok princess, you're safe." She stopped crying at the sound of his voice. He looked at Blade and noticed he was sucking on Wolf's finger. "Hey girls, they need to be fed again, do you want to help?" They nodded happily. "Marie, can I have those bottles please?" she nodded and handed them to him. He showed the girls how to hold the bottles and watched as they fed his babies.
Althea parked in the hospital parking lot and walked into the reception area. "Excuse me, I'm here to see Falcon Anderson. Can you tell me what room he's in?"
The nurse looked up the information. "He is on the third floor in room 13." Althea thanked him and walked to the elevator. Once she got to the third floor she walked to room 13 and knocked. She smiled when she heard someone say come in. she walked in to find Arya and jazz sitting on the bed with Falcon and Wolf. She gasped at the sight of her grandchildren.
"Hey mom join the party; hopefully you brought coffee?" she laughed and hugged him. "I did it momma, I had my babies. Aren't they just perfect?" she nodded and kissed him before following the same ritual with Wolf. Falcon looked at Blade when he cried. "Blade relax baby, momma's here." Blade whimpered but complied. Falcon laughed when his mom looked shocked. "What? I can't help that they respond to us. Crimson is the same way." He smiled and put a hand on Wolf's leg. "I love you Wolf." Wolf took his hand and raised it to his mouth for a kiss.
"I can't believe my little boy is a mom now. I'm so proud of you Falcon, you did a great job." Falcon blushed. "Oh quit it. I'm allowed to compliment you when you deserve it, that's what mom's do. You'll do the same with your kids one day. Let's just hope they are different then you used to be." Wolf laughed as Falcon scowled. "Hush Wolf, I remember a few things about you too, Mr. Afraid of everything." Marie and her girls giggled. "I have no idea why you weren't afraid of Falcon, but I'm glad you're together now."
"Do you want to hold them mom?" Althea nodded and he handed Crimson to her. "Mom, meet your granddaughter Crimson Jessica Anderson." Althea smiled at the little bundle in her arms. "She was born first." Althea smiled when Crimson yawned, she kissed her granddaughters brow before handing her to Marie. Wolf handed Blade over. "That would be Blade James Anderson; he didn't want to cry right after he was born. Dr. Taylor says he is ok though." He smiled when Arya and jazz hugged him. "What was that for?" he returned the hugs and kissed their cheeks.
"To congratulate and show love." jazz said with a smile. "They are so pretty uncle Falcon." Arya nodded in agreement.
"And uncle Falcon?" he looked at Arya. "Can we babysit sometime?"
"Of course you can, when they are older you can babysit them all you want." Both girls smiled and hugged him again. "Alright, take it easy, I'm still a little sore." The girls laughed when he kissed their cheeks again.
~3:30 PM May 13~
Falcon and Wolf had just changed diapers when there was a knock on the door. "Come in." Both men smiled when Tammy walked in with her fiancé Jacob. "Tammy, J.J. come in here; I don't plan on biting anyone." Tammy smiled and hugged him.
"Sorry we didn't come earlier, but I just got Marie's message, I was meeting Jake's parents." She looked at crimson and Blade sleeping in the bassinette by Falcon's bed. "Oh my god, they're gorgeous. And look Crimson got her momma's hair, aren't they just perfect Jake?"
"Yeah they are, I can't wait til we get married and have our own babies." Falcon gagged. "Oh shut up, if you can have babies so can I. can I hold them?" Falcon nodded and watched Jacob take Blade and Tammy take Crimson. "Oh my god Falcon, how did you have such beautiful children? They are little angels." As if on cue Blade and Crimson screamed. Tammy was able to calm Crimson but Jacob was failing miserably.
Wolf stood and took his son. "Calm down little boy, you're ok. Daddy's here." Blade calmed when Wolf kissed his brow. "Don't feel bad Jake, he doesn't know you yet, just give him some time." Jacob nodded and walked to Tammy who held a sleeping Crimson. "And Tammy you will be a good mother one day. If you can handle my rebel daughter you can handle anything." Tammy just nodded as she looked at Crimson.
Wolf and Falcon looked up when the door opened. "Alright, where are my grandbabies? I can smell them, I want to see them." Wolf smiled as his mom and dad walked in. Maureen made a b-line to Wolf and Blade. Daniel walked over to Falcon and hugged him before giving him a bouquet of different colored roses.
"Maureen, Daniel thanks for coming and thanks for the roses, they're perfect." Maureen nodded while she looked at Blade.
"How are you feeling Falcon?" Falcon shrugged. "How are you not exhausted? You're amazingly chipper for a person who just gave birth. Were there any problems?"
"You mean other than giving birth in the car?" Daniel looked surprised. "They didn't wait for us to get to the hospital." He explained the birth of his children to Daniel and Marie as Jacob and Tammy sat by the wall. Daniel hugged Falcon again. "You do know you can hold them right Dan?"
"Yeah but I'm gonna let Maureen get it out of her system first, she was so excited when Marie called this morning. All day all she could think about was your babies." He nodded and smiled as he watched Maureen fawn over his kids.
Falcon and Wolf sat on the couch feeding Crimson and Blade. Falcon sat by Wolf wearing his favorite black boots for the first time since he was 6 months pregnant. Wolf laughed when Blade grabbed his bottle and refused to let go. The kids were seven months old and already showed who they were taking after. Crimson grabbed her bottle and threw it. "Crimson you could've just pushed your bottle away; you didn't have to throw it. I don't know what I'm gonna do with you young lady." He set Crimson on the couch next to Wolf and went to retrieve her bottle. He laughed when she took her brother's bottle and played with it. "Crimson are you sure he was done?"
"You know honey, Crimson is just being tough like her momma. Did you expect her to just be peaceful like her brother? You need to remember they are two different people." Wolf said as he took the bottle from Crimson and set it aside. He tickled his kids and laughed. "You know, Marie told me something." Falcon looked at him with wonder. "She told me Blade reminds her of me entirely and Crimson of you; isn't that crazy?" Both kids climbed onto his lap and hugged him; he kissed their brows as they rested their heads on his chest. He smiled when he heard snoring. "Hey babe look, they fell asleep. Don't they look so cute?"
He looked at his children and saw them sleeping with their thumbs in their mouths. He walked back to the couch and sat next to Wolf. "Oh my cute little babies, stay here." He stood in front of the TV and took out his phone. He took a picture of his children and their father. He walked back to Wolf and showed im the picture. He looked up when there was a knock at the door. "I'll get it, let them sleep." He opened the door and looked at the person shocked. "What are you doing here? What do you want?"
Zacarias looked at his son with pride. "Falcon I know you hate me but I want to talk." He looked at Falcon with wonder. "Please there is something I must tell you."
"Well I'm sorry but I don't need to listen. Now get out of here before you wake my children. I told you once and I'll tell you again; I want nothing to do with you. I want nothing to do with a man who leaves his girlfriend cause he got her knocked up. And just to qualify you're not allowed near me, my husband, my mom, or my children. Now please leave before I have you arrested for trespassing." He closed the door and walked back to the living room. He got a pillow and threw it across the room in a fit of anger.
"Hey what's wrong, what got you so riled up in a few seconds?" Falcon said nothing but walked out to the backyard. "Falcon?" he stood holding his kids and followed his love. He found Falcon attacking the punching bag in the shed. "Falcon please talk to me, what happened?"
"Zac happened; he was who came to visit. He thinks I would forgive him just cause he wanted to talk. I told him to go away and slammed the door in his face. Now I really want a cigarette, but we all know I can't have one so I want to rip someone's head off, preferably his. But I can't do that either cause I won't be able to watch my kids grow up if I'm in jail. So now I'm out here pretending the punching bag is him."
He punched and kicked the bag til he screamed and Crimson started to cry. He took her and paced across the shed with her. "Feeling a little better?" Falcon nodded as he bounced Crimson on his hip. "You need to remember that Zac is just a worthless idiot. And if he comes near you again I'll kick his ass to the curb while you watch."
Zacarias heard the sounds coming from the backyard and walked towards them. He stood on the side of the house watching his son and grandchildren. He knew he was spotted right away cause Falcon handed Crimson to her father and walked towards him. "Listen Falcon, I just want 5 minutes of your time. After that I'll never bother you again. Please just let me talk." The kids started to cry and Falcon took them both, once he held them in his arms they relaxed and put their heads on his shoulders.
Falcon nodded. "Alright, you get 5 minutes and nothing more. And if you upset my kids I will personally kick your ass, understand?" Zac nodded. Falcon held on tighter to his kids to keep them calm and to keep his hands busy so that he didn't punch his father. "Well, get to it."
Zacarias started to pace the lawn. "Alright, well I know I'm a bad father and that everything I did to you and your mother was wrong. I wish I had been there to see you grow up, but I wasn't. And when I met you a year ago I was cruel and coldhearted to you both again." He sighed. "I really loved your mother and leaving her was the dumbest thing I ever did. I should've stayed with her and helped her raise you, but instead I wasted my life away. Back then I left cause I didn't want a baby to weigh me down. I wanted to live my life before having a family. I'm s proud of you now, you have 2 beautiful children, and a husband who loves you while all you had was your mother.
Now I'm not saying I just wanna hop into your life, but I am saying I'm sorry and proud of you cause you didn't make the same mistake I did." He looked at Falcon and sighed. "Well I'm gonna go now and I promise you'll never hear from me again." Zac turned and walked away, Falcon just watched him leave. He forgot where he was til Crimson pulled on his hair.
"What is it baby?" he kissed both his children before handing them to Wolf and walking away. Wolf watched in horror as Falcon went in the same direction as Zacarias. Falcon saw Zac and ran to him. "Zac wait!" Zacarias turned and looked at him. "Listen, what you said back there hit home. I did grow up without a dad and for years mom did say that if I didn't change my act I would end up just like him. I was mad that you left us like that and when I met you a year ago I hated you cause you picked on me for having a family.
I notice now that if I let you go away me and my kids will lose something important. I always believed things happen for a reason, maybe the reason you found me a year ago was so I could have a second chance with my dad. I don't know if this is a good idea, but I want you around. I want my kids to know you, for now it is a temporary situation to see how it goes. But if I feel it isn't working you go." He extended his hand. "Do we have a deal?"
Zac grabbed his son's hand and shook it. "We have a deal, maybe I can come over in a few days to meet your husband and kids the right way?" Falcon nodded. "Good, well I gotta go, I'll see you later." Zac hugged his son and walked away. Falcon watched his dad go and walked back to his family.
A/N: this is the orignal ending i was gonna use for this story but decided not to cause i thought the story would have so much left unanswered so i just redid it and got chapter 22
Falcon sat on his bed rubbing his huge, round stomach. Pain rippled through his stomach and he reached for his cell phone. He put in the number of his husband Wolf; the phone rang four times before it was answered, "Hello?"
"Wolf, it's time. I need you here now." Wolf could hear Falcon gasp in pain.
"Calm down Falcon, I am coming; everything will be ok, just breathe and stay calm." He could hear Falcon attempting to breathe through the pain. "I will be there in ten minutes, please for the sake of the babies stay calm." Wolf smiled as he grabbed his coat and ran out to his car.
"I love you Wolf." Falcon said while panting. He had his hand placed protectively over the babies as they kicked.
"I love you too Falcon." He hung up the phone and started to drive to the house he shared with his husband. Falcon continued to rub his stomach with each contraction. As he waited for Wolf, he talked to his babies in an attempt to calm them and himself.
~*~*
Wolf drove as fast as he could to the house he shared with Falcon. He could not believe that soon he would be holding little Crimson and little Blade in his arms. The past 9 months had been really hectic. He never would have guessed that his past lover Tomas would have been jealous that he was with Falcon and that they were gonna have children. He never thought that he would have almost lost Falcon and the twins because of Tomas. He was lucky that he hadn't. But the time that he almost lost Falcon and the twins kept running through his head as he drove to them in Falcon's car.
~*~*
Falcon looked up as he heard his car pull into the driveway. He went to stand to meet Wolf at the door but couldn't; he felt incredible pressure on his pelvis and he had the urge to push. He heard the front door open. "Wolf, help!" He screamed as another contraction ran through him. Wolf heard his lover's scream and ran through the house to their bedroom. He found Falcon lying against the headboard, his body covered in sweat.
"Oh my god, Falcon. We need to get you to the hospital. Come on, we have to go." He was surprised when Falcon stopped him as he went to pick him up. "What is it? We have to go."
"No time. Babies coming now." Falcon replied between breaths. "Feel need to push." He sat up more as he tried to fight a contraction. "Please help me."
"Ok, I am calling for an ambulance. They will help us." He pulled the phone out of his pocket and called 911. "I need help, my husband is in labor. Please help us. No, I am not kidding. No, no! Please don't hang up." He looked upset. "Shit! What do I do? They think I am joking." He looked at Falcon as he cringed in pain. There was only one other option. He put in the number for Falcon's doctor. "Hello, Dr. Taylor? Yes, this is Wolf Anderson. Falcon is in labor and says he feels the need to push. I called 911 to get help and they think I am joking. What do I do?"
"Wolf, you need to calm down. You can't help him if you are freaking out." Dr. Taylor said in an attempt to make Wolf pay attention.
"Ok, but I am so worried. I have no idea what to do." Wolf nodded as he listened to Dr. Taylor told him what to do. He walked into the bathroom and got two clean towels. He walked back into the room and set them on the bed. He helped Falcon pull off his pants and boxers and set them aside. He looked at Falcon and smiled. "Ok Falcon, Dr. Taylor says to have you push when you get your next contraction."
He made sure Falcon was propped up on pillows and when the next contraction started, he encouraged Falcon to push as Dr. Taylor gave him instructions over the phone. "Keep it up Falcon, I can see a head." He caught the first baby as it came out. He began to clean it with one of the towels. "Oh my god, Falcon Crimson is beautiful." The whole time Dr. Taylor was instructing Wolf on the phone she was driving to the house to help them.
Wolf set Crimson on Falcon's chest so he could see her. He smiled at her and kissed her forehead. "Hi Crimson. I'm your momma." A tear started to stream down his face. "You are beautiful. I can't believe that you're here." His happy moment ended as another contraction came over him. When the contraction ended, he looked back at his daughter. "Look at her Wolf, our little girl. She has your eyes, and my nose. She is gorgeous."
Both men looked up as Dr. Taylor walked into the room with her medical bag. Wolf had put the phone back in his pocket when Dr. Taylor said she was in the driveway, but Falcon was paying attention to Crimson so he didn't even notice. "Hey Falcon. First I am gonna check on your daughter and make sure she is ok. Then I am gonna check on your son and see how long before it is time to push him out ok?" Falcon nodded as she got a stethoscope out of her bag and put it on Crimson's chest to make sure her breathing was normal and that her heart was beating perfectly.
She next pulled a pair of surgical scissors out of her bag and two clamps. She put the clamps on Crimson's umbilical cord and let Wolf cut between them. He smiled at Falcon who was still fawning over their daughter. His heart went out to Falcon as he cringed because of another contraction. Dr. Taylor checked on Blade to see if it was time for Falcon to push again. "Falcon, you need to let Wolf hold Crimson. It is time to deliver your son. He wants to join his parents and his sister. When you get another contraction push ok?" Falcon nodded as he kissed Crimson and handed her to Wolf. As another contraction rippled through him, Falcon began to push with all his strength. "You're doing great Falcon. Take a deep breath and push again. Good, come on Falcon, I see his head." She caught the baby and immediately checked to see if he was breathing and that his heart was beating normally just like she did with Crimson. She put the clamps on the umbilical cord and this time Falcon cut the cord attaching him and his son.
Dr. Taylor wrapped Blade in the other towel and handed him to Falcon. "Falcon, Wolf, I want you to meet your son Blade." She helped Falcon sit up against the headboard of the bed. She smiled as Wolf sat next to Falcon with Crimson in his arms. "You both did a very good job under the circumstances. I am glad they are both ok." She watched Falcon and Wolf as they looked at their babies with love in their eyes.
"Look Wolf, Blade and Crimson are both here. They are perfect, we made two perfect babies." Falcon leaned against Wolf and began to cry again. Neither men paid attention to Dr. Taylor as she called for an ambulance to take Falcon and the babies to the hospital. "Hi Blade. Look, he has black hair and Crimson has brown hair. And they both have your eyes." Once the ambulance arrived, Wolf carried the twins as Falcon was wheeled downstairs to the ambulance in the driveway. He handed his children to the EMT's before kissing Falcon and telling him, he would see him at the hospital. Wolf and Dr. Taylor followed the ambulance in their cars as it drove to the hospital.
~*~*
They all arrived at the hospital ten minutes later. Falcon and the babies were wheeled to a room. Wolf followed them with tears in his eyes. Once Falcon was situated in his room and the babies were given the bill of health, the doctors and nurses left Falcon and Wolf alone to spend time with their babies. They had already dressed Crimson in her pink dress with roses and Blade was wearing his blue pants and blue shirt with the bears on it.
Falcon sat holding Blade and Wolf was holding Crimson. "You did a great job with our children Falcon. They are beautiful and perfect. And you know we won't get a full nights sleep any time soon."
Falcon laughed. "Yeah, but like you said a long time ago, it's worth it for our babies." He looked at Blade then Crimson. "And Wolf, I want thank you for helping me when I needed you. I don't know what would have happened if you weren't there with me. I know it sounds wrong, but if not for you, we might have lost the babies. I was so nervous I could barely think straight."
Wolf hugged Falcon with his free arm. "You would have known what to do. I know it, when I got there; you already knew what to do. You said your body was telling you to push. And I really doubt we would have lost the babies if I weren't there to help you. You're very smart Falcon; you just don't give yourself enough credit." Both men smiled as the twins started to cry. "I think they are hungry."
Wolf leaned over and grabbed first one bottle from the table and handed it to Falcon to feed Blade. He grabbed the second bottle and began to feed Crimson. They had agreed it was better that they bottle-fed the twins because it meant they could both be involved in feeding the babies. Both men smiled as the twins began to drink greedily. "They are just like you in one aspect, they have really big appetites. Just wait until they are older and can taste my cooking. They will never want to leave the kitchen." Falcon just smiled and watched Blade continue to drink from his bottle.
