Sort of a story formatting suggestion/request...

I was wondering if it would be possible to add sort of a warning either in the of stories' thread subject, or in the first line so that individuals can see whether or not it contains particular situations to which they would not like to read about?  I've been seeing quite a bit of unrest about certain types of content in stories, mainly because there really aren't any warnings up in the intro, or in the stories' thread subject.  

 

In past experiences I have noticed if individuals are warned, or at least know what may be contained in the story and they don't like it, they will avoid it and not to look/read.

 

I think it might help, coming up with some sort of lableing standard so we can also search for a particular type of story through the search function too.  The search function on the site seems a bit simple (advanced search) but as long as the key word is at least 4 characters long the search will work at finding things that individuals want.  I would be more than happy to help with something like this also.

I moved this into the Stories section, not because it was in the wrong place (both places are acceptable) but because I think you will get more people to read it here.

This is a good idea! I know that there are a few of us who do this already, but there are some who don't.

We do have an option to put up tags below the story subject, so warnings can be put there or in an intro in the first post. If you do use the tags, guys, please limit yourself to 3. Any more than that, and the subjects start to look cluttered.

I really like this idea because I don't like underage or incest in stories.

That is great, but I still feel creepy reading stories with "active" characters under the age of 18. I love the idea of tags on the stories just to be aware of potential content.

Incest isn't just a sexual relationship. A romantically physical one is just as bad; kissing, hugging, touching, etc. Even cohabitation is considered incest. If the two people involved are behaving in any other way than normal family members, I suggest not posting it here.

If it involves one character being a surrogate for a family member, (as in a brother bearing a child for his sister, who can't have children, or vice versa) then this is okay.

Characters having children for their parents, however (as in giving birth to their own sisters or brothers) is not okay.

Anything involving sexual contact between family members is not okay as well.

 I don't think we have to take it that far. The way you are wording it makes it sound like siblings who share an apartment are engaging in an incestual relationship.

Right now, we are just focusing on romantic/sexual incest. Anything else will be taken into consideration case by case.

 I totally agree. I avoid stories regarding teen pregnancy. I just prefer full-blown adults (21+).

Okay, let me clarify something guys-- you don't need to put down "mpreg" as one of your tags if you decide to use them. All the stories in this section should be mpreg already, XD

This is a great idea <33 I luv guro. I hate having to go through a ton of stoies that arent. ive seen some other story archives that have tags and its alot easier lol.
